5:3  Vykažte jak muže, tak ženu, vykažte je z tábora ven, aby neposkvrnili tábor těch, mezi nimiž přebývám já sám.“

5:4  Izraelci tak učinili a vyhostili je ven za tábor. Udělali to tak, jak mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi.

5:6  Say to the children of Israel: When a man or woman shall have committed any of all the sins that men are wont to commit, and by negligence shall have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and offended,

5:6  „Mluv k Izraelcům: Když se muž nebo žena dopustí nějakého hříchu, jak se ho lidé dopouštějí zpronevěrou Hospodinu, a budou shledáni vinnými,

5:6  „Mluv k synům Izraele: Když se muž nebo žena dopustí kteréhokoli hříchu vůči člověku, a tak se zpronevěří Hospodinu, takový člověk se provinil.

5:6  Promluv k synům Izraele: Když muž či žena spáchají ⌈nějaký hřích⌉ proti člověku a zpronevěří se vůči Hospodinu věrolomností, takový člověk ponese vinu.

5:7  vyznají svůj hřích, jehož se dopustili, a viník dá odškodnění a navíc přidá pětinu. To dá tomu, proti komu se provinil.

5:7  Vyzná tedy svůj hřích, jehož se dopustil, nahradí škodu v plné výši, přidá ještě pětinu navíc a odevzdá to tomu, vůči komu se provinil.

5:7  Musí vyznat svůj hřích, který spáchal, ⌈to, čím se provinil, doposledka vrátit,⌉ přidat k tomu pětinu a dát tomu, proti komu se provinil.

5:7  Tedy vyzná hřích svůj, kterýž učinil, navrátí pak to, čímž vinen byl, v cele, a pátý díl přidá nad to, a dá tomu, proti komuž zavinil.

5:7  Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal of it, and add to it the fifth [part] of it, and give [it] to [him] against whom he hath trespassed.

5:8  But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the Lord, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

5:8  Nemá-li ten člověk žádného zastánce, jemuž by se odškodnění mělo předat, připadne stanovené odškodnění Hospodinu a předá se knězi, kromě berana smírčí oběti, potřebného k vykonání smírčího obřadu za něho.

5:8  Kdyby po poškozeném nezůstal příbuzný, jemuž by se nahradila škoda, bude odškodnění odevzdáno Hospodinu pro kněze, a to kromě berana, jímž se za něj vykoná obřad smíření.

5:8  Jestliže ten muž nemá příbuzného, kterému by vrátil to, čím se provinil, bude to vráceno Hospodinu pro kněze -- kromě berana smíření, s nímž bude za něj vykonán obřad smíření.

5:8  A neměl-li by muž ten přítele, jemuž by nahradil tu škodu, pokuta dána buď Hospodinu a knězi, mimo skopce očištění, jímž očištěn býti má.

5:8  But if the man shall have no kinsman to recompense the trespass to, let the trespass be recompensed to the LORD, [even] to the priest; besides the ram of the atonement, by which an atonement shall be made for him.

5:12  „Mluv k Izraelcům a řekni jim: Kdyby se žena některého muže dostala na scestí a zpronevěřila se mu

5:12  „Mluv k synům Izraele: Kdyby se od někoho odklonila manželka a byla mu nevěrná,

5:13  And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

5:13  a někdo se s ní tělesně stýkal, třebaže to zůstane skryto jejímu muži a ona se neprozradí, poskvrnila se, i když proti sobě nemá svědka a nebyla přistižena.

5:13  kdyby s ní spal jiný muž a kdyby s ní bez vědomí jejího manžela obcoval, takže by se v tajnosti poskvrnila beze svědků a nepřistižena, učiníte toto:

5:14  If the spirit of jealousy stir up the husband against his wife, who either is defiled, or is charged with false suspicion,

5:14  And the spirit of jealousy shall come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy shall come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

5:15  He shall bring her to the priest, and shall offer an oblation for her, the tenth part of a measure of barley meal: he shall not pour oil thereon, nor put frankincense upon it: because it is a sacrifice of jealousy, and an oblation searching out adultery.

5:18  Potom kněz postaví ženu s rozpuštěnými vlasy před Hospodina a dá jí do rukou připomínkový obětní dar, to je obětní dar žárlivosti. Kněz bude mít v ruce hořkou vodu prokletí

5:18  Když tu ženu postaví před Hospodina, rozpustí jí vlasy a do rukou jí vloží moučnou oběť připomínky, jež je moučnou obětí žárlivosti. Kněz pak bude mít v ruce hořkou vodu prokletí

5:18  Kněz postaví tu ženu před Hospodina, rozpustí vlasy na hlavě té ženy a dá jí do ruky připomínkový obětní dar, to je obětní dar žárlivosti. A v rukou kněze bude hořká voda působící prokletí.

5:18  And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which [is] the jealousy-offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

5:18  The priest shall set the woman before the Lord, and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and put the meal offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal offering of jealousy. The priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that brings a curse.

5:19  And he shall adjure her, and shall say: If another man hath not slept with thee, and if thou be not defiled by forsaking thy husband's bed, these most bitter waters, on which I have heaped curses, shall not hurt thee.

5:19  And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
