30:1  Now when David and his men were come to Siceleg on the third day, the Amalecites had made an invasion on the south side upon Siceleg, and had smitten Siceleg, and burnt it with fire,

30:1  David právě dorazil se svými muži třetího dne do Siklagu, poté co Amálekovci vpadli do Negebu, k Siklagu. Dobyli Siklagu a vypálili jej.

30:1  Třetího dne pak David se svými muži dorazil do Ciklagu. Amalekovci mezitím podnikli nájezd do Negevu a Ciklagu, který dobyli a vypálili.

30:13  Zatím řekl jemu David: Čí jsi ty? A odkud jsi? Kterýž odpověděl: Rodem jsem z Egypta, služebník muže Amalechitského, a opustil mne pán můj, proto že jsem stonal, dnes třetí den.

30:13  And David said to him, To whom [belongest] thou? and whence [art] thou? And he said, I [am] a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.

30:15  And David said to him, Canst thou conduct me down to this company? And he said, Swear to me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will lead thee down to this company.
