Ephe DRC 2:2  Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief:
Ephe VulgClem 2:2  in quibus aliquando ambulastis secundum sæculum mundi hujus, secundum principem potestatis aëris hujus, spiritus, qui nunc operatur in filios diffidentiæ,
Ephe KJV 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Ephe DRC 2:3  In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:
Ephe VulgClem 2:3  in quibus et nos omnes aliquando conversati sumus in desideriis carnis nostræ, facientes voluntatem carnis et cogitationum, et eramus natura filii iræ, sicut et ceteri :
Ephe KJV 2:3  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Ephe DRC 2:4  But God (who is rich in mercy) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us
Ephe KJV 2:4  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Ephe DRC 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ (by whose grace you are saved)
Ephe VulgClem 2:5  et cum essemus mortui peccatis, convivificavit nos in Christo (cujus gratia estis salvati),
Ephe KJV 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephe DRC 2:6  And hath raised us up together and hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus.
Ephe VulgClem 2:6  et conresuscitavit, et consedere fecit in cælestibus in Christo Jesu :
Ephe KJV 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Ephe DRC 2:7  That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.
Ephe VulgClem 2:7  ut ostenderet in sæculis supervenientibus abundantes divitias gratiæ suæ, in bonitate super nos in Christo Jesu.
Ephe KJV 2:7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Ephe DRC 2:8  For by grace you are saved through faith: and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God.
Ephe KJV 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephe DRC 2:9  Not of works, that no man may glory.
Ephe KJV 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephe DRC 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
Ephe VulgClem 2:10  Ipsius enim sumus factura, creati in Christo Jesu in operibus bonis, quæ præparavit Deus ut in illis ambulemus.
Ephe KJV 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephe DRC 2:11  For which cause be mindful that you, being heretofore gentiles is the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh, made by hands:
Ephe VulgClem 2:11  Propter quod memores estote quod aliquando vos gentes in carne, qui dicimini præputium ab ea quæ dicitur circumcisio in carne, manu facta :
Ephe KJV 2:11  Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Ephe DRC 2:12  That you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the conversation of Israel and strangers to the testament, having no hope of the promise and without God in this world.
Ephe KJV 2:12  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Ephe DRC 2:13  But now in Christ Jesus, you, who some time were afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Ephe VulgClem 2:13  Nunc autem in Christo Jesu, vos, qui aliquando eratis longe, facti estis prope in sanguine Christi.
Ephe KJV 2:13  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Ephe DRC 2:14  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:
Ephe VulgClem 2:14  Ipse enim est pax nostra, qui fecit utraque unum, et medium parietem maceriæ solvens, inimicitias in carne sua,
Ephe KJV 2:14  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephe DRC 2:15  Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees: that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace
Ephe VulgClem 2:15  legem mandatorum decretis evacuans, ut duos condat in semetipso in unum novum hominem, faciens pacem :
Ephe KJV 2:15  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Ephe DRC 2:16  And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.
Ephe VulgClem 2:16  et reconciliet ambos in uno corpore, Deo per crucem, interficiens inimicitias in semetipso.
Ephe KJV 2:16  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Ephe DRC 2:17  And coming, he preached peace to you that were afar off: and peace to them that were nigh.

Ephe DRC 2:19  Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners: but you are fellow citizens with the saints and the domestics of God,
Ephe KJV 2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Ephe DRC 2:20  Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:
Ephe VulgClem 2:20  superædificati super fundamentum apostolorum, et prophetarum, ipso summo angulari lapide Christo Jesu :
