7:1  And it came to pass in the days of Achaz the son of Joathan, the son of Ozias, king of Juda, that Rasin king of Syria and Phacee the son of Romelia king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem, to fight against it: but they could not prevail over it.

7:1  Za dnů Achaza, syna Jótama, syna Uzijášova, krále judského, vytáhl Resín, král aramejský, a s ním Pekach, syn Remaljášův, král izraelský, do války proti Jeruzalému, ale nic proti němu v boji nesvedli.

7:1  Za vlády judského krále Achaze, syna Jotamova, syna Uziášova, vytáhl aramejský král Recin s izraelským králem Pekachem, synem Remaliášovým, do boje proti Jeruzalému, ale nedokázal jej dobýt.

7:1  I stalo se za dnů judského krále Achaza, syna Jótama, syna Uzijášova, že vytáhl Resín, král aramejský, a Pekach, syn Remaljášův, král izraelský, do boje proti Jeruzalému. Ale nemohl ho dobýt.

7:2  And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

7:3  And the Lord said to Isaiah: Go forth to meet Achaz, thou and Jasub thy son that is left, to the conduit of the upper pool in the way of the fuller's field.

7:3  Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear–jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;

7:3  Hospodin řekl Izajášovi: „Vyjdi Achazovi naproti ty a tvůj syn Šearjašúb na konec strouhy z Horního rybníka, na silnici k Poli valchářovu.

7:3  Then said the LORD to Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear-jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;

7:3  Et dixit Dominus ad Isaiam : Egredere in occursum Achaz, tu et qui derelictus est Jasub, filius tuus, ad extremum aquæductus piscinæ superioris in via agri Fullonis ;

7:4  And thou shalt say to him: See thou be quiet: fear not, and let not thy heart be afraid of the two tails of these firebrands, smoking with the wrath of the fury of Rasin king of Syria, and of the son of Romelia.

7:4  And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

7:4  Řekni mu: Zachovej klid a neboj se, neklesej na mysli kvůli těm dvěma čadícím oharkům, že hněvem plane Aramejec Resín a syn Remaljášův.

7:4  And say to him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be faint-hearted for the two tails of these smoking fire-brands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

7:4  Tell him, 'Be careful, and keep calm. Do not be afraid, neither let your heart be faint because of these two tails of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

7:5  Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

7:6  Let us go up to Juda, and rouse it up, and draw it away to us, and make the son of Tabeel king in the midst thereof.

7:6  ‚Vytáhneme proti Judovi, vyděsíme jej a dobudeme jej pro sebe a uděláme v něm králem Tabealova syna.‘“

7:6  Let us go up against Judah, and harass it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, [even] the son of Tabeal:

7:8  Hlavou Aramu je Damašek a hlavou Damašku Resín. Do šedesáti pěti let ztroskotá Efrajim, takže nebude lidem;

7:8  Hlavou Aramu je Damašek a hlavou Damašku Recin. Za pětašedesát let bude Efraim rozdrcen, takže už nebude národem.

7:18  It will happen in that day that the Lord will whistle for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

7:25  A na žádnou z horských strání, které byly obdělávány motykou, nebudeš moci vstoupit pro samé bodláčí a křoví. Budou výběhem pro býky a drahami pro ovce.

7:25  Na žádnou ze strání kdysi obdělávaných motykou se už nevydáš ze strachu z trní a bodláčí. Budou z nich dobytčí pastviny, budou zdupány ovcemi.

7:25  A na žádnou horu, která se okopává motykou, nebudeš chodit ze strachu z trní a bodláčí; bude výběhem pro skot a k pošlapání ovcím.

7:25  And [on] all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
