RKJNT - II Corinthians - 6

6:1  We then, as workers together with him, urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

6:2  (For he says, I have heard you at the acceptable time, and on the day of salvation I have helped you: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

6:3  We give no offence in anything, that the ministry may not be discredited:

6:4  But as the ministers of God we commend ourselves in all things; in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distress,

6:5  In beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in sleeplessness, in hunger;

6:6  By purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love,

6:7  By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left,

6:8  In honour and dishonour, in evil report and good report: regarded as deceivers, and yet true;

6:9  As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, yet, behold, we live; as chastened, and yet not killed;

6:10  As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

6:11  O Corinthians, we have spoken freely to you, our hearts are open wide.

6:12  There is no restraint in our affection for you, but you are restrained in your affection for us.

6:13  As a fair exchange, (I speak as to children,) widen your hearts also.

6:14  Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what partnership does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what fellowship has light with darkness?

6:15  And what harmony has Christ with Belial? or what does he who believes have in common with an unbeliever?

6:16  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for we are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will live in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

6:17  Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will welcome you,

6:18  And will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
