5:1  I will sing to my beloved the canticle of my cousin concerning his vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a hill in a fruitful place.

5:1  Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

5:2  Zkypřil ji, kameny z ní vybral a vysadil ušlechtilou révu. Uprostřed ní vystavěl věž i lis v ní vytesal a čekal, že vydá hrozny; ona však vydala odporná pláňata.

5:2  Okopal ji a zbavil kamení, ušlechtilou révu na ní vysadil. Věž postavil uprostřed ní, vykopal v ní i vinný lis. Očekával, že hrozny urodí, její plody ale zplaněly.

5:2  Zkypřil ji, vybral z ní kamení, vysadil ji vybranou révou; vystavěl uprostřed ní věž a také v ní vytesal lis. Očekával, že vydá hrozny, ale vydala ⌈páchnoucí bobule.⌉

5:3  And now, O ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and ye men of Juda, judge between me and my vineyard.

5:4  Co se mělo pro mou vinici ještě udělat a já pro ni neudělal? Když jsem očekával, že vydá hrozny, jak to, že vydala odporná pláňata?

5:5  And now I will shew you what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be wasted: I will break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down.

5:5  And now come; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten up; [and] break down the wall of it, and it shall be trodden down:

5:6  And I will make it desolate: it shall not be pruned, and it shall not be digged: but briers and thorns shall come up: and I will command the clouds to rain no rain upon it.

5:6  Udělám z ní spoušť, nebude už prořezána ani okopána a vzejde bodláčí a křoví, mrakům zakážu zkrápět ji deštěm.“

5:6  Nechám ji, aby ladem ležela, neprořezaná, neokopaná, trním a bodláčím celá zarostlá. Navíc i mrakům poručím, ať na ni neprší.

5:6  Určil jsem ji ke zkáze: Nebude prořezávána ani pleta a vyroste na ní trní a bodláčí; oblakům přikáži, aby na ni nesesílala déšť.

5:6  Zapustím ji, nebude řezána, ani kopána, i vzroste na ní bodláčí a trní; oblakům také zapovím, aby nevydávali více na ni deště.

5:6  And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

5:7  For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel: and the man of Juda, his pleasant plant: and I looked that he should do judgment, and behold iniquity: and do justice, and behold a cry.

5:7  Vinice Hospodina zástupů je dům izraelský a muži judští sadbou, z níž měl potěšení. Čekal právo, avšak hle, bezpráví, spravedlnost, a hle, jen úpění.

5:7  Vinice Hospodina zástupů je dům izraelský, jeho milovaná réva je judský lid. Očekával právo, a hle – bezpráví, spravedlnost, a hle – úpění!

5:7  Vždyť vinicí Hospodina zástupů je dům izraelský a muži judští jsou sadbou jeho potěšení. Čekal na právo, a hle -- bezpráví, na spravedlnost, a hle -- křik.

5:7  Vinice zajisté Hospodina zástupů dům Izraelský jest, a muži Judští révové milí jemu. Očekával pak soudu, a aj, nátisk; spravedlnosti, a aj, křik.

5:8  Běda těm, kteří připojují dům k domu a slučují pole s polem, takže nezbývá žádné místo, jako byste jen vy byli usedlíci v zemi.

5:9  These things are in my ears, saith the Lord of hosts: Unless many great and fair houses shall become desolate, without an inhabitant.

5:9  In mine ears said the Lord of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

5:9  V uších mi zní slovo Hospodina zástupů: „Ano, zpustnou četné domy, i velké a pěkné budou liduprázdné.

5:9  Hospodin zástupů přede mnou prohlásil: Jistěže mnohé domy zchátrají, honosné vily se vylidní.

5:9  ⌈Slyšel jsem Hospodina⌉ zástupů: Jistě mnohé domy zpustnou, i veliké a hezké domy budou bez obyvatel.

5:9  V uši mé řekl Hospodin zástupů: Jistě žeť domové mnozí zpustnou, velicí a krásní bez obyvatele budou.

5:11  Běda těm, kteří za časného jitra táhnou za opojným nápojem a až do setmění je rozpaluje víno.

5:11  Běda těm, kdo ráno vstávají a hned se ženou za pitím, kdo vysedávají dlouho do noci, než se vínem rozvášní!

5:11  Běda těm, kteří vstávají brzy ráno a shánějí pivo, těm, kdo za soumraku prodlévají, až je víno rozpálí.

5:11  Běda těm, kteříž ráno vstávajíce, chodí po opilství, a trvají při tom do večera, až je víno i rozpaluje.

5:12  The harp, and the lyre, and, the timbrel and the pipe, and wine are in your feasts: and the work of the Lord you regard not, nor do you consider the works of his hands.

5:12  And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.

5:12  Citara a harfa, bubínek a píšťala a víno jsou na jejich pitkách, ale na dílo Hospodinovo neberou zřetel a dílo jeho rukou nevidí.

5:12  Citery, loutny, tamburíny, píšťaly, víno na jejich hodech nechybí. Hospodinovy skutky je ale nezajímají, dílo jeho rukou vůbec nevidí.

5:12  Na jejich hostinách je lyra a harfa, tamburína a flétna i víno, ale na Hospodinovy skutky nehledí a dílo jeho rukou nevidí.

5:12  A harfa, loutna a buben, a píšťalka, a víno bývá na hodech jejich; na skutky pak Hospodinovy nehledí, a díla rukou jeho nespatřují.

5:13  Proto bude můj lid vystěhován, neboť nemá poznání. I nejváženější budou hladovět, jeho hlučící dav bude prahnout žízní.

5:13  A proto můj lid půjde do zajetí, neboť mu chybí poznání; jeho urození budou umírat hlady, obyčejní budou žízní vyprahlí!

5:14  Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

5:14  Podsvětí roztáhne svůj chřtán a dokořán rozevře svou tlamu. Do něho sestoupí jeho důstojnost i jeho hlučící dav, jeho hukot a jásot.

5:14  Záhrobí už proto rozvírá svůj chřtán, jeho bezedná tlama zeje dokořán; výkvět i spodina spadne tam, celý ten rozjařený bujný dav!

5:14  Proto podsvětí rozevřelo svůj chřtán a bezmezně otevřelo svá ústa a důstojnost Jeruzaléma i jeho dav, jeho hukot i jásání do něho sestoupí.

5:14  Pročež rozšířilo i peklo hrdlo své, a rozedřelo nad míru ústa svá, i sstoupí do něho slavní její a množství její, i hluk její, i ti, kteříž se veselí v ní.

5:14  Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

5:14  Propterea dilatavit infernus animam suam, et aperuit os suum absque ullo termino ; et descendent fortes ejus, et populus ejus, et sublimes gloriosique ejus, ad eum.

5:15  And man shall be brought down, and man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be brought low.

5:15  And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

5:15  Sehnut bude člověk a ponížen muž, oči zpupné budou poníženy.

5:15  Člověk bude sražen a každý ponížen, pohledy pyšných skloní se.

5:15  And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be abased.

5:15  So man is brought low, mankind is humbled, and the eyes of the arrogant ones are humbled;

5:15  Et incurvabitur homo, et humiliabitur vir, et oculi sublimium deprimentur.

5:16  And the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and the holy God shall be sanctified in justice.

5:16  But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

5:16  Hospodin zástupů se však vyvýší soudem a svatý Bůh se prokáže svatým spravedlností.

5:16  Hospodin zástupů bude vyvýšen v soudu a svatý Bůh bude posvěcen v spravedlnosti.

5:16  But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

5:17  Jako na své pastvině se tam budou pást beránci, a kde zůstaly trosky po zbohatlících, budou jíst bezdomovci.

5:17  Ovce se budou pást jako na vlastních loukách, v troskách boháčů se budou pást kůzlata.

5:17  Beránci se budou pást ⌈jako na⌉ svých pastvinách a pustiny ⌈po vykrmených kusech budou spásat příchozí.⌉

5:17  I pásti se budou beránkové podlé obyčeje svého, a ostatky těch tučných, navrátíce se, jísti budou.

5:18  Běda těm, kdo táhnou vinu provazy klamu a jako popruhem u vozu hřích,

5:18  Běda těm, kteříž táhnou nepravost za provazy marnosti, a jako provazem u vozu hřích;

5:24  Proto jako oheň polyká strniště a seno mizí v plamenech, právě tak ztrouchniví jejich kořeny a jejich květy vítr rozpráší. Zákon Hospodina zástupů totiž zavrhli, slovy Svatého izraelského pohrdli!

5:24  Proto jako jazyk ohně požírá strniště a suchá tráva v plamenu klesne, tak jejich kořen shnije a jejich květ odlétne jako prach, protože pohrdli zákonem Hospodina zástupů a řeč Svatého Izraele znevážili.

5:24  Z té příčiny, jakož plamen ohně zžírá strniště, a plevy plamen v nic obrací, tak kořen jejich bude jako shnilina, a květ jejich jako prach vzejde; nebo zavrhli zákon Hospodina zástupů, a řečí svatého Izraelského pohrdli.

5:25  Hospodin proto vzplál hněvem na svůj lid, napřáhl proti němu ruku a udeřil, takže se hory zatřásly – v ulicích jako smetí leží mrtvoly! Tím vším ale jeho hněv stále nekončí, jeho ruka se ještě chystá udeřit.

5:25  Proto vzplanul proti jeho lidu Hospodinův hněv, vztáhl proti němu ruku a ubil ho. Hory se třásly a jejich mrtvoly byly jako smetí na ulicích. Ani v tom všem se jeho hněv neodvrátil a jeho ruka je stále vztažená.

5:25  Pročež rozpáliv se prchlivostí Hospodin na lid svůj, a vztáh ruku svou na něj, porazil jej, tak že se hory zatřásly, a těla mrtvá jejich jako hnůj u prostřed ulic. V tom však ve všem neodvrátila se prchlivost jeho, ale předce ruka jeho jest vztažená.
