Chapter 86
Psal DRC 86:1  For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are the holy mountains:
Psal VulgClem 86:1  Filiis Core. Psalmus cantici. Fundamenta ejus in montibus sanctis ;
Psal KJV 86:1  Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
Psal DRC 86:2  The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Psal VulgClem 86:2  diligit Dominus portas Sion super omnia tabernacula Jacob.
Psal KJV 86:2  Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Psal DRC 86:3  Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.
Psal VulgClem 86:3  Gloriosa dicta sunt de te, civitas Dei !
Psal KJV 86:3  Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
Psal DRC 86:4  I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there.
Psal VulgClem 86:4  Memor ero Rahab et Babylonis, scientium me ; ecce alienigenæ, et Tyrus, et populus Æthiopum, hi fuerunt illic.
Psal KJV 86:4  Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Psal DRC 86:5  Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.
Psal VulgClem 86:5  Numquid Sion dicet : Homo et homo natus est in ea, et ipse fundavit eam Altissimus ?
Psal KJV 86:5  For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psal DRC 86:6  The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.
Psal VulgClem 86:6  Dominus narrabit in scripturis populorum et principum, horum qui fuerunt in ea.
Psal KJV 86:6  Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
Psal DRC 86:7  The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing.
Psal VulgClem 86:7  Sicut lætantium omnium habitatio est in te.
Psal KJV 86:7  In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

Psal KJV 86:8  Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

Psal KJV 86:9  All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Psal KJV 86:11  Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Psal KJV 86:12  I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Psal KJV 86:13  For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Psal KJV 86:14  O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

Psal KJV 86:15  But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Psal KJV 86:16  O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

Psal KJV 86:17  Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
