14:5  And the LORD said to Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he [is] sick: thus and thus shalt thou say to her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she will feign herself [to be] another [woman].

14:9  Ale zlost jsi páchal hojněji nade všecky, kteříž byli před tebou; nebo odšed, učinils sobě bohy cizí a slité, abys mne dráždil, mne pak zavrhl jsi za hřbet svůj:

14:10  Proto uvedu na Jarobeámův dům zlo. Vyhladím Jarobeámovi toho, jenž močí na stěnu, a v Izraeli zajatého i zanechaného. Vymetu Jarobeámův dům tak dokonale, jako se vymetá mrva.

14:10  hle, já uvedu na dům Jeroboámův zlé věci: Vyhladím Jeroboámovi v Izraeli pána i kmána až do posledního pacholka. Jako se od hnoje zametá brána, vymetu jeho dům dočista.

14:10  Proto hle, přivedu zlo na dům Jarobeámův a vyhladím Jarobeámovi ⌈močícího na stěnu,⌉ ⌈zadržovaného i propuštěného⌉ v Izraeli, vyhladím potomky domu Jarobeámova tak, jako se uklízejí výkaly, zcela je vyhladím.

14:10  Protož aj, já uvedu zlé věci na dům Jeroboámův, a vyhladím z Jeroboáma, i toho, jenž močí na stěnu, i zajatého i zanechaného v Izraeli, a vyvrhu ostatky domu Jeroboámova, jako hnůj vymítán bývá až dočista.

14:10  Therefore behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam the males, [and] him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it is all gone.

14:10  therefore, behold, I will bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam everyone who urinates on a wall, he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweeps away dung, until it is all gone.

14:11  Them that shall die of Jeroboam in the city, the dogs shall eat: and them that shall die in the field, the birds of the air shall devour: for the Lord hath spoken it.

14:13  Všechen Izrael bude nad ním naříkat a pohřbí je. Jen ono samotné z Jarobeámova rodu přijde do hrobu, protože z Jarobeámova domu jen na něm nalezl Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, něco dobrého.

14:13  Celý Izrael ho bude oplakávat, až ho budou pohřbívat. On bude z Jeroboámova domu jediný, kdo bude pochován v hrobě, neboť je jediný, na kom Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, nalezl něco dobrého.

14:14  Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
