Gene DRC 48:5  So thy two sons, who were born to thee in the land of Egypt before I came hither to thee, shall be mine: Ephraim and Manasses shall be reputed to me as Ruben and Simeon.
Gene KJV 48:5  And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
Gene CzeCEP 48:5  Oba synové, kteří se ti v egyptské zemi narodili před mým příchodem k tobě do Egypta, budou nyní moji.
Gene CzeCSP 48:5  A teď, tvoji dva synové, kteří se ti narodili v egyptské zemi do mého příchodu k tobě do Egypta, budou moji.
Gene Webster 48:5  And now, thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to thee in the land of Egypt, before I came to thee into Egypt, [are] mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

Gene DRC 48:6  But the rest whom thou shalt have after them, shall be thine, and shall be called by the name of their brethren in their possessions.
Gene KJV 48:6  And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.

Gene DRC 48:7  For, when I came out of Mesopotamia, Rachel died from me in the land of Chanaan in the very journey, and it was spring time: and I was going to Ephrata, and I buried her near the way of Ephrata, which by another name is called Bethlehem.
Gene KJV 48:7  And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Beth–lehem.

Gene NHEB 48:7  As for me, when I came from Paddan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when there was still some distance to come to Ephrath, and I buried her there in the way to Ephrath (the same is Bethlehem)."
Gene AKJV 48:7  And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.
Gene VulgClem 48:7  Mihi enim, quando veniebam de Mesopotamia, mortua est Rachel in terra Chanaan in ipso itinere, eratque vernum tempus : et ingrediebar Ephratam, et sepelivi eam juxta viam Ephratæ, quæ alio nomine appellatur Bethlehem.

Gene KJV 48:9  And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
Gene CzeCEP 48:9  Josef otci odvětil: „To jsou moji synové, které mi zde Bůh dal.“ Otec řekl: „Nuže, přiveď je ke mně, abych jim požehnal.“

Gene DRC 48:10  For Israel's eyes were dim by reason of his great age, and he could not see clearly. And when they were brought to him, he kissed and embraced them,
Gene KJV 48:10  Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.

Gene DRC 48:11  And said to his son: I am not deprived of seeing thee; moreover God hath shewn me thy seed.
Gene KJV 48:11  And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.
