25:9  But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go to Jerusalem, and there be judged concerning these things before me?

25:9  But Festus, desiring to gain favor with the Judeans, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem, and be judged by me there concerning these things?"

25:9  But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Will you go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

25:10  Then Paul said: I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged. To the Jews I have done no injury, as thou very well knowest.

25:10  Ale Pavel řekl: „Stojím před císařským soudem, kde mám být souzen. Proti Židům jsem se v ničem neprovinil, jak i ty velmi dobře víš.

25:10  Then said Paul, I stand at Cesar's tribunal, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.

25:10  But Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Judeans, as you also know very well.

25:14  And as they tarried there many days, Festus told the king of Paul, saying: A certain man was left prisoner by Felix.

25:14  Protože se tam zdrželi nějakou dobu, předložil Festus králi Pavlův případ. Řekl: „Je zde muž, kterého Félix zanechal ve vazbě.
