6:15  Za časného jitra vstal sluha muže Božího, vyšel ven, a hle, vojsko s koni a vozy obkličovalo město. Mládenec Elíšovi řekl: „Běda, můj pane, co teď budeme dělat?“

6:15  Ráno sluha Božího muže vstal, vyšel ven a hle – kolem celého města vojsko, koně a vozy! „Ach, můj pane,“ řekl mládenec Elíšovi, „co si počneme?“

Šetřtež, když by vcházel ten posel, zavřete dvéře a odstrčte jej ode dveří. Zdaliž i dusání noh pána jeho není za ním?

6:33  While he was yet speaking to them, the messenger appeared, who was coming to him. And he said: Behold, so great an evil is from the Lord: what shall I look for more from the Lord?

6:33  While he was still talking with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. Then he said, "Behold, this disaster is from the Lord. Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?"

6:33  And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down to him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?

6:33  Adhuc illo loquente eis, apparuit nuntius qui veniebat ad eum. Et ait : Ecce, tantum malum a Domino est : quid amplius expectabo a Domino ?
