2:1  And Joshua, the son of Nun, sent from Setim two men, to spy secretly: and said to them: Go, and view the land, and the city of Jericho. They went, and entered into the house of a woman that was a harlot, named Rahab, and lodged with her.

2:1  Jozue, syn Núnův, vyslal potají ze Šitímu dva muže jako zvědy. Řekl: „Jděte, prohlédněte tu zemi i Jericho.“ Šli tedy a vstoupili do domu jedné ženy jménem Rachab, nevěstky, a tam přespali.

2:1  Jozue, syn Nunův, pak ze Šitimu tajně vyslal dva muže na výzvědy se slovy: „Jděte prohlédnout tu zem, a zvláště Jericho.“ Šli tedy a vstoupili do domu jedné nevěstky jménem Rachab, kde přespali.

2:1  I poslal Jozue, syn Núnův, ze Šitímu tajně dva zvědy se slovy: Jděte, prohlédněte si tu zemi i Jericho. Šli tedy, přišli do domu prostitutky jménem Rachab a ulehli tam.

2:1  Poslal pak byl Jozue, syn Nun, z Setim dva muže špehéře tajně, řka: Jděte, shlédněte zemi, zvlášť Jericho. I šli a vešli do domu ženy nevěstky, jejíž jméno bylo Raab, a odpočinuli tu.

2:3  Jerišský král dal Rachabě rozkaz: „Vyveď ty muže, kteří k tobě přišli a vstoupili do tvého domu. Přišli proto, aby obhlédli celou zemi.“

2:3  Jerišský král proto vzkázal Rachab: „Vydej ty muže, co k tobě přišli, ty, co vstoupili k tobě do domu! Přišli proslídit celou zem!“

2:3  Jerišský král tedy poslal k Rachabě se slovy: Vyveď ty ⌈příchozí, kteří vstoupili do tvého domu,⌉ protože přišli, aby proslídili celou zemi.

2:5  And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

2:5  Když při setmění zavírali bránu, ti muži odešli. Nevím, kam šli. Rychle je pronásledujte, ať je dostihnete.“

2:14  And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

2:14  The men said to her, "Our life for yours, if you do not talk about this business of ours; and it shall be, when the Lord gives us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you."

2:16  And she said to them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may you go your way.
