10:1  After Abimelech, there arose a ruler in Israel, Thola, son of Phua, the uncle of Abimelech, a man of Issachar, who dwelt in Samir of mount Ephraim:

10:6  But the children of Israel, adding new sins to their old ones, did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served idols, Baalim and Astaroth, and the gods of Syria, and of Sidon, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines: and they left the Lord, and did not serve him.

10:6  And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the Lord, and served not him.

10:6  Izraelci se dále dopouštěli toho, co je zlé v Hospodinových očích. Sloužili baalům a aštoretám i bohům aramejským a bohům sidónským, též bohům moábským a bohům Amónovců i bohům Pelištejců. Hospodina opustili a nesloužili mu.

10:6  Synové Izraele znovu jednali v Hospodinových očích zle. Sloužili baalům a aštartám, bohům aramejským a sidonským, bohům moábským, amonským i bohům filištínským. Hospodina opustili a nesloužili mu.

10:8  And that year they harassed and oppressed the children of Israel eighteen years, all the children of Israel that [were] on the other side of Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which [is] in Gilead.

10:15  Izraelci Hospodinu odpověděli: „Zhřešili jsme. Nalož s námi, jak sám uznáš za vhodné, jenom nás ještě tentokrát vyprosti!“

10:15  Synové Izraele na to Hospodinu řekli: „Zhřešili jsme. Udělej s námi, cokoli uznáš za dobré, ale vysvoboď nás, prosím, ještě tentokrát!“

10:15  Avšak synové Izraele řekli Hospodinu: Zhřešili jsme, nalož s námi zcela tak, jak je dobré ve tvých očích. Jen nás, prosíme, tohoto dne vysvoboď.

10:15  I řekli synové Izraelští Hospodinu: Zhřešili jsme; učiň s námi, cožť se dobře líbí, a však vysvoboď nás, prosíme, v tento čas.

10:15  And the children of Israel said to the LORD, We have sinned: do thou to us whatever seemeth good to thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

10:18  Lid a gileádští velmožové se mezi sebou dohodli: „Ten, kdo zahájí boj proti Amónovcům, bude náčelníkem všech obyvatel Gileádu.“

10:18  The people, the rulers of Gilead, said to each other, "What man is he who will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? He shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead."

10:18  And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

10:18  Dixeruntque principes Galaad singuli ad proximos suos : Qui primus ex nobis contra filios Ammon cœperit dimicare, erit dux populi Galaad.
