10:1  And the Lord said to Moses: Go in to Pharao; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants: that I may work these my signs in him,

10:1  And the Lord said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:

10:1  Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Předstup před faraóna. Já jsem totiž učinil jeho srdce i srdce jeho služebníků neoblomné, abych mohl uprostřed nich provést tato svá znamení

10:1  Tehdy Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: „Jdi k faraonovi. Zatvrdil jsem ho i jeho dvořany proto, abych uprostřed nich konal tato znamení.

10:1  Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: Jdi k faraonovi, protože já jsem zatvrdil srdce jeho i srdce jeho otroků, abych ⌈před ním⌉ učinil tato svá znamení

10:1  I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: Vejdi k Faraonovi, ačkoli jsem já obtížil srdce jeho, a srdce služebníků jeho, abych učinil divy tyto své u prostřed nich;

10:1  And the LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants; that I might show these my signs before him:

10:1  Et dixit Dominus ad Moysen : Ingredere ad Pharaonem : ego enim induravi cor ejus, et servorum illius, ut faciam signa mea hæc in eo :

10:2  And thou mayst tell in the ears of thy sons, and of thy grandsons, how often I have plagued the Egyptians, and wrought my signs amongst them: and you may know that I am the Lord.

10:2  And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord.

10:2  a ty abys mohl vypravovat svým synům i vnukům o tom, co jsem v Egyptě dokázal, i o znameních, která jsem mezi nimi udělal, ať víte, že já jsem Hospodin.“

10:2  et narres in auribus filii tui, et nepotum tuorum, quoties contriverim Ægyptios, et signa mea fecerim in eis : et sciatis quia ego Dominus.

10:3  Therefore Moses and Aaron went in to Pharao, and said to him: Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews: How long refusest thou to submit to me? let my people go, to sacrifice to me.

10:3  And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

10:3  Mojžíš a Áron tedy předstoupili před faraóna a řekli mu: „Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: Jak dlouho se budeš zdráhat pokořit se přede mnou? Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužil.

10:3  A tak šel Mojžíš s Áronem k faraonovi a řekli mu: „Takto praví Hospodin, Bůh Hebrejů: ‚Jak dlouho se budeš odmítat přede mnou pokořit? Propusť můj lid, aby mi sloužili.

10:3  And Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.

10:3  Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, "This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.

10:3  And Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus said the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

10:3  Introierunt ergo Moyses et Aaron ad Pharaonem, et dixerunt ei : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Hebræorum : Usquequo non vis subjici mihi ? dimitte populum meum, ut sacrificet mihi.

10:4  But if thou resist, and wilt not let them go, behold I will bring in to-morrow the locusts into thy coasts;

10:4  Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:

10:4  Budeš-li se zdráhat propustit můj lid, pak na tvé území uvedu zítra kobylky.

10:4  Pokud však můj lid odmítáš propustit, dávej pozor: Zítra přivedu na tvůj kraj kobylky.

10:4  Else, if thou shalt refuse to let my people go, behold, to-morrow will I bring the locusts into thy border:

10:4  Sin autem resistis, et non vis dimittere eum : ecce ego inducam cras locustam in fines tuos :

10:5  To cover the face of the earth, that nothing thereof may appear, but that which the hail hath left may be eaten: for they shall feed upon all the trees that spring in the fields.

10:5  And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:

10:5  Přikryjí povrch země, takže nebude možno zemi ani vidět, a sežerou zbytek toho, co vyvázlo, co vám zůstalo po krupobití. Ožerou také všechny stromy, které vám na polích znovu raší.

10:6  And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of thy servants, and of all the Egyptians: such a number as thy fathers have not seen, nor thy grandfathers, from the time they were first upon the earth, until this present day. And he turned himself away, and went forth from Pharao.

10:6  Naplní tvé domy, domy všech tvých služebníků i domy všech Egypťanů. Něco takového neviděli tvoji otcové ani dědové od doby, kdy začali obdělávat půdu, až dodnes.“ Nato se Mojžíš obrátil a odešel od faraóna.

10:6  Naplní tvé paláce, domy všech tvých dvořanů i domy všech Egypťanů. Tví otcové ani otcové tvých otců neviděli nic takového ode dne, kdy se ocitli na zemi, až dodnes!‘“ Nato se Mojžíš odvrátil a odešel od faraona.

10:7  And Pharao's servants said to him: How long shall we endure this scandal? Iet the men go to sacrifice to the Lord their God. Dost thou not see that Egypt is undone?

10:7  And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

10:7  Faraónovi služebníci řekli: „Jak dlouho nám bude tento člověk léčkou? Propusť ty muže, ať slouží Hospodinu, svému Bohu. Což jsi dosud nepoznal, že hrozí Egyptu zánik?“

10:7  Dvořané tehdy na faraona naléhali: „Jak dlouho ještě budeme v této pasti? Propusť ty lidi, ať slouží Hospodinu, svému Bohu! Ještě pořád nechápeš, že s Egyptem je konec?“

10:7  Faraonovi otroci mu řekli: Jak dlouho nám ten člověk bude ostnem? Propusť ty lidi, ať slouží Hospodinu, svému Bohu. Což ještě nechápeš, že Egypt hyne?

10:7  Řekli pak služebníci Faraonovi k němu: Dokavadž tento bude nám osídlem? Propusť ty muže, ať slouží Hospodinu Bohu svému. Zdaž ještě nevíš, že zkažen jest Egypt?

10:7  And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

10:7  Pharaoh's servants said to him, "How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the Lord, their God. Do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?"

10:7  And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall this man be a snare to us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: know you not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

10:7  Dixerunt autem servi Pharaonis ad eum : Usquequo patiemur hoc scandalum ? dimitte homines, ut sacrificent Domino Deo suo ; nonne vides quod perierit Ægyptus ?

10:8  And they called back Moses, and Aaron, to Pharao; and he said to them: Go, sacrifice to the Lord your God: who are they that shall go?

10:8  And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go?

10:8  Mojžíš a Áron byli přivedeni zpět k faraónovi. Ten jim řekl: „Nuže, služte Hospodinu, svému Bohu. Kdo všechno má jít?“

10:8  A tak Mojžíše s Áronem přivedli zpět k faraonovi. Ten jim řekl: „Jděte, služte Hospodinu, svému Bohu. Kdo přesně má jít?“

10:8  Mojžíš a Áron byli přivedeni zpět k faraonovi a on jim řekl: Jděte, služte Hospodinu, svému Bohu. Kdo všechno má jít?

10:8  I zavolán jest Mojžíš s Aronem před Faraona. Jimž řekl: Jděte, služte Hospodinu Bohu svému. Kdo jsou ti, kteříž jíti mají?

10:8  And Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh: and he said to them, Go, serve the LORD your God: [but] who [are] they that shall go?

10:9  Moses said: We will go with our young and old, with our sons and daughters, with our sheep and herds: for it is the solemnity of the Lord our God.

10:9  And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord.

10:9  Mojžíš odvětil: „Půjdeme se svou mládeží i se starci, půjdeme se svými syny i dcerami, se svým bravem i skotem, neboť máme slavnost Hospodinovu.“

10:9  Mojžíš řekl: „Půjdeme se svými mladíky i starci, půjdeme se svými syny i dcerami, se svým bravem i skotem, neboť máme Hospodinovu slavnost.“

10:9  Mojžíš odpověděl: Půjdeme se svými mladými i starými; půjdeme se svými syny i dcerami, se svým bravem i skotem, protože máme svátek Hospodinův.

10:9  A odpověděl Mojžíš: S dítkami i s starými našimi půjdeme, s syny i s dcerami našimi, s ovcemi a s větším dobytkem naším odejdeme; nebo slavnost Hospodinovu držeti máme.

10:9  And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we [must hold] a feast to the LORD.

10:9  Ait Moyses : Cum parvulis nostris, et senioribus pergemus, cum filiis et filiabus, cum ovibus et armentis : est enim solemnitas Domini Dei nostri.

10:10  And Pharao answered: So be the Lord with you, as I shall let you and your children go: who can doubt but that you intend some great evil?

10:10  And he said unto them, Let the Lord be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.

10:10  Farao jim však řekl: „To tak! Myslíte si, že Hospodin bude s vámi, když vás propustím s dětmi? To jste si zamanuli špatnou věc.

10:10  Farao jim odpověděl: „Hospodin by opravdu musel být s vámi, kdybych vás měl nechat odejít i s dětmi! Dejte si pozor, nebo špatně dopadnete!

10:10  Tedy řekl jim: Nechať jest tak Hospodin s vámi, jako já propustím vás i dítky vaše. Hleďte, nebo zlé jest před tváři vaší.

10:10  And he said to them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look [to it]; for evil [is] before you.

10:10  He said to them, "The Lord be with you if I will let you go with your little ones! See, evil is clearly before your faces.

10:10  Et respondit Pharao : Sic Dominus sit vobiscum, quomodo ego dimittam vos, et parvulos vestros, cui dubium est quod pessime cogitetis ?

10:11  It shall not be so. but go ye men only, and sacrifice to the Lord: for this yourselves also desired. And immediately they were cast out from Pharao's presence.

10:11  Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the Lord; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.

10:11  Kdepak! Vy muži si jděte a služte Hospodinu, když o to tak stojíte.“ A vyhnali je od faraóna.

10:11  Nebudeť tak. Jděte vy sami muži, a služte Hospodinu, nebo toho vy toliko žádáte. I vyhnáni jsou od tváři Faraonovy.

10:11  Not so: go now ye [that are] men, and serve the LORD; for that you desired. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.

10:11  non fiet ita, sed ite tantum viri, et sacrificate Domino : hoc enim et ipsi petistis. Statimque ejecti sunt de conspectu Pharaonis.

10:12  And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch forth thy hand upon the land of Egypt unto the locust, that it come upon it, and devour every herb that is left after the hail.

10:12  And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.

10:12  Hospodin řekl Mojžíšovi: „Vztáhni nad egyptskou zemi ruku, aby přilétly na egyptskou zemi kobylky a sežraly všechny byliny země, všechno, co zůstalo po krupobití.“

10:12  And the LORD said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, [even] all that the hail hath left.

10:12  The Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up on the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left."

10:13  And Moses stretched forth his rod upon the land of Egypt: and the Lord brought a burning wind all that day, and night; and when it was morning, the burning wind raised the locusts.

10:13  And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

10:13  Mojžíš tedy vztáhl nad egyptskou zemi hůl a Hospodin přihnal na zemi východní vítr. Ten vál po celý den a celou noc. Když nastalo jitro, přinesl východní vítr kobylky.

10:14  Kobylky přilétly na celou egyptskou zemi a spustily se na celé území Egypta v takovém množství, že tolik kobylek nebylo nikdy předtím ani potom.

10:14  A vystoupily kobylky na všecku zemi Egyptskou, a připadly na všecky končiny Egyptské nesčíslně. Před těmi nebylo takových kobylek, aniž po těch takové budou.

10:14  And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the borders of Egypt: very grievous [were they]; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them will be such.
