Chapter 32
Psal DRC 32:1  A psalm for David. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright.
Psal VulgClem 32:1  Psalmus David. Exsultate, justi, in Domino ; rectos decet collaudatio.
Psal KJV 32:1  Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Psal DRC 32:2  Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.
Psal VulgClem 32:2  Confitemini Domino in cithara ; in psalterio decem chordarum psallite illi.
Psal KJV 32:2  Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psal DRC 32:3  Sing to him a new canticle, sing well unto him with a loud noise.
Psal VulgClem 32:3  Cantate ei canticum novum ; bene psallite ei in vociferatione.
Psal KJV 32:3  When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Psal DRC 32:4  For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done with faithfulness.
Psal VulgClem 32:4  Quia rectum est verbum Domini, et omnia opera ejus in fide.
Psal KJV 32:4  For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
Psal DRC 32:5  He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
Psal VulgClem 32:5  Diligit misericordiam et judicium ; misericordia Domini plena est terra.
Psal KJV 32:5  I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Psal DRC 32:6  By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:
Psal VulgClem 32:6  Verbo Domini cæli firmati sunt, et spiritu oris ejus omnis virtus eorum.
Psal KJV 32:6  For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Psal DRC 32:7  Gathering together the waters of the sea, as in a vessel; laying up the depths in storehouses.
Psal VulgClem 32:7  Congregans sicut in utre aquas maris ; ponens in thesauris abyssos.
Psal KJV 32:7  Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psal DRC 32:8  Let all the earth fear the Lord, and let all the inhabitants of the world be in awe of him.
Psal VulgClem 32:8  Timeat Dominum omnis terra ; ab eo autem commoveantur omnes inhabitantes orbem.
Psal KJV 32:8  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psal DRC 32:9  For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.
Psal VulgClem 32:9  Quoniam ipse dixit, et facta sunt ; ipse mandavit et creata sunt.
Psal KJV 32:9  Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Psal DRC 32:10  The Lord bringeth to nought the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes.
Psal VulgClem 32:10  Dominus dissipat consilia gentium ; reprobat autem cogitationes populorum, et reprobat consilia principum.
Psal KJV 32:10  Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
Psal DRC 32:11  But the counsel of the Lord standeth for ever: the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Psal VulgClem 32:11  Consilium autem Domini in æternum manet ; cogitationes cordis ejus in generatione et generationem.
Psal KJV 32:11  Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Psal DRC 32:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: the people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance.

Psal DRC 32:13  The Lord hath looked from heaven: he hath beheld all the sons of men.

Psal DRC 32:14  From his habitation which he hath prepared, he hath looked upon all that dwell on the earth.

Psal DRC 32:15  He who hath made the hearts of every one of them: who understandeth all their works.

Psal DRC 32:16  The king is not saved by a great army: nor shall the giant be saved by his own great strength.
Psal VulgClem 32:16  Non salvatur rex per multam virtutem, et gigas non salvabitur in multitudine virtutis suæ.

Psal DRC 32:17  Vain is the horse for safety: neither shall he be saved by the abundance of his strength.

Psal DRC 32:18  Behold the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him: and on them that hope in his mercy.

Psal DRC 32:19  To deliver their souls from death; and feed them in famine.

Psal DRC 32:20  Our soul waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helper and protector.

Psal DRC 32:21  For in him our heart shall rejoice: and in his holy name we have trusted.

Psal DRC 32:22  Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, as we have hoped in thee.
