2:1  And an angel of the Lord went up from Galgal to the place of weepers, and said: I made you go out of Egypt, and have brought you into the land for which I swore to your fathers: and I promised that I would not make void my covenant with you for ever:

2:1  I vystoupil posel Hospodinův z Gilgálu do Bokímu a volal: „Vyvedl jsem vás z Egypta a uvedl jsem vás do země, kterou jsem přísežně slíbil vašim otcům. Prohlásil jsem: ‚Svou smlouvu s vámi navěky nezruším.

2:1  Z Gilgalu do Bokimu šel Hospodinův anděl a volal: „Vyvedl jsem vás z Egypta a přivedl vás do země, kterou jsem s přísahou zaslíbil vašim otcům. Řekl jsem: ‚Svou smlouvu s vámi nikdy nezruším.

2:18  And when the Lord raised them up judges, in their days, he was moved to mercy, and heard the groanings of the afflicted, and delivered them from the slaughter of the oppressors.

2:18  And when the Lord raised them up judges, then the Lord was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the Lord because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

2:18  Kdykoli jim Hospodin povolával soudce, býval se soudcem a vysvobozoval je z rukou nepřátel po všechny soudcovy dny. Hospodin měl totiž s nimi soucit, když sténali pod svými utlačovateli a tyrany.

2:18  Když jim Hospodin vzbuzoval soudce, býval Hospodin s ním a po všechny soudcovy dny je zachraňoval z rukou jejich nepřátel. Byl totiž pohnut lítostí, když úpěli pod svými utlačovateli a trýzniteli.

2:18  A když Hospodin dával kvůli nim povstat soudcům, ⌈byl Hospodin s tím⌉ soudcem a zachraňoval je z ruky jejich nepřátel po všechny dny toho soudce, neboť Hospodin se slitovával kvůli jejich sténání před jejich utiskovateli a poháněči.

2:18  A když vzbuzoval jim Hospodin soudce, býval Hospodin s každým soudcím, a vysvobozoval je z ruky nepřátel jejich po všecky dny soudce; (nebo želel Hospodin naříkání jejich, k němuž je přivodili ti, kteříž je ssužovali a utiskali).

2:18  And when the LORD raised up judges for them, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: (for the LORD repented because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and burdened them.)

2:18  When the Lord raised them up judges, then the Lord was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it grieved the Lord because of their groaning by reason of those who oppressed them and troubled them.

2:18  And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

2:18  Cumque Dominus judices suscitaret, in diebus eorum flectebatur misericordia, et audiebat afflictorum gemitus, et liberabat eos de cæde vastantium.

2:19  But after the judge was dead, they returned, and did much worse things than their fathers had done, following strange gods, serving them, and adoring them. They left not their own inventions, and the stubborn way, by which they were accustomed to walk.

2:19  And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

2:19  Po soudcově smrti si však opět počínali hůře než jejich otcové, chodili za jinými bohy, sloužili jim a klaněli se jim. Nevzdali se svých způsobů ani svého zatvrzelého počínání.

2:19  Po smrti soudce se ale znovu zkazili, ještě hůře než jejich otcové, a odcházeli za cizími bohy, aby jim sloužili a klaněli se jim. Svého tvrdošíjného jednání a způsobů se odmítali vzdát.

2:19  Když však soudce zemřel, stalo se, že se navrátili zpět a ⌈vrhali se do zkázy⌉ více než jejich otcové, chodili za jinými bohy, sloužili jim a klaněli se jim. Nevzdali se svých činů ani svých zatvrzelých cest.

2:19  Po smrti pak soudce navracejíce se zase, pohoršovali cest svých více nežli otcové jejich, odcházejíce za bohy cizími, a sloužíce i klanějíce se jim; nic neulevili z skutků jejich zlých a cesty jejich převrácené.

2:19  And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, [that] they returned, and corrupted [themselves] more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down to them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

2:20  And the wrath of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he said: Behold this nation hath made void my covenant, which I had made with their fathers, and hath despised to hearken to my voice:

2:20  And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

2:20  Proto Hospodin vzplanul proti Izraeli hněvem a prohlásil: „Protože tento pronárod přestoupil moji smlouvu, kterou jsem uložil jejich otcům, a neposlouchají mě,

2:20  Hospodin proto vzplanul proti Izrael hněvem a řekl: „Tento národ porušil mou smlouvu, kterou jsem vydal jejich otcům. Neposlouchali mě,

2:20  Tehdy vzplanul proti Izraeli Hospodinův hněv a on řekl: Kvůli tomu, že tento národ přestoupil mou smlouvu, kterou jsem dal jejich otcům, a neposlechli mě,

2:20  Protož rozpálila se prchlivost Hospodinova proti Izraelovi, a řekl: Proto že přestoupil národ tento smlouvu mou, kterouž jsem učinil s otci jejich, a neposlouchali hlasu mého:

2:20  And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened to my voice;

2:20  The anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel; and he said, "Because this nation have transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not listened to my voice;

2:20  And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people has transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not listened to my voice;

2:20  Iratusque est furor Domini in Israël, et ait : Quia irritum fecit gens ista pactum meum, quod pepigeram cum patribus eorum, et vocem meam audire contempsit :

2:21  I also will not destroy the nations which Josue left when he died:

2:21  I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

2:21  ani já už před nimi nevyženu žádný z těch pronárodů, které ponechal Jozue, než zemřel.

2:21  a proto už před nimi nevyženu žádný národ, který zůstal po Jozuově smrti.

2:22  That through them I may try Israel, whether they will keep the way of the Lord, and walk in it, as their fathers kept it, or not.

2:22  Jimi budu Izraele zkoušet, zda bude chodit po cestě Hospodinově právě tak bedlivě jako jejich otcové, či nebude.“

2:22  Skrze ně budu Izrael zkoušet, zda usiluje chodit po Hospodinově cestě, jako usilovali jejich otcové, anebo ne.“

2:22  To abych jejich prostřednictvím Izrael zkoušel, zda budou zachovávat Hospodinovu cestu, aby po ní chodili, jak to zachovávali jejich otcové, nebo ne.

2:22  Abych skrze ně zkušoval Izraele, budou-li ostříhati cesty přikázaní Hospodinových, chodíce v nich, jakož ostříhali otcové jejich, čili nic.
