10:1  Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

10:2  In the Lord I put my trust: how then do you say to my soul: Get thee away from hence to the mountain, like a sparrow.

10:2  The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

10:3  Když svévolník chválí, pak jen pro své choutky, když chamtivec dobrořečí, znevažuje Hospodina.

10:3  Svým vlastním chtíčem se ničemové chlubí, chamtivce chválí, Hospodina snižují,

10:3  Vždyť ničema se vychloubá tužbami své duše, ⌈ten, kdo hrabe pro sebe, zlořečí⌉ a Hospodinem pohrdá.

10:3  Neboť se honosí bezbožník v líbostech života svého, a lakomý sobě pochlebuje, a Hospodina popouzí.

10:4  Svévolník ve zpupném hněvu říká: „Bůh nic nevypátrá, Bůh tu není.“ Odtud všechny jeho pikle.

10:4  ve svojí pýše ho vůbec nehledají, Bůh nemá místo v jejich myšlení.

10:4  Bezbožník pro pýchu, kterouž na sobě prokazuje, nedbá na nic; všecka myšlení jeho jsou, že není Boha.

10:5  His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

10:5  Úspěšné jsou jeho cesty v každé době, vysoko jsou od něho tvé soudy, soptí proti všem svým protivníkům.

10:5  Na svých cestách mají stále jen úspěch, tvé zákony jsou jim vzdáleny, ze všech protivníků mají jen posměch,

10:5  Jeho cesty jsou v každém čase úspěšné, vysoko před ním jsou tvé soudy. Všichni jeho nepřátelé? Nad těmi si odfrkne.

10:5  Dobře mu se daří na cestách jeho všelikého času, soudové tvoji vzdáleni jsou od něho, i na všecky nepřátely své fouká,

10:8  For the Lord is just, and hath loved justice: his countenance hath beheld righteousness.

10:13  Proč má bezbožník Boha popouzeti, říkaje v srdci svém, že toho vyhledávati nebudeš?

10:13  Why doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].

10:14  Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

10:14  Ty však vidíš trápení a hoře. Shlédneš a vše vezmeš do svých rukou. Bezbranný se spoléhá na tebe, sirotkovi poskytuješ pomoc.

10:14  Ty to však vidíš! Ty vnímáš trápení i žal, svou vlastní rukou abys potrestal! Na tebe samého bezbranný spoléhá, ty jsi pomocníkem sirotka!

10:14  Ty však vidíš, hledíš na trápení a zášť a vezmeš to do své ruky. Vždyť ubožák ⌈se spoléhá na tebe.⌉ Sirotkovi ⌈se staneš pomocí.⌉

10:14  Díváš se do času, nebo ty nátisk a bolest spatřuješ, abys jim odplatil rukou svou; na tebeť se spouští chudý, sirotku ty jsi spomocník.

10:14  But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.

10:15  Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

10:17  Tužbu pokorných vyslýcháš, Hospodine, jejich srdce posiluješ, máš pozorné ucho,

10:17  Hospodin vyslyší tužby ponížených – povzbudíš jejich srdce, ucho k nim nakloníš,

10:17  Hospodine, touhu pokorných jsi vyslyšel. Upevníš jim srdce, popřeješ jim sluchu,

10:17  Žádost ponížených vyslýcháš, Hospodine, utvrzuješ srdce jejich, ucha svého k nim nakloňuješ,

10:17  LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thy ear to hear:

10:18  zjednáš právo sirotkovi, právo zdeptanému; člověk na zemi už nebude vzbuzovat strach.

10:18  zjednáš soud sirotkům i všem utlačeným, pozemský člověk aby je neděsil!

10:18  abys zjednal právo sirotkovi a utlačenému. Člověk ze země je už nebude děsit.

10:18  Abys soud činil sirotku a ssouženému, tak aby jich nessužoval více člověk bídný a zemský.
