Job DRC 18:1  Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and said:
Job VulgClem 18:1  Respondens autem Baldad Suhites, dixit :
Job KJV 18:1  Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
Job DRC 18:2  How long will you throw out words? understand first, and so let us speak.
Job KJV 18:2  How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
Job DRC 18:3  Why are we reputed as beasts, and counted vile before you?
Job KJV 18:3  Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Job DRC 18:4  Thou that destroyest thy soul in thy fury, shall the earth be forsaken for thee, and shall rocks be removed out of their place?
Job VulgClem 18:4  Qui perdis animam tuam in furore tuo, numquid propter te derelinquetur terra, et transferentur rupes de loco suo ?
Job KJV 18:4  He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
Job DRC 18:5  Shall not the light of the wicked be extinguished, and the flame of his fire not shine?
Job VulgClem 18:5  Nonne lux impii extinguetur, nec splendebit flamma ignis ejus ?
Job KJV 18:5  Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
Job DRC 18:6  The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and the lamp that is over him, shall be put out.
Job VulgClem 18:6  Lux obtenebrescet in tabernaculo illius, et lucerna quæ super eum est extinguetur.
Job KJV 18:6  The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
Job DRC 18:7  The step of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down headlong.
Job VulgClem 18:7  Arctabuntur gressus virtutis ejus, et præcipitabit eum consilium suum.
Job KJV 18:7  The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
Job DRC 18:8  For he hath thrust his feet into a net, and walketh in its meshes.
Job KJV 18:8  For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
Job DRC 18:9  The sole of his foot shall be held in a snare, and thirst shall burn against him.
Job VulgClem 18:9  Tenebitur planta illius laqueo, et exardescet contra eum sitis.
Job KJV 18:9  The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
Job DRC 18:10  A gin is hidden for him in the earth, and his trap upon the path.
Job VulgClem 18:10  Abscondita est in terra pedica ejus, et decipula illius super semitam.
Job KJV 18:10  The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
Job DRC 18:11  Fears shall terrify him on every side, and shall entangle his feet.
Job VulgClem 18:11  Undique terrebunt eum formidines, et involvent pedes ejus.
Job KJV 18:11  Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Job DRC 18:12  Let his strength be wasted with famine, and let hunger invade his ribs.
Job VulgClem 18:12  Attenuetur fame robur ejus, et inedia invadat costas illius.
Job KJV 18:12  His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
Job DRC 18:13  Let it devour the beauty of his skin, let the firstborn death consume his arms.
Job VulgClem 18:13  Devoret pulchritudinem cutis ejus ; consumat brachia illius primogenita mors.
Job KJV 18:13  It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
Job DRC 18:14  Let his confidence be rooted out of his tabernacle, and let destruction tread upon him like a king.
Job VulgClem 18:14  Avellatur de tabernaculo suo fiducia ejus, et calcet super eum, quasi rex, interitus.
Job KJV 18:14  His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
Job DRC 18:15  Let the companions of him that is not, dwell in his tabernacle, let brimstone be sprinkled in his tent.
Job KJV 18:15  It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
Job DRC 18:16  Let his roots be dried up beneath, and his harvest destroyed above.
Job VulgClem 18:16  Deorsum radices ejus siccentur : sursum autem atteratur messis ejus.
Job KJV 18:16  His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
Job DRC 18:17  Let the memory of him perish from the earth, and let not his name be renowned in the streets.
Job KJV 18:17  His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
Job DRC 18:18  He shall drive him out of light into darkness, and shall remove him out of the world.
Job KJV 18:18  He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
Job DRC 18:19  His seed shall not subsist, nor his offspring among his people, nor any remnants in his country.
Job VulgClem 18:19  Non erit semen ejus, neque progenies in populo suo, nec ullæ reliquiæ in regionibus ejus.
Job KJV 18:19  He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
Job DRC 18:20  They that come after him shall be astonished at his day, and horror shall fall upon them that went before.
Job VulgClem 18:20  In die ejus stupebunt novissimi, et primos invadet horror.
Job KJV 18:20  They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Job DRC 18:21  These then are the tabernacles of the wicked, and this the place of him that knoweth not God.
Job KJV 18:21  Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
