Chapter 81
Psal DRC 81:1  A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods.
Psal KJV 81:1  Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
Psal VulgClem 81:1  Psalmus Asaph. Deus stetit in synagoga deorum ; in medio autem deos dijudicat.
Psal DRC 81:2  How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked?
Psal KJV 81:2  Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
Psal VulgClem 81:2  Usquequo judicatis iniquitatem, et facies peccatorum sumitis ?
Psal DRC 81:3  Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor.
Psal KJV 81:3  Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
Psal VulgClem 81:3  Judicate egeno et pupillo ; humilem et pauperem justificate.
Psal DRC 81:4  Rescue the poor; and deliver the needy out of the hand of the sinner.
Psal KJV 81:4  For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
Psal VulgClem 81:4  Eripite pauperem, et egenum de manu peccatoris liberate.
Psal DRC 81:5  They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.
Psal KJV 81:5  This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
Psal VulgClem 81:5  Nescierunt, neque intellexerunt ; in tenebris ambulant : movebuntur omnia fundamenta terræ.
Psal DRC 81:6  I have said: You are gods and all of you the sons of the most High.
Psal KJV 81:6  I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

Psal DRC 81:7  But you like men shall die: and shall fall like one of the princes.
Psal KJV 81:7  Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Psal DRC 81:8  Arise, O God, judge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherit among all the nations.
Psal KJV 81:8  Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
Psal VulgClem 81:8  Surge, Deus, judica terram, quoniam tu hæreditabis in omnibus gentibus.

Psal KJV 81:9  There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

Psal KJV 81:10  I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Psal KJV 81:12  So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Psal KJV 81:13  Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

Psal KJV 81:14  I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
