Chapter 50
Psal DRC 50:1  Unto the end, a psalm of David,

Psal KJV 50:1  The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
Psal DRC 50:2  When Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had sinned with Bethsabee.
Psal VulgClem 50:2  cum venit ad eum Nathan propheta, quando intravit ad Bethsabee.
Psal KJV 50:2  Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
Psal DRC 50:3  Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy. And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my iniquity.
Psal VulgClem 50:3  Miserere mei, Deus, secundum magnam misericordiam tuam ; et secundum multitudinem miserationum tuarum, dele iniquitatem meam.
Psal KJV 50:3  Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
Psal DRC 50:4  Wash me yet more from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psal VulgClem 50:4  Amplius lava me ab iniquitate mea, et a peccato meo munda me.
Psal KJV 50:4  He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
Psal DRC 50:5  For I know my iniquity, and my sin is always before me.

Psal KJV 50:5  Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
Psal DRC 50:6  To thee only have I sinned, and have done evil before thee: that thou mayst be justified in thy words, and mayst overcome when thou art judged.
Psal VulgClem 50:6  Tibi soli peccavi, et malum coram te feci ; ut justificeris in sermonibus tuis, et vincas cum judicaris.
Psal KJV 50:6  And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
Psal DRC 50:7  For behold I was conceived in iniquities; and in sins did my mother conceive me.
Psal VulgClem 50:7  Ecce enim in iniquitatibus conceptus sum, et in peccatis concepit me mater mea.
Psal KJV 50:7  Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
Psal DRC 50:8  For behold thou hast loved truth: the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me.
Psal VulgClem 50:8  Ecce enim veritatem dilexisti ; incerta et occulta sapientiæ tuæ manifestasti mihi.
Psal KJV 50:8  I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
Psal DRC 50:9  Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
Psal VulgClem 50:9  Asperges me hyssopo, et mundabor ; lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor.
Psal KJV 50:9  I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
Psal DRC 50:10  To my hearing thou shalt give joy and gladness: and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice.

Psal KJV 50:10  For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
Psal DRC 50:11  Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Psal VulgClem 50:11  Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis, et omnes iniquitates meas dele.
Psal KJV 50:11  I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
Psal DRC 50:12  Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels.
Psal VulgClem 50:12  Cor mundum crea in me, Deus, et spiritum rectum innova in visceribus meis.
Psal KJV 50:12  If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
Psal DRC 50:13  Cast me not away from thy face; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Psal VulgClem 50:13  Ne projicias me a facie tua, et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me.
Psal KJV 50:13  Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Psal DRC 50:14  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and strengthen me with a perfect spirit.

Psal KJV 50:14  Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
Psal DRC 50:15  I will teach the unjust thy ways: and the wicked shall be converted to thee.
Psal VulgClem 50:15  Docebo iniquos vias tuas, et impii ad te convertentur.
Psal KJV 50:15  And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Psal DRC 50:16  Deliver me from blood, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall extol thy justice.
Psal VulgClem 50:16  Libera me de sanguinibus, Deus, Deus salutis meæ, et exsultabit lingua mea justitiam tuam.
Psal KJV 50:16  But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
Psal DRC 50:17  O Lord, thou wilt open my lips: and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
Psal VulgClem 50:17  Domine, labia mea aperies, et os meum annuntiabit laudem tuam.
Psal KJV 50:17  Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
Psal DRC 50:18  For if thou hadst desired sacrifice, I would indeed have given it: with burnt offerings thou wilt not be delighted.
Psal VulgClem 50:18  Quoniam si voluisses sacrificium, dedissem utique ; holocaustis non delectaberis.
Psal KJV 50:18  When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
Psal DRC 50:19  A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Psal VulgClem 50:19  Sacrificium Deo spiritus contribulatus ; cor contritum et humiliatum, Deus, non despicies.
Psal KJV 50:19  Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
Psal DRC 50:20  Deal favourably, O Lord, in thy good will with Sion; that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
Psal VulgClem 50:20  Benigne fac, Domine, in bona voluntate tua Sion, ut ædificentur muri Jerusalem.
Psal KJV 50:20  Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
Psal DRC 50:21  Then shalt thou accept the sacrifice of justice, oblations and whole burnt offerings: then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.
Psal VulgClem 50:21  Tunc acceptabis sacrificium justitiæ, oblationes et holocausta ; tunc imponent super altare tuum vitulos.
Psal KJV 50:21  These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
