Chapter 91
Psal DRC 91:1  A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.
Psal KJV 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psal VulgClem 91:1  Psalmus cantici, in die sabbati.
Psal DRC 91:2  It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.
Psal KJV 91:2  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psal VulgClem 91:2  Bonum est confiteri Domino, et psallere nomini tuo, Altissime :
Psal DRC 91:3  To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:
Psal KJV 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psal VulgClem 91:3  ad annuntiandum mane misericordiam tuam, et veritatem tuam per noctem,
Psal DRC 91:4  Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.
Psal KJV 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psal DRC 91:5  For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.
Psal KJV 91:5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psal VulgClem 91:5  Quia delectasti me, Domine, in factura tua ; et in operibus manuum tuarum exsultabo.
Psal DRC 91:6  O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.
Psal KJV 91:6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psal VulgClem 91:6  Quam magnificata sunt opera tua, Domine ! nimis profundæ factæ sunt cogitationes tuæ.
Psal DRC 91:7  The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.
Psal KJV 91:7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psal VulgClem 91:7  Vir insipiens non cognoscet, et stultus non intelliget hæc.
Psal DRC 91:8  When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:
Psal KJV 91:8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psal VulgClem 91:8  Cum exorti fuerint peccatores sicut fœnum, et apparuerint omnes qui operantur iniquitatem, ut intereant in sæculum sæculi :
Psal DRC 91:9  But thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.
Psal KJV 91:9  Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psal VulgClem 91:9  tu autem Altissimus in æternum, Domine.
Psal DRC 91:10  For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psal KJV 91:10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psal VulgClem 91:10  Quoniam ecce inimici tui, Domine, quoniam ecce inimici tui peribunt ; et dispergentur omnes qui operantur iniquitatem.
Psal DRC 91:11  But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.
Psal KJV 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psal VulgClem 91:11  Et exaltabitur sicut unicornis cornu meum, et senectus mea in misericordia uberi.
Psal DRC 91:12  My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.
Psal KJV 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psal VulgClem 91:12  Et despexit oculus meus inimicos meos, et in insurgentibus in me malignantibus audiet auris mea.
Psal DRC 91:13  The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.
Psal KJV 91:13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psal VulgClem 91:13  Justus ut palma florebit ; sicut cedrus Libani multiplicabitur.
Psal DRC 91:14  They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.
Psal KJV 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psal VulgClem 91:14  Plantati in domo Domini, in atriis domus Dei nostri florebunt.
Psal DRC 91:15  They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,
Psal KJV 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psal VulgClem 91:15  Adhuc multiplicabuntur in senecta uberi, et bene patientes erunt :
Psal DRC 91:16  That they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
Psal KJV 91:16  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Psal VulgClem 91:16  ut annuntient quoniam rectus Dominus Deus noster, et non est iniquitas in eo.
