I Ch VulgClem 21:1  Consurrexit autem Satan contra Israël, et concitavit David ut numeraret Israël.
I Ch DRC 21:2  And David said to Joab, and to the rulers of the people: Go, and number Israel from Bersabee even to Dan, and bring me the number of them that I may know it.
I Ch KJV 21:2  And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer–sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

I Ch Webster 21:2  And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer-sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know [it].
I Ch NHEB 21:2  David said to Joab and to the princes of the people, "Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring me word, that I may know the sum of them."
I Ch AKJV 21:2  And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.
I Ch VulgClem 21:2  Dixitque David ad Joab et ad principes populi : Ite, et numerate Israël a Bersabee usque Dan : et afferte mihi numerum ut sciam.
I Ch DRC 21:3  And Joab answered: The Lord make his people a hundred times more than they are: but, my lord the king, are they not all thy servants: why doth my lord seek this thing, which may be imputed as a sin to Israel?
I Ch KJV 21:3  And Joab answered, The Lord make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
I Ch CzeCEP 21:3  Jóab králi namítl: „Nechť Hospodin zvětší svůj lid třeba stokrát. Což nejsou ti všichni, králi, můj pane, služebníky mého pána? Proč to chce můj pán zjistit? Proč se má Izrael provinit?“
I Ch CzeB21 21:3  Joáb ale namítl: „Hospodin kéž rozmnoží svůj lid nastokrát! Můj pane a králi, nejsou to snad všechno tvoji poddaní? Proč to chce můj pán udělat? Proč má být na Izrael uvalena vina?“
I Ch CzeCSP 21:3  Jóab řekl: Ať Hospodin přidá ke svému lidu stokrát víc, než ho je. Což nejsou, můj pane a králi, všichni otroky mého pána? Proč to chce můj pán udělat? Proč by měla být vina na Izraeli?
I Ch CzeBKR 21:3  Ale Joáb řekl: Přidejž Hospodin lidu svého, což ho koli, stokrát více. I zdaliž, pane můj králi, nejsou všickni oni pána mého služebníci? Proč toho vyhledává pán můj? Proč má býti uvedena pokléska na Izraele?
I Ch Webster 21:3  And Joab answered, the LORD make his people a hundred times more numerous than they [are]: but, my lord the king, [are] they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
I Ch NHEB 21:3  Joab said, "May the Lord make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, aren't they all my lord's servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?"
I Ch AKJV 21:3  And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then does my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
I Ch DRC 21:4  But the king's word rather prevailed: and Joab departed, and went through all Israel: and returned to Jerusalem.
I Ch KJV 21:4  Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
Jóab vyšel a prošel celý Izrael. Pak přišel do Jeruzaléma.
I Ch CzeBKR 21:4  Ale řeč královská přemohla Joába.
I Ch Webster 21:4  Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
I Ch NHEB 21:4  Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Therefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
I Ch AKJV 21:4  Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Why Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
I Ch DRC 21:5  And he gave David the number of them, whom he had surveyed: and all the number of Israel was found to be eleven hundred thousand men that drew the sword: and of Juda four hundred and seventy thousand fighting men.
I Ch KJV 21:5  And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.
I Ch CzeCEP 21:5  Jóab odevzdal Davidovi celkový součet lidu: Všeho Izraele bylo jeden milión a sto tisíc mužů schopných tasit meč a Judy čtyři sta sedmdesát tisíc mužů schopných tasit meč.
I Ch CzeB21 21:5  předal Davidovi seznam lidu: Celý Izrael čítal 1 100 000 bojeschopných mužů; Juda čítal 470 000 bojeschopných mužů.
I Ch CzeCSP 21:5  Jóab udal Davidovi počet sečteného lidu. Všech Izraelců byl milion sto tisíc mužů tasících meč a Judejců bylo čtyři sta sedmdesát tisíc mužů tasících meč.
I Ch CzeBKR 21:5  I dal Joáb počet lidu sečteného Davidovi. A bylo všeho lidu Izraelského jedenáctekrát sto tisíc mužů bojovných, lidu pak Judského čtyřikrát sto tisíc, a sedmdesáte tisíc mužů bojovných.
I Ch Webster 21:5  And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to David. And all [they of] Israel were a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah [was] four hundred and seventy thousand men that drew sword.
I Ch NHEB 21:5  Joab gave up the sum of the numbering of the people to David. All those of Israel were one million one hundred thousand men who drew sword: and in Judah were four hundred seventy thousand men who drew sword.
I Ch AKJV 21:5  And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred three score and ten thousand men that drew sword.
I Ch DRC 21:6  But Levi and Benjamin he did not number: for Joab unwillingly executed the king's orders.
I Ch KJV 21:6  But Levi and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king’s word was abominable to Joab.
I Ch Webster 21:6  But Levi and Benjamin he counted not among them: for the king's word was abominable to Joab.
I Ch NHEB 21:6  But he did not count Levi and Benjamin among them; for the king's word was abominable to Joab.
I Ch AKJV 21:6  But Levi and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king's word was abominable to Joab.
I Ch DRC 21:7  And God was displeased with this thing that was commanded: and he struck Israel.
I Ch KJV 21:7  And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.
I Ch CzeCEP 21:7  Byla to zlá věc i v očích Božích, proto Bůh Izraele ranil.

I Ch CzeB21 21:9  Hospodin tehdy promluvil k Davidovu vidoucímu Gádovi:
I Ch CzeCSP 21:9  Hospodin promluvil ke Gádovi, Davidovu vidoucímu:
I Ch CzeBKR 21:9  V tom mluvil Hospodin k Gádovi, proroku Davidovu, řka:
I Ch Webster 21:9  And the LORD spoke to Gad, David's seer, saying,
I Ch NHEB 21:9  The Lord spoke to Gad, David's seer, saying,
I Ch AKJV 21:9  And the LORD spoke to Gad, David's seer, saying,
I Ch VulgClem 21:9  Et locutus est Dominus ad Gad videntem Davidis, dicens :
I Ch DRC 21:10  Go, and speak to David, and tell him: Thus saith the Lord: I give thee the choice of three things: choose one which thou wilt, and I will do it to thee.
I Ch KJV 21:10  Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

I Ch CzeBKR 21:11  Tedy přišel Gád k Davidovi a řekl jemu: Toto praví Hospodin: Vol sobě,

I Ch VulgClem 21:11  Cumque venisset Gad ad David, dixit ei : Hæc dicit Dominus : Elige, quod volueris :
I Ch DRC 21:12  Either three years famine: or three months to flee from thy enemies, and not to be able to escape their sword: or three days to have the sword of the Lord, and pestilence in the land, and the angel of the Lord destroying in all the coasts of Israel: now therefore see what I shall answer him who sent me.
I Ch KJV 21:12  Either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the Lord, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
I Ch Webster 21:12  Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while the sword of thy enemies overtaketh [thee]; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the borders of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
I Ch NHEB 21:12  either three years of famine; or three months to be consumed before your foes, while the sword of your enemies overtakes you; or else three days the sword of the Lord, even pestilence in the land, and the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the borders of Israel. Now therefore consider what answer I shall return to him who sent me.'"
I Ch AKJV 21:12  Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before your foes, while that the sword of your enemies overtakes you; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise yourself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
I Ch VulgClem 21:12  aut tribus annis famem ; aut tribus mensibus te fugere hostes tuos, et gladium eorum non posse evadere ; aut tribus diebus gladium Domini, et pestilentiam versari in terra, et angelum Domini interficere in universis finibus Israël : nunc igitur vide quid respondeam ei qui misit me.
I Ch DRC 21:13  And David said to Gad: I am on every side in a great strait: but it is better for me to fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercies are many, than into the hands of men.
I Ch KJV 21:13  And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the Lord; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
I Ch CzeCEP 21:13  David Gádovi odvětil: „Je mi velmi úzko.
Jenom ať nepadnu do ruky člověka.
I Ch CzeBKR 21:13  I řekl David Gádovi: Úzko mi náramně; nechť prosím, upadnu v ruce Hospodinovy, neboť jsou mnohá slitování jeho, jediné ať v ruce lidské neupadám.

I Ch AKJV 21:13  And David said to Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
I Ch VulgClem 21:13  Et dixit David ad Gad : Ex omni parte me angustiæ premunt : sed melius mihi est ut incidam in manus Domini, quia multæ sunt miserationes ejus, quam in manus hominum.

I Ch KJV 21:15  And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
I Ch CzeCEP 21:15  Bůh vyslal k Jeruzalému anděla, aby v něm šířil zkázu. Ale když šířil zkázu, Hospodin shlédl a pojala ho lítost nad tím zlem. Řekl andělu, jenž šířil zkázu: „Dost! Již přestaň!“ Hospodinův anděl stál právě u humna Ornána Jebúsejského.
I Ch CzeB21 21:15  a Bůh poslal anděla, aby hubil Jeruzalém. Když pak Hospodin viděl tu zhoubu, pojala ho nad tím neštěstím lítost a řekl andělovi hubícímu lid: „Dost už, zadrž!“ Hospodinův anděl právě stál u mlatu Aravny Jebusejského.
I Ch CzeCSP 21:15  Bůh poslal do Jeruzaléma anděla, aby ho ničil.
I řekl andělu, kterýž hubil: Dostiť jest, zdrž ruku svou. Anděl pak stál podlé humna Ornana Jebuzejského.
I Ch Webster 21:15  And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thy hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

I Ch AKJV 21:15  And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now your hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Porro angelus Domini stabat juxta aream Ornan Jebusæi.
