Chapter 82
Psal DRC 82:1  A canticle of a psalm for Asaph.
Psal VulgClem 82:1  Canticum Psalmi Asaph.
Psal KJV 82:1  God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
Psal DRC 82:2  O God, who shall be like to thee? hold not thy peace, neither be thou still, O God.
Psal VulgClem 82:2  Deus, quis similis erit tibi ? ne taceas, neque compescaris, Deus :
Psal KJV 82:2  How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
Psal DRC 82:3  For lo, thy enemies have made a noise: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Psal VulgClem 82:3  quoniam ecce inimici tui sonuerunt, et qui oderunt te extulerunt caput.
Psal KJV 82:3  Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Psal DRC 82:4  They have taken a malicious counsel against thy people, and have consulted against thy saints.
Psal VulgClem 82:4  Super populum tuum malignaverunt consilium, et cogitaverunt adversus sanctos tuos.
Psal KJV 82:4  Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psal DRC 82:5  They have said: Come and let us destroy them, so that they be not a nation: and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.
Psal VulgClem 82:5  Dixerunt : Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente, et non memoretur nomen Israël ultra.
Psal KJV 82:5  They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Psal KJV 82:6  I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Psal DRC 82:7  The tabernacle of the Edomites, and the Ishmahelites: Moab, and the Agarens,

Psal KJV 82:7  But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Psal DRC 82:8  Gebal, and Ammon and Amalec: the Philistines, with the inhabitants of Tyre.

Psal KJV 82:8  Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Psal DRC 82:12  Make their princes like Oreb, and Zeb, and Zebee, and Salmana. All their princes,

Psal DRC 82:13  Who have said: Let us possess the sanctuary of God for an inheritance.

Psal DRC 82:14  O my God, make them like a wheel; and as stubble before the wind.

Psal DRC 82:15  As fire which burneth the wood: and as a flame burning mountains:
Psal VulgClem 82:15  Sicut ignis qui comburit silvam, et sicut flamma comburens montes,

Psal DRC 82:16  So shalt thou pursue them with thy tempest: and shalt trouble them in thy wrath.

Psal DRC 82:17  Fill their faces with shame; and they shall seek thy name, O Lord.

Psal DRC 82:18  Let them be ashamed and troubled for ever and ever: and let them be confounded and perish.

Psal DRC 82:19  And let them know that the Lord is thy name: thou alone art the most High over all the earth.
