Chapter 8
Dani DRC 8:1  In the third year of the reign of king Baltasar, a vision appeared to me. I, Daniel, after what I had seen in the beginning,
Dani KJV 8:1  In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
Dani Webster 8:1  In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, [even to] me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.
Dani NHEB 8:1  In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me previously.
Dani AKJV 8:1  In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, even to me Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.
Dani VulgClem 8:1  Anno tertio regni Baltassar regis, visio apparuit mihi. Ego Daniel, post id quod videram in principio,
Dani DRC 8:2  Saw in my vision when I was in the castle of Susa, which is in the province of Elam: and I saw in the vision that I was over the gate of Ulai.
Dani KJV 8:2  And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
Dani Webster 8:2  And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I [was] at Shushan [in] the palace, which [is] in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
Dani NHEB 8:2  And I saw in the vision, and when I looked, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam. And I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
Dani AKJV 8:2  And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
Dani DRC 8:3  And I lifted up my eyes, and saw: and behold a ram stood before the water, having two high horns, and one higher than the other, and growing up. Afterward
Dani KJV 8:3  Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Dani Webster 8:3  Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there stood before the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high; but one [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Dani NHEB 8:3  Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns. And the two horns were long, but one was longer than the other, and the longer one came up last.
Dani AKJV 8:3  Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Postea
Dani DRC 8:4  I saw the ram pushing with his horns against the west, and against the north, and against the south: and no beasts could withstand him, nor be delivered out of his hand: and he did according to his own will, and became great.
Dani KJV 8:4  I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
Dani CzeBKR 8:4  Viděl jsem skopce toho, an trkal k západu, půlnoci a poledni, jemuž žádná šelma odolati nemohla, aniž kdo co mohl vytrhnouti z moci jeho; pročež činil podlé vůle své, a to věci veliké.
Dani Webster 8:4  I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither [was there any] that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
Dani NHEB 8:4  I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; and no animals could stand before him, neither was there any who could deliver out of his hand. But he did according to his will, and became great.
Dani AKJV 8:4  I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
Dani DRC 8:5  And I understood: and behold a he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and he touched not the ground, and the he goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
Dani KJV 8:5  And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
Dani Webster 8:5  And as I was considering, behold, a he-goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.
Dani NHEB 8:5  As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west over the surface of the whole earth, and did not touch the ground. And the goat had a prominent horn between his eyes.
Dani AKJV 8:5  And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
Dani DRC 8:6  And he went up to the ram that had the horns, which I had seen standing before the gate, and he ran towards him in the force of his strength.
Dani KJV 8:6  And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
Dani Webster 8:6  And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran to him in the fury of his power.
Dani NHEB 8:6  He came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and rushed at him in the fury of his power.
Dani AKJV 8:6  And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran to him in the fury of his power.
Dani VulgClem 8:6  Et venit usque ad arietem illum cornutum, quem videram stantem ante portam, et cucurrit ad eum in impetu fortitudinis suæ.
Dani DRC 8:7  And when he was come near the ram, he was enraged against him, and struck the ram: and broke his two horns, and the ram could not withstand him: and when he had cast him down on the ground, he stamped upon him, and none could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Dani KJV 8:7  And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Dani Webster 8:7  And I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and smote the ram, and broke his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Dani NHEB 8:7  I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns. And there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he threw him down to the ground and trampled on him, and there was no one who could deliver the ram from his power.
Dani AKJV 8:7  And I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and broke his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped on him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Dani DRC 8:8  And the he goat became exceeding great: and when he was grown, the great horn was broken, and there came up four horns under it towards the four winds of heaven.
Dani KJV 8:8  Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
Dani CzeCEP 8:8  Kozel se velice vzmohl. Když byl na vrcholu moci, zlomil se ten velký roh a místo něho vyrostly čtyři nápadné rohy do čtyř nebeských větrů.
Dani CzeB21 8:8  Kozel mohutněl dál a dál.
Dani Webster 8:8  Therefore the he-goat became very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and in its stead came up four notable ones towards the four winds of heaven.
Dani NHEB 8:8  The male goat became very strong. But when he was strong, the large horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four prominent horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Dani AKJV 8:8  Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
Dani DRC 8:9  And out of one of them came forth a little horn: and it became great against the south, and against the east, and against the strength.
Dani KJV 8:9  And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
Dani CzeCSP 8:9  Pak z jedné z nich vyrazil jakýsi nepatrný roh, ale neobyčejně vzrostl k jihu i k východu i k Ozdobě.
Dani CzeBKR 8:9  Z těch pak jednoho vyšel roh jeden maličký, a zrostl velmi ku poledni a východu, a k zemi Judské.
Dani Webster 8:9  And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which became exceeding great, towards the south, and towards the east, and towards the pleasant [land].
Dani NHEB 8:9  Out of one of them came forth a little horn, which grew exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the beautiful land.
Dani AKJV 8:9  And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
Dani DRC 8:10  And it was magnified even unto the strength of heaven: and it threw down of the strength, and of the stars, and trod upon them.
Dani KJV 8:10  And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
Dani Webster 8:10  And it grew great, [even] to the host of heaven; and it cast down [some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
Dani NHEB 8:10  It grew so great that it reached to the host of heaven, and some of the host and of the stars it cast down to the ground, and trampled on them.
Dani AKJV 8:10  And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped on them.
Dani DRC 8:11  And it was magnified even to the prince of the strength: and it took away from him the continual sacrifice, and cast down the place of his sanctuary.
Dani KJV 8:11  Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
Dani Webster 8:11  Yes, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily [sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
Dani NHEB 8:11  And it magnified itself, even against the Prince of the host; and it took away from him the daily sacrifice, and the place of his sanctuary was thrown down.
Dani AKJV 8:11  Yes, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.
Dani DRC 8:12  And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be cast down on the ground, and he shall do and shall prosper.
Dani KJV 8:12  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
Dani CzeB21 8:12  Vojsko i každodenní oběť mu při té vzpouře byly vydány do rukou.
Dani Webster 8:12  And a host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.
Dani NHEB 8:12  The host was given over to it together with the daily sacrifice because of transgression. And it cast down truth to the ground, and kept prospering.
Dani AKJV 8:12  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.
Dani DRC 8:13  And I heard one of the saints speaking, and one saint said to another I know not to whom, that was speaking: How long shall be the vision, concerning the continual sacrifice, and the sin of the desolation that is made: and the sanctuary, and the strength be trodden under foot?
Dani KJV 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dani Webster 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said to that certain [saint] who spoke, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dani NHEB 8:13  Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled?"
Dani AKJV 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said to that certain saint which spoke, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dani DRC 8:14  And he said to him: Unto evening and morning two thousand three hundred days: and the sanctuary shall be cleansed.
Dani KJV 8:14  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Dani CzeCEP 8:14  Řekl mi: „Až po dvou tisících a třech stech večerech a jitrech dojde svatyně spravedlnosti.“
Dani CzeB21 8:14  „Bude to 2300 večerů a jiter,“ odpověděl mu. „Pak bude svatyně znovu obnovena.“
Dani CzeCSP 8:14  A řekl mi: Až do večera i jitra dvoutisícího třístého, a napravena bude svatyně.
Dani CzeBKR 8:14  A řekli mi: Až do dvou tisíc a tří set večerů a jiter, a přijdou k obnovení svému svaté služby.
Dani Webster 8:14  And he said to me, Until two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Dani NHEB 8:14  He said to me, "To two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be restored to its rightful state."
Dani AKJV 8:14  And he said to me, To two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Dani DRC 8:15  And it came to pass when I, Daniel, saw the vision, and sought the meaning, that behold there stood before me as it were the appearance of a man.
Dani KJV 8:15  And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
Dani Webster 8:15  And it came to pass, when I, [even] I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
Dani NHEB 8:15  It came about when I, Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me someone who appeared to be a man.
