9:1  Slyš, Izraeli, dnes se chystáš přejít Jordán, abys ovládl národy větší a mocnější, než jsi ty: veliká města opevněná až k nebi,

9:1  Slyš, Izraeli, ⌈teď projdeš⌉ Jordánem, abys šel obsadit národy větší a mocnější než jsi ty, města velká a opevněná až k nebesům.

9:2  A people great and tall, the sons of the Enacims, whom thou hast seen, and heard of, against whom no man is able to stand.

9:2  veliký a vysoký lid, Anákovce, o kterých víš. Slyšel jsi o nich úsloví: „Kdo se postaví proti Anákovcům?“

9:2  mohutný a početný lid, Anakovce, o kterých víš a o nichž jsi slyšel: „Kdo obstojí proti synům Anakovým?“

9:2  Potomci Anákovců jsou lidem velkým a vysokým; ⌈víš přece a slyšel jsi⌉ říkat: Kdo se může postavit proti synům Anákovým?

9:3  Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.

9:3  Dnes poznáš, že Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, který jde před tebou, je jako sžírající oheň. On je vyhladí a on je před tebou pokoří, takže si je podrobíš a rychle je vyhubíš, jak ti Hospodin slíbil.

9:3  Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God [is] he who goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said to thee.

9:3  Know therefore this day, that the Lord your God is he who goes over before you as a devouring fire; he will destroy them, and he will bring them down before you: so you shall drive them out, and make them to perish quickly, as the Lord has spoken to you.

9:4  Say not in thy heart, when the Lord thy God shall have destroyed them in thy sight: For my justice hath the Lord brought me in to possess this land, whereas these nations are destroyed for their wickedness.

9:4  Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the Lord hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee.

9:4  Neříkej si však v srdci, až je Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, před tebou vypudí: „Pro mou spravedlnost mě Hospodin přivedl, abych obsadil tuto zemi.“ Vždyť tyto pronárody vyhání před tebou pro jejich zvůli.

9:4  Až je však Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, před tebou zažene, neříkej si v srdci: „To pro mou spravedlnost mě Hospodin dovedl až sem, abych tu zemi obsadil.“ Hospodin ty národy před tebou vyhání pro jejich zkaženost!

9:4  Až je Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, před tebou vypudí, neříkej si v srdci: Pro mou spravedlnost mě Hospodin přivedl, abych obsadil tuto zemi. Pro ničemnost těchto národů je Hospodin před tebou vyhání.

9:4  Neříkejž v srdci svém, když by je zapudil Hospodin Bůh tvůj od tváři tvé, řka: Pro spravedlnost mou uvedl mne Hospodin, abych dědičně obdržel zemi tuto, tak jako pro bezbožnost národů těch Hospodin vyhnal je od tváři tvé.

9:4  Speak not thou in thy heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.

9:4  Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out from before you, saying, "For my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land"; because the Lord drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.

9:4  Speak not you in your heart, after that the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD does drive them out from before you.

9:4  ne dicas in corde tuo, cum deleverit eos Dominus Deus tuus in conspectu tuo : Propter justitiam meam introduxit me Dominus ut terram hanc possiderem, cum propter impietates suas istæ deletæ sint nationes.

9:5  For it is not for thy justices, and the uprightness of thy heart that thou shalt go in to possess their lands: but because they have done wickedly, they are destroyed at thy coming in: and that the Lord might accomplish his word, which he promised by oath to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

9:5  Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

9:5  Přicházíš obsadit jejich zemi ne pro svou spravedlnost a přímost svého srdce. Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, vyhání před tebou tyto pronárody pro jejich zvůli a proto, aby splnil, co přísahal Hospodin tvým otcům, Abrahamovi, Izákovi a Jákobovi.

9:5  Ne pro svou spravedlnost a ne pro ryzost svého srdce vstupuješ do jejich země, abys ji obsadil. Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, ty národy před tebou vyhání pro jejich zkaženost a proto, aby splnil slovo, které odpřisáhl tvým otcům, Abrahamovi, Izákovi a Jákobovi.

9:5  Ne pro svou spravedlnost a přímost svého srdce jdeš obsadit jejich zemi, ale pro ničemnost těchto národů je Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, před tebou vyhání a aby se naplnilo slovo, které Hospodin odpřisáhl tvým otcům, Abrahamovi, Izákovi a Jákobovi.

9:5  Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thy heart dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations, the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore to thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

9:6  Know therefore that the Lord thy God giveth thee not this excellent land in possession for thy justices, for thou art a very stiffnecked people.

9:6  Věz tedy, že ne pro tvou spravedlnost ti Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, dává tuto dobrou zemi, abys ji obsadil, neboť jsi lid tvrdé šíje.

9:6  Věz tedy, že Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, ti tu krásnou zem nedává za dědictví pro tvou spravedlnost – jste přece tvrdošíjný lid!

9:6  Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou [art] a stiff-necked people.

9:7  Remember, [and] forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart from the land of Egypt, until ye came to this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

9:12  And the Lord said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

9:12  A Hospodin mi poručil: „Vstaň a rychle odtud sestup, neboť tvůj lid, který jsi vyvedl z Egypta, se vrhá do zkázy. Brzo sešli z cesty, kterou jsem jim přikázal, odlili si modlu.“

9:12  Potom mi Hospodin řekl: „Hned sestup dolů! Tvůj lid, který jsi vyvedl z Egypta, spáchal zvrácenost. Brzy sešli z cesty, kterou jsem jim přikázal: odlili si modlu!“

9:12  And the LORD said to me, Arise, go down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted [themselves]; they are quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

9:12  The Lord said to me, "Arise, get down quickly from here; for your people whom you have brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they have quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image."
