Chapter 11
Mark ABP 11:1  And when they approached unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany to the mount of the olives, he sends two of his disciples.
Mark ABP 11:2  And he says to them, Go into the town in front of you! And immediately entering into it, you will find a foal being tied, upon which not one of men has sat; having untied it, lead it!
Mark ABP 11:3  And if anyone should say to you, Why do you do this? Say that, Its master [2need 1has]; and immediately he will send it here!
Mark ABP 11:4  And they went forth and found the foal being tied at the door outside upon the plaza; and they untied it.
Mark ABP 11:5  And some of the ones standing there said to them, What do you do untying the foal?
Mark ABP 11:6  And they spoke to them as Jesus gave charge; and they allowed them.
Mark ABP 11:7  And they led the foal to Jesus, and they put upon it their cloaks; and he sat upon him.
Mark ABP 11:8  And many [2their cloaks 1spread out] in the way; and others [2boughs 1beat] from out of the trees, and spread them out in the way.
Mark ABP 11:9  And the ones leading before, and the ones following, cried out, saying, Hosanna, being blessed is the one coming in the name of the Lord.
Mark ABP 11:10  Being blessed is the coming kingdom in the name of the Lord, of the one of our father David. Hosanna in the highest.
Mark ABP 11:11  And [2entered 3into 4Jerusalem 1Jesus], and into the temple. And having looked round about all, [5late 4already 3being 1the 2hour], he went forth into Bethany with the twelve.
Mark ABP 11:12  And in the next day of their coming forth from Bethany, he hungered.
Mark ABP 11:13  And beholding a fig-tree far off having leaves, he went to see if he shall find anything on it. And having come upon it, [2nothing 1he found] except leaves; [3not 1for 2it was] the season of figs.
Mark ABP 11:14  And responding Jesus said to it, No longer from you into the eon [2not one 3fruit be 1may] to eat. And [2heard 1his disciples].
Mark ABP 11:15  And they come into Jerusalem; and Jesus having entered into the temple began to cast out the ones selling and buying in the temple; and the tables of the money-changers and the chairs of the ones selling the doves he overturned;
Mark ABP 11:16  and he did not allow that any carry vessels through the temple.
Mark ABP 11:17  And he taught, saying to them, Has it not been written that, My house [2a house 3of prayer 1shall be called] by all the nations? But you made it a cave of robbers.
Mark ABP 11:18  And [6heard 1the 2scribes 3and 4the 5chief priests], and they sought how they should destroy him; for they feared him, for all the multitude were overwhelmed by his teaching.
Mark ABP 11:19  And when evening became, he went forth outside the city.
Mark ABP 11:20  And in the morning coming near, they beheld the fig-tree being dried up from the roots.
Mark ABP 11:21  And calling to mind, Peter says to him, Rabbi, see! the fig-tree which you cursed is dried up.
Mark ABP 11:22  And responding Jesus says to them, Have belief of God!
Mark ABP 11:23  For amen I say to you, that who ever should say to this mountain, Be lifted, and be thrown into the sea! and should not examine in his heart, but should trust that what he says takes place, it will be to him what ever he should say.
Mark ABP 11:24  On account of this I say to you, All as much as [2praying 1you ask], trust that you receive! and it will be to you.
Mark ABP 11:25  And whenever you stand firmly praying, forgive! if you have anything against anyone, that also your father, the one in the heavens should forgive you your transgressions.
Mark ABP 11:26  But if you do not forgive, not even your father, the one in the heavens, shall forgive your transgressions.
Mark ABP 11:27  And they come again into Jerusalem. And in the temple during his walking, there comes to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders.
Mark ABP 11:28  And they say to him, By what authority do you do these things? and, Who [2to you 3this authority 1gave] that you should do these things?
Mark ABP 11:29  And Jesus answering said to them, [3shall ask 4you 1And 2I] one matter, and you answer me, and I will tell to you by what authority I do these things!
Mark ABP 11:30  The immersion of John, [2from 3heaven 1was it] or from men? You answer me!
Mark ABP 11:31  And they considered it among themselves, saying, If we should say, From heaven, he will say, Why then did you not believe him?
Mark ABP 11:32  But if we should say, From men -- they feared the people; for all held that John really was a prophet.
Mark ABP 11:33  And answering they say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus answering says to them, Nor I will tell you by what authority these things I do.
