16:1  And the Lord spoke to Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron when they were slain upon their offering strange fire:

16:1  Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen post mortem duorum filiorum Aaron, quando offerentes ignem alienum interfecti sunt :

16:2  And he commanded him, saying: Speak to Aaron thy brother, that he enter not at all into the sanctuary, which is within the veil before the propitiatory, with which the ark is covered, lest he die, (for I will appear in a cloud over the oracle),

16:2  And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

16:2  And the LORD said to Moses, Speak to Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy [place] within the vail, before the mercy-seat, which [is] upon the ark; that he may not die: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-seat.

16:2  and the Lord said to Moses, "Tell Aaron your brother, not to come at all times into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die: for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.

16:2  And the LORD said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is on the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.

16:3  Unless he first do these things. He shall offer a calf for sin, and a ram for a holocaust.

16:4  He shall be vested with a linen tunick: he shall cover his nakedness with linen breeches: he shall be girded with a linen girdle, and he shall put a linen mitre upon his head. For these are holy vestments: all which he shall put on, after he is washed.

16:4  He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.

16:4  Oblékne si svatou lněnou suknici, pod ní bude mít na těle lněné spodky, přepáše se lněnou šerpou a ovine si lněný turban. Je to svaté roucho. Celý se omyje vodou, než je oblékne.

16:4  V sukni lněnou svatou obleče se, a košilku lněnou bude míti na těle hanby své, pasem také lněným opáše se, a čepici lněnou vstaví na hlavu, roucha zajisté svatá jsou tato; i umyje vodou tělo své a obleče se v ně.

16:4  He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with the linen girdle, and with the linen miter shall he be attired: these [are] holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and [so] put them on.

16:4  He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be dressed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on.

16:12  And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the Lord, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:

16:12  Vezme z oltáře, od Hospodina, kadidelnici plnou žhavého uhlí a dvě hrsti jemného kadidla z vonných věcí a vnese to dovnitř za oponu.

16:12  Nabere plnou kadidelnici žhavého uhlí, jež bylo na oltáři před Hospodinem, do obou hrstí nabere jemně drcené kadidlo z vonných látek a vnese to dovnitř za oponu.

16:14  Potom vezme trochu krve z býčka a stříkne ji prstem na příkrov z přední strany a před příkrov stříkne prstem trochu krve sedmkrát.

16:14  Vezme také trochu krve z toho býka a stříkne prstem na východní stranu slitovnice; rovněž před slitovnici sedmkrát stříkne prstem trochu krve.

16:14  And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle [it] with his finger upon the mercy-seat eastward: and before the mercy-seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

16:14  He shall take some of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

16:14  And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

16:15  And when he hath killed the buck goat for the sin of the people, he shall carry in the blood thereof within the veil, as he was commanded to do with the blood of the calf, that he may sprinkle it over against the oracle:

16:15  Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

16:15  Pak porazí kozla, oběť za hřích lidu, a vnese jeho krev dovnitř za oponu. S jeho krví naloží stejně jako s krví býčka; stříkne ji na příkrov a před příkrov.

16:16  And may expiate the sanctuary from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from their transgressions, and all their sins. According to this rite shall he do to the tabernacle of the testimony, which is fixed among them in the midst of the filth of their habitation.

16:16  And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

16:16  Tak vykoná smírčí obřady za svatyni pro nečistotu Izraelců, pro jejich přestoupení a všechny jejich hříchy. Stejně bude postupovat při stanu setkávání, který stojí u nich, uprostřed jejich nečistot.

16:16  Tak očistí nejsvětější svatyni od nečistot synů Izraele, od jejich provinění a všech hříchů. Totéž učiní se Stanem setkávání, který s nimi zůstává uprostřed jejich nečistot.

16:16  And he shall make an atonement for the holy [place], because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

16:16  and he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting, that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleanness.

16:17  Let no man be in the tabernacle when the high priest goeth into the sanctuary, to pray for himself and his house, and for the whole congregation of Israel, until he come out.

16:17  And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

16:33  Ten vykoná smírčí obřady za velesvatyni, vykoná smírčí obřady za stan setkávání a za oltář; také za kněze i za shromáždění všeho lidu vykoná smírčí obřady.

16:33  And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar: and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

16:34  Toto bude pro vás věčné ustanovení: vykonat obřad smíření za syny Izraele, za všechny jejich hříchy jednou za rok. A on učinil tak, jak Hospodin přikázal Mojžíšovi.

16:34  A bude vám to ustanovením věčným k očišťování synů Izraelských ode všech hříchů jejich, každého roku jednou. I učinil Mojžíš tak, jakž jemu byl přikázal Hospodin.

16:34  And this shall be an everlasting statute to you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
