4:1  Now a certain woman of the wives of the prophets, cried to Eliseus, saying: Thy servant, my husband, is dead, and thou knowest that thy servant was one that feared God, and behold the creditor is come to take away my two sons to serve him.

4:2  And Eliseus said to her: What wilt thou have me do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in thy house? And she answered: I, thy handmaid, have nothing in my house but a little oil, to anoint me.

4:10  Udělejme malý zděný pokojík na střeše a dejme mu tam lůžko, stůl, stoličku a svícen. Kdykoli k nám přijde, může se tam uchýlit.“

4:10  Pojďme mu na střeše postavit pokojík. Dáme mu tam postel, stůl, židli a svícen, ať má kde odpočívat, když k nám přijde.“

4:13  And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

4:13  And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what [is] to be done for thee? wouldst thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among my own people.

4:13  He said to him, "Say now to her, 'Behold, you have cared for us with all this care. What is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army?'" She answered, "I dwell among my own people."

4:13  And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for you? would you be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among my own people.

4:13  dixit ad puerum suum : Loquere ad eam : Ecce, sedule in omnibus ministrasti nobis : quid vis ut faciam tibi ? numquid habes negotium, et vis ut loquar regi, sive principi militiæ ? Quæ respondit : In medio populi mei habito.

4:14  And he said: What will she then that I do for her? And Giezi said: Do not ask, for she hath no son, and her husband is old.

4:14  And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.

4:14  I otázal se Elíša: „Co bych pro ni mohl udělat?“ Géchazí odvětil: „Přece něco. Nemá syna a její muž je starý.“

4:15  Then he bid him call her. And when she was called, and stood before the door,

4:17  And the woman conceived, and brought forth a son in the time, and at the same hour that Eliseus had said.
