6:1  Strengthen yourselves, ye sons of Benjamin, in the midst of Jerusalem, and sound the trumpet in Thecua, and set up the standard over Bethacarem: for evil is seen out of the north, and a great destruction.

6:1  O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth–haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

6:1  „Prchejte do bezpečí, synové Benjamínovi, utečte z Jeruzaléma, v Tekóji zatrubte na polnici, vztyčte znamení nad Bét-keremem, protože ze severu vyhlíží zlo a veliká zkáza.

6:1  „Synové Benjamínovi, prchněte, z Jeruzaléma utečte! V Tekoji na roh zatrubte, dejte znamení nad Bet-keremem: Od severu se blíží neštěstí, strašné ničení!

6:1  Rychle do bezpečí, synové Benjamínovi, pryč z Jeruzaléma. V Tekóji trubte na beraní roh a nad Bét–keremem zapalte signální oheň, protože ze severu shlíží zlo a velká zkáza.

6:1  Shromažďte se, synové Beniaminovi, z prostředku Jeruzaléma, a v Tekoa trubte trubou, a nad Betkarem vyzdvihněte korouhev; nebo viděti zlé od půlnoci, a potření veliké.

6:4  Nachystejte proti ní válku. Povstaňte a vyrazme v poledne. Běda nám, protože den se chýlí ke konci a večerní stíny se prodlužují.

6:6  Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: „Zporážejte stromy a navršte proti Jeruzalému násep. To město musí být celé potrestáno, uprostřed něho je útisk.

6:6  Tak praví Hospodin zástupů: „Kácejte les, proti Jeruzalému násep navršte! To je to město, které čeká trest – je naplněné útlakem!

6:6  Neboť toto praví Hospodin zástupů: Pokácejte stromy a navršte proti Jeruzalému obléhací násep. Je to město k tomu určené, uvnitř je plné útlaku.

6:6  Takto zajisté praví Hospodin zástupů: Nasekejte dříví, a zdělejte proti Jeruzalému náspy. Toť jest to město, kteréž navštíveno býti musí; což ho koli, jen nátisk jest u prostřed něho.

6:7  Jako studna uchovává vodu čerstvou, tak ono uchovává své zlo. Je v něm slyšet o násilí a zhoubě, stále mám před sebou jeho chorobu a ránu.

6:7  Jako ze studny tryská voda, tak z toho města tryská zloba. Útlak a zhouba se v něm rozléhá, jeho bolesti a rány mám stále před očima.

6:7  Jako studna uchovává svou vodu svěží, tak ono uchovává svěží své zlo. Je v něm slyšet násilí a zkáza, stále je přede mnou nemoc a rána.

6:7  Jakož studnice vypryšťuje vodu svou, tak ono vypryšťuje zlost svou. Nátisk a zhoubu slyšeti v něm před oblíčejem mým ustavičně, bolest i bití.

6:9  Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: „Jako vinici ať paběrkují pozůstatek Izraele. Jako vinař vlož znovu svou ruku na úponky.“

6:9  Tak praví Hospodin zástupů: „Proberte pozůstatek Izraele, jako když se paběrkuje vinice. Znovu prohrábni její ratolesti, jako když vinař sbírá hrozny.“

6:9  Toto praví Hospodin zástupů: Jistě budou paběrkovat ostatek Izraele jako révu. Vztáhni znovu svoji ruku jako česač hroznů na ratolesti.

6:9  Takto praví Hospodin zástupů: Jistě paběrovati budou jako vinný kmen ostatek Izraele, říkajíce: Sahej rukou svou jako ten, kterýž víno zbírá do putny.

6:10  Ke komu mám mluvit, koho varovat, aby to slyšel? Hle, jejich uši jsou neobřezané, nemohou tomu věnovat pozornost. Hle, Hospodinovo slovo je jim potupou, nelíbí se jim.

6:10  S kým ale mohu mluvit, koho varovat, aby slyšeli? Hle, mají neobřezané uši, vůbec neposlouchají! Hle, Hospodinovo slovo je uráží, nelíbí se jim!

6:10  Ke komu mám mluvit, koho varovat, aby slyšeli? Hle, ⌈mají ucpané uši,⌉ nejsou schopni dávat pozor. Hle, Hospodinovo slovo jim bylo k posměchu, nemají v něm zalíbení.

6:10  Komuž mluviti budu, a kým osvědčovati, aby slyšeli? Aj, neobřezané jsou uši jejich, tak že nemohou pozorovati; aj, slovo Hospodinovo mají v posměchu, a nemají líbosti v něm.

6:11  Jsem naplněn Hospodinovým rozhořčením, marně se snažím je ztlumit. „Vylej je na děti v ulicích i na skupiny jinochů; polapen bude zároveň muž i žena, stařec i ten, kdo dovršil své dny.

6:11  Jsem plný Hospodinova hněvu, zadržovat už ho nemohu. „Vylij ho tedy na děti v ulicích i tam, kde se baví mládenci. Vždyť budou zachváceni muži i s ženami, ba i starci, kteří dožili své dny.

6:11  Jsem plný Hospodinova hněvu, jsem vyčerpán tím, že ho musím snášet. Vylej ho na dítě na ulici a ⌈na mládence, kteří spolu důvěrně hovoří,⌉ vždyť i muž s ženou budou polapeni, stařec s tím, kdo je plný dnů.

6:11  Protož plný jsem prchlivosti Hospodinovy, ustal jsem, drže ji v sobě. Vylita bude i na maličké vně, spolu i na shromáždění mládenců, ovšem pak muž s ženou jat bude, stařec s kmetem.

6:12  And their houses shall be turned over to others, with their lands and their wives together: for I will stretch forth my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord.

6:12  Jejich domy, pole, spolu s nimi i ženy dostanou jiní, neboť napřáhnu svou ruku na obyvatele země, je výrok Hospodinův.

6:12  Jejich domy pak připadnou jiným spolu s poli a ženami, až vztáhnu ruku na všechny, kdo žijí v této zemi, praví Hospodin.

6:12  Jejich domy stejně jako pole a ženy budou předány jiným, neboť vztáhnu svou ruku proti obyvatelům této země, je Hospodinův výrok,

6:13  Od nejmenšího až po největšího všichni propadli chamtivosti, od proroka až po kněze všichni klamou.

6:13  Vždyť od nejmenších až po největší každý jen hledá mrzký zisk; od proroků až po kněží každý jen podvádí.

6:14  Těžkou ránu mého lidu léčí lehkovážnými slovy: ‚Pokoj, pokoj!‘ Ale žádný pokoj není.

6:14  Můj těžce poraněný lid léčí ledabylými slovy: ‚Klid, jen klid‘ – jenže klid není!

6:14  Napravují zkázu mého lidu povrchně slovy: ⌈Pokoj, pokoj,⌉ ale ⌈žádný pokoj⌉ není.

6:14  A hojí potření dcery lidu mého povrchu, říkajíce: Pokoj, pokoj, ješto není žádného pokoje.

6:15  Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.

6:15  Zastyděli se, že páchali ohavnosti? Ne, ti se nestydí, neznají zahanbení. Proto padnou s padajícími, klopýtnou v čase, kdy je budu trestat, praví Hospodin.“

6:15  Copak se za své ohavnosti nestydí? Ne, oni stud vůbec neznají, ani se nezačervenají. Proto padnou mezi padlými, zhroutí se v čas zúčtování, praví Hospodin.“

6:15  Styděli se, že páchali odpornou věc? Ani trochu se nestyděli, ani se hanbit neumějí. Proto padnou s padajícími; v čase, kdy je navštívím, se zapotácejí, praví Hospodin.

6:15  Styděli-liž se pak co proto, že ohavnost páchali? Aniž se lid co styděl, aniž jich proroci k zahanbení přivesti uměli. Protož padnou mezi padajícími; v čas, v němž je navštívím, klesnou, praví Hospodin.

6:16  Thus saith the Lord: Stand ye on the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, which is the good way, and walk ye in it: and you shall find refreshment for your souls. And they said: We will not walk.

6:16  Toto praví Hospodin: „Stůjte na cestách a vyhlížejte, ptejte se na stezky věčnosti: Kde je ta dobrá cesta? Vydejte se po ní a vaše duše naleznou klid. Ale oni řekli: ‚Nepůjdeme.‘

6:16  Tak praví Hospodin: „Zastavte se na cestách, rozhlédněte se, ptejte se po stezkách pradávných: Kde je ta dobrá cesta? Po ní jděte a vaše duše najdou odpočinutí. Vy jste však řekli: ‚Nepůjdem!‘

6:16  Toto praví Hospodin: Zastavte se na cestách a rozhlížejte se! Ptejte se na dávné stezky: Kde je ta dobrá cesta? Jděte po ní a najděte místo odpočinutí pro své duše. Říkají však: Nepůjdeme.

6:16  Když takto říkával Hospodin: Zastavte se na cestách, a pohleďte, a vyptejte se na stezky staré, která jest cesta dobrá, i choďte po ní, a naleznete odpočinutí duši své, tedy říkávali: Nebudeme choditi.

6:16  Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk in it, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [in it].
