24:1  And when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord that he should bless Israel, he went not as he had gone before, to seek divination: but setting his face towards the desert,

24:10  And Balac being angry against Balaam, clapped his hands together and said: I called thee to curse my enemies, and thou on the contrary hast blessed them three times.

24:10  Tu Balák vzplanul proti Bileámovi hněvem. Tleskl rukama a osopil se na Bileáma: „Povolal jsem tě, abys mé nepřátele zatratil, a ty jim jen žehnáš, dokonce již potřetí.

24:11  Tak si běž, odkud jsi přišel! Přislíbil jsem ti převelikou poctu, avšak Hospodin tě té pocty zbavil.“

24:17  I see him, but not now. I see him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob. A scepter will rise out of Israel, and shall strike through the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of Sheth.
