Chapter 45
Psal DRC 45:1  Unto the end, for the sons of Core, for the hidden.
Psal KJV 45:1  My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psal VulgClem 45:1  In finem, filiis Core, pro arcanis. Psalmus.
Psal DRC 45:2  Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly.
Psal KJV 45:2  Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
Psal VulgClem 45:2  Deus noster refugium et virtus ; adjutor in tribulationibus quæ invenerunt nos nimis.
Psal DRC 45:3  Therefore we will not fear, when the earth shall be troubled; and the mountains shall be removed into the heart of the sea.
Psal KJV 45:3  Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
Psal VulgClem 45:3  Propterea non timebimus dum turbabitur terra, et transferentur montes in cor maris.
Psal DRC 45:4  Their waters roared and were troubled: the mountains were troubled with his strength.
Psal KJV 45:4  And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Psal VulgClem 45:4  Sonuerunt, et turbatæ sunt aquæ eorum ; conturbati sunt montes in fortitudine ejus.
Psal DRC 45:5  The stream of the river maketh the city of God joyful: the most High hath sanctified his own tabernacle.
Psal KJV 45:5  Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
Psal VulgClem 45:5  Fluminis impetus lætificat civitatem Dei : sanctificavit tabernaculum suum Altissimus.
Psal DRC 45:6  God is in the midst thereof, it shall not be moved: God will help it in the morning early.
Psal KJV 45:6  Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Psal VulgClem 45:6  Deus in medio ejus, non commovebitur ; adjuvabit eam Deus mane diluculo.
Psal DRC 45:7  Nations were troubled, and kingdoms were bowed down: he uttered his voice, the earth trembled.
Psal KJV 45:7  Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Psal VulgClem 45:7  Conturbatæ sunt gentes, et inclinata sunt regna : dedit vocem suam, mota est terra.
Psal DRC 45:8  The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector.
Psal KJV 45:8  All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
Psal VulgClem 45:8  Dominus virtutum nobiscum ; susceptor noster Deus Jacob.
Psal DRC 45:9  Come and behold ye the works of the Lord: what wonders he hath done upon earth,
Psal KJV 45:9  Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
Psal VulgClem 45:9  Venite, et videte opera Domini, quæ posuit prodigia super terram,
Psal DRC 45:10  Making wars to cease even to the end of the earth. He shall destroy the bow, and break the weapons: and the shield he shall burn in the fire.
Psal KJV 45:10  Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;
Psal VulgClem 45:10  auferens bella usque ad finem terræ. Arcum conteret, et confringet arma, et scuta comburet igni.
Psal DRC 45:11  Be still and see that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, and I will be exalted in the earth.
Psal KJV 45:11  So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
Psal VulgClem 45:11  Vacate, et videte quoniam ego sum Deus ; exaltabor in gentibus, et exaltabor in terra.
Psal DRC 45:12  The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector.
Psal KJV 45:12  And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

Psal KJV 45:13  The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

Psal KJV 45:14  She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

Psal KJV 45:15  With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
