32:1  A psalm for David. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright.

32:1  Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

32:4  Ve dne v noci na mně těžce ležela tvá ruka, vysýchal mně morek jako v letním žáru.

32:4  Tvá ruka tížila mě ve dne v noci, z mé mízy stal se letní suchopár. séla

32:5  Svůj hřích jsem před tebou přiznal, svoji nepravost jsem nezakrýval, řekl jsem: „Vyznám se Hospodinu ze své nevěrnosti.“ A ty jsi ze mne sňal nepravost, hřích můj.

32:5  Svůj hřích jsem však potom doznal tobě, své provinění jsem odhalil. Řekl jsem: „Vyznám Hospodinu své zločiny!“ a tys mi odpustil mou vinu a hřích. séla

32:6  By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:

32:6  For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

32:6  Proto ať se každý věrný k tobě modlí v čas, kdy lze tě ještě nalézt. I kdyby se vzdulo mocné vodstvo, k němu nedosáhne.

32:6  Ať k tobě modlí se každý věrný, dokud je čas tě naleznout; potom k nim nedosáhnou ani přívaly mocných vod.

32:6  Proto ať se k tobě modlí každý věrný v čase, kdy tě lze nalézt. Ani příval velkých vod k němu nedosáhne.

32:6  Za to se tobě bude modliti každý svatý, v času příhodném k nalezení tebe; pročež vody mnohé v rozvodnění k němu nedosáhnou.

32:7  Tys má skrýše, ty mě chráníš před soužením, nad tím, že jsem vyvázl, zaplesá všechno kolem.

32:7  Ty jsi má skrýše, před úzkostí mě chráníš, vítězným jásotem mě obklopíš! séla

32:8  Dám ti prozíravost, ukážu ti cestu, kterou půjdeš, budu ti radit, spočine na tobě mé oko.

32:9  Nebuďte jako kůň či mezek bez rozumu: toho zdobí ohlávka a uzda na zkrocení, jinak ho u sebe neudržíš.

32:9  „Nebuďte nerozumní jako kůň a mezek, co musí být zkroceni uzdou a ohlávkou, než tě poslechnou.“

32:9  Nebuďte jako kůň či jako mezek bez rozumu. ⌈Ty je třeba krotit uzdou a udidlem⌉ -- jinak k tobě nepřijdou.
