Prov DRC 2:1  My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and wilt hide my commandments with thee,

Prov KJV 2:2  So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

Prov DRC 2:9  Then shalt thou understand justice, and judgment, and equity, and every good path.

Prov KJV 2:9  Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
Prov DRC 2:10  If wisdom shall enter into thy heart, and knowledge please thy soul:

Prov KJV 2:10  When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Prov DRC 2:12  That thou mayst be delivered from the evil way, and from the man that speaketh perverse things:
Prov VulgClem 2:12  ut eruaris a via mala, et ab homine qui perversa loquitur ;
Prov KJV 2:12  To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
Prov DRC 2:13  Who leave the right way, and walk by dark ways:
Prov VulgClem 2:13  qui relinquunt iter rectum, et ambulant per vias tenebrosas ;
Prov KJV 2:13  Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Prov DRC 2:14  Who are glad when they have done evil, and rejoice in the most wicked things:
Prov VulgClem 2:14  qui lætantur cum malefecerint, et exsultant in rebus pessimis ;
Prov KJV 2:14  Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
Prov DRC 2:15  Whose ways are perverse, and their steps infamous.
Prov VulgClem 2:15  quorum viæ perversæ sunt, et infames gressus eorum.
Prov KJV 2:15  Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
Prov DRC 2:16  That thou mayst be delivered from the strange woman, and from the stranger, who softeneth her words;
Prov VulgClem 2:16  Ut eruaris a muliere aliena, et ab extranea quæ mollit sermones suos,
Prov KJV 2:16  To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
Prov DRC 2:17  And forsaketh the guide of her youth,
Prov VulgClem 2:17  et relinquit ducem pubertatis suæ,
Prov KJV 2:17  Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
Prov DRC 2:18  And hath forgotten the covenant of her God: for her house inclineth unto death, and her paths to hell.
Prov VulgClem 2:18  et pacti Dei sui oblita est. Inclinata est enim ad mortem domus ejus, et ad inferos semitæ ipsius.
Prov KJV 2:18  For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
Prov DRC 2:19  None that go in unto her, shall return again, neither shall they take hold of the paths of life.
Prov VulgClem 2:19  Omnes qui ingrediuntur ad eam non revertentur, nec apprehendent semitas vitæ.
Prov KJV 2:19  None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
Prov DRC 2:20  That thou mayst walk in a good way: and mayst keep the paths of the just.
Prov VulgClem 2:20  Ut ambules in via bona, et calles justorum custodias :
Prov KJV 2:20  That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Prov DRC 2:21  For they that are upright, shall dwell in the earth; and the simple shall continue in it.
Prov VulgClem 2:21  qui enim recti sunt habitabunt in terra, et simplices permanebunt in ea ;
Prov KJV 2:21  For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
Prov DRC 2:22  But the wicked shall be destroyed from the earth: and they that do unjustly, shall be taken away from it.
Prov VulgClem 2:22  impii vero de terra perdentur, et qui inique agunt auferentur ex ea.
Prov KJV 2:22  But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
