HEBREWS
Chapter 3
Hebr | Common | 3:1 | Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.
Hebr | Common | 3:2 | He was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house.
Hebr | Common | 3:3 | Yet Jesus has been counted worthy of as much more glory than Moses as the builder of a house has more honor than the house.
Hebr | Common | 3:5 | Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,
Hebr | Common | 3:6 | but Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold fast to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.
Hebr | Common | 3:8 | do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,
Hebr | Common | 3:10 | Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their hearts; and they have not known my ways.’
Hebr | Common | 3:12 | Take care, brethren, lest there be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
Hebr | Common | 3:13 | But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
Hebr | Common | 3:14 | For we have come to share in Christ if we hold our first confidence firm to the end,
Hebr | Common | 3:15 | while it is said, "Today, if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."
Hebr | Common | 3:16 | Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
Hebr | Common | 3:17 | And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
Hebr | Common | 3:18 | And to whom did he swear that they would never enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
