20:2  Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: If any man of the children Israel, or of the strangers that dwell in Israel, give of his seed to the idol Moloch, dying let him die. The people of the land shall stone him.

20:2  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

20:2  „Řekni Izraelcům: Kdokoli z Izraelců i z těch, kdo budou v Izraeli přebývat jako hosté, by daroval Molekovi někoho ze svých potomků, musí zemřít; lid země ho ukamenuje.

20:3  Já sám se obrátím proti tomu muži a vyobcuji jej ze společenství jeho lidu, neboť daroval někoho ze svých potomků Molekovi, a tak znečistil mou svatyni a znesvětil mé svaté jméno.

20:3  Já sám se postavím proti takovému člověku a vyvrhnu jej z jeho lidu. Když daroval své dítě Molochovi, poskvrnil mou svatyni a znesvětil mé svaté jméno!

20:3  A já obrátím svou tvář proti takovému člověku a vyhladím jej zprostřed jeho lidu, neboť vydal někoho ze svého potomstva Molekovi, a tak znečistil mou svatyni a znesvětil mé svaté jméno.

20:3  Nebo já postavím tvář svou proti takovému, a vyhladím ho z prostředku lidu jeho, proto že z semene svého dal modle Moloch, a tak zprznil svatyni mou, a poškvrnil jména svatosti mé.

20:3  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

20:4  And if the people of the land neglecting, and as it were little regarding my commandment, let alone the man that hath given of his seed to Moloch, and will not kill him:

20:4  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

20:4  Jestliže lid země přivře oči, aby neviděl, že ten muž daroval někoho ze svých potomků Molekovi, a nepotrestá ho smrtí,

20:4  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed to Molech, and kill him not;

20:5  I will set my face against that man, and his kindred, and will cut off both him and all that consented with him, to commit fornication with Moloch, out of the midst of their people.

20:5  postavím se sám proti tomu muži i proti jeho čeledi a vyobcuji jej ze společenství jejich lidu se všemi, kdo ho v tom smilstvu následovali a také smilnili s Molekem.

20:5  já sám se postavím proti takovému člověku i proti jeho rodině. Jeho i všechny, kdo jej v tom smilstvu následovali a smilnili s Molochem, vyvrhnu z jejich lidu.

20:5  obrátím svou tvář proti tomu muži a proti jeho čeledi já a vyhladím zprostřed jejich lidu jej i všechny, kdo smilnili s ním tím, že smilnili s Molekem.

20:5  Tedy já postavím tvář svou proti muži tomu a proti čeledi jeho, a vyhladím ho i všecky, kteříž smilníce, odcházeli po něm, aby smilnili, následujíce Molocha, z prostředku lidu jeho.

20:5  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go astray after him, to commit lewdness with Molech from among their people.

20:6  The soul that shall go aside after magicians, and soothsayers, and shall commit fornication with them: I will set my face against that soul, and destroy it out of the midst of its people.

20:6  Kdyby se někdo uchyloval k duchům zemřelých a k vědmám, aby s nimi smilnil, proti takovému se obrátím a vyobcuji jej ze společenství jeho lidu.

20:6  Kdo by se obrátil k vyvolávačům duchů a věštkyním, aby je následoval v jejich smilstvu, postavím se proti němu a vyvrhnu jej z jeho lidu.

20:6  A jestliže se nějaký člověk obrátí k duchům zemřelých a věštcům, aby s nimi smilnil, proti takovému člověku obrátím svou tvář a vyhladím jej zprostřed jeho lidu.

20:6  Duše, kteráž by se obrátila k hadačům a věšťcům, aby smilnila, postupujíc po nich: postavím tvář svou proti duši té, a vyhladím ji z prostředku lidu jejího.

20:6  And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go astray after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

20:9  Kdo by zlořečil svému otci nebo své matce, musí zemřít. Svému otci a matce zlořečil, jeho krev padni na něho.

20:10  Kdo se dopustí cizoložství s ženou někoho jiného, kdo cizoloží s ženou svého bližního, musí zemřít, cizoložník i cizoložnice.

20:10  Kdokoli by cizoložil s manželkou svého bližního, musí zemřít – jak cizoložník, tak cizoložnice.

20:10  Kdyby někdo zcizoložil s provdanou ženou, ⌈kdyby někdo zcizoložil s ženou⌉ svého bližního, jistě bude usmrcen -- cizoložník i cizoložnice.

20:10  Muž pak, kterýž by se cizoložství dopustil s ženou něčí, že zcizoložil s ženou bližního svého, smrtí umře cizoložník ten i cizoložnice.

20:10  And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man's wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

20:11  If a man lie with his stepmother, and discover the nakedness of his father, let them both be put to death: their blood be upon them.

20:11  A kdož by koli obcoval s ženou otce svého, hanbu otce svého odkryl. Smrtí umrou oba dva, krev jejich bude na ně.

20:14  Kdyby někdo pojal ženu a zároveň i její matku, spáchal mrzký čin. Budou upáleni, muž i ty ženy, aby nedocházelo mezi vámi k mrzkým činům.

20:14  Kdokoli by si vzal ženu i její matku, je to zvrhlost. Ať ho spolu s nimi upálí – zvrhlost ve svém středu netrpte!

20:14  Kdyby si muž vzal ženu a její matku, je to hanebnost. Ohněm budou spáleni on i ony, aby nebyla hanebnost ve vašem středu.

20:14  A kdož by vzal ženu a matku její, nešlechetnost jest. Ohněm spálí i jej i je, aby nebylo nešlechetností u prostřed vás.

20:14  And if a man shall take a wife and her mother, it [is] wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they: that there be no wickedness among you.

20:14  Qui supra uxorem filiam, duxerit matrem ejus, scelus operatus est : vivus ardebit cum eis, nec permanebit tantum nefas in medio vestri.

20:15  He that shall copulate with any beast or cattle, dying let him die: the beast also ye shall kill.

20:15  And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

20:15  Kdyby muž obcoval s dobytčetem, musí zemřít. Dobytče zabijete.

20:15  Kdokoli by obcoval se zvířetem, musí zemřít. Rovněž to zvíře zabijte.

20:15  Kdyby měl muž pohlavní styk se zvířetem, jistě bude usmrcen a to zvíře zabijete.

20:15  Kdož by pak obcoval s hovadem, smrtí umře, a hovado zabijete.

20:16  Kdyby se žena přiblížila k nějakému dobytčeti, aby se s ní pářilo, zabijete ženu i dobytče. Musejí zemřít, jejich krev padni na ně.

20:16  Kdyby žena přistoupila ke zvířeti, aby se s ní pářilo, pak tu ženu i zvíře zabij. Musejí zemřít – jejich krev ať padne na ně!

20:16  Kdyby se žena přiblížila k jakémukoliv zvířeti, aby s ním obcovala, zabiješ tu ženu i to zvíře. Jistě budou usmrceni, jejich krev je na nich.

20:16  Tolikéž žena, kteráž by přistoupila k některému hovadu, aby obcovala s ním, zabiješ ji i to hovado. Smrtí umrou, krev jejich bude na ně.

20:16  And if a woman shall approach to any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman and the beast; they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

20:17  If any man take his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother, and see her nakedness, and she behold her brother's shame: they have committed a crime. They shall be slain, in the sight of their people, because they have discovered one another's nakedness. And they shall bear their iniquity.

20:17  Kdyby si někdo vzal svou sestru, dceru svého otce nebo své matky, aby spatřil její nahotu a ona spatřila jeho nahotu, je to potupa; budou vyobcováni před zraky synů svého lidu. Odkryl nahotu své sestry, ponese následky své nepravosti.

20:17  Kdokoli by vzal svou sestru, ať už dceru svého otce nebo své matky, a obcoval s ní a ona s ním, je to hanebnost. Musí být zavrženi před očima synů svého lidu. Obcoval se svou sestrou – ponese za to vinu.

20:17  Kdyby si muž vzal svou sestru, dceru svého otce nebo své matky, viděl by její nahotu a ona by viděla jeho nahotu, je to hanba. Před očima synů svého lidu budou vyhlazeni. Odhalil nahotu své sestry, ponese svou vinu.

20:17  Kdož by koli vezma sestru svou, dceru otce svého, aneb dceru matky své, viděl by hanbu její, a ona také viděla by hanbu jeho, mrzkost jest. Protož vyhlazeni budou před očima synů lidu svého; nebo hanbu sestry své odkryl, nepravost svou ponese.

20:17  And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it [is] a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

20:18  If any man lie with a woman in her flowers, and uncover her nakedness, and she open the fountain of her blood: both shall be destroyed out of the midst of their people.
