Chapter 27
Deut DRC 27:1  And Moses with the ancients of Israel commanded the people, saying: Keep every commandment that I command you this day.
Deut VulgClem 27:1  Præcepit autem Moyses et seniores Israël populo, dicentes : Custodite omne mandatum quod præcipio vobis hodie.
Deut KJV 27:1  And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
Deut DRC 27:2  And when you are passed over the Jordan into the land which the Lord thy God will give thee, thou shalt set up great stones, and shalt plaster them over with plaster,
Deut VulgClem 27:2  Cumque transieritis Jordanem in terram, quam Dominus Deus tuus dabit tibi, eriges ingentes lapides, et calce lævigabis eos,
Deut KJV 27:2  And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
Deut DRC 27:3  That thou mayst write on them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over the Jordan: that thou mayst enter into the land which the Lord thy God will give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as he swore to thy fathers.
Deut VulgClem 27:3  ut possis in eis scribere omnia verba legis hujus, Jordane transmisso : ut introëas terram, quam Dominus Deus tuus dabit tibi, terram lacte et melle manantem, sicut juravit patribus tuis.
Deut KJV 27:3  And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Deut DRC 27:4  Therefore when you are passed over the Jordan, set up the stones which I command you this day, in mount Hebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster:
Deut VulgClem 27:4  Quando ergo transieritis Jordanem, erigite lapides, quos ego hodie præcipio vobis in monte Hebal, et lævigabis eos calce :
Deut KJV 27:4  Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
Deut DRC 27:5  And thou shalt build there an altar to the Lord thy God, of stones which iron hath not touched,
Deut VulgClem 27:5  et ædificabis ibi altare Domino Deo tuo de lapidibus, quos ferrum non tetigit,
Deut KJV 27:5  And there shalt thou build an altar unto the Lord thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
Deut DRC 27:6  And of stones not fashioned nor polished: and thou shalt offer upon it holocausts to the Lord thy God:
Deut VulgClem 27:6  et de saxis informibus et impolitis : et offeres super eo holocausta Domino Deo tuo,
Deut KJV 27:6  Thou shalt build the altar of the Lord thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the Lord thy God:
Deut DRC 27:7  And shalt immolate peace victims, and eat there, and feast before the Lord thy God.

Deut KJV 27:7  And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the Lord thy God.

Deut DRC 27:9  And Moses and the priests of the race of Levi said to all Israel: Attend, and hear, O Israel: This day thou art made the people of the Lord thy God:
Deut VulgClem 27:9  Dixeruntque Moyses et sacerdotes Levitici generis ad omnem Israëlem : Attende, et audi, Israël : hodie factus es populus Domini Dei tui :
Deut KJV 27:9  And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the Lord thy God.
Deut DRC 27:10  Thou shalt hear his voice, and do the commandments and justices which I command thee.

Deut DRC 27:12  These shall stand upon mount Garizim to bless the people, when you are passed the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
Deut VulgClem 27:12  Hi stabunt ad benedicendum populo super montem Garizim, Jordane transmisso : Simeon, Levi, Judas, Issachar, Joseph, et Benjamin.
Deut KJV 27:12  These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
Deut DRC 27:13  And over against them shall stand on mount Hebal to curse: Ruben, Gad, and Aser, and Zabulon, Dan, and Nephtali.
Deut VulgClem 27:13  Et e regione isti stabunt ad maledicendum in monte Hebal : Ruben, Gad, et Aser, et Zabulon, Dan, et Nephthali.
Deut KJV 27:13  And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
Deut DRC 27:14  And the Levites shall pronounce, and say to all the men of Israel with a loud voice:

Deut KJV 27:14  And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
Deut DRC 27:15  Cursed be the man that maketh a graven and molten thing, the abomination of the Lord, the work of the hands of artificers, and shall put it in a secret place: and all the people shall answer and say: Amen.
Deut VulgClem 27:15  Maledictus homo qui facit sculptile et conflatile, abominationem Domini, opus manuum artificum, ponetque illud in abscondito : et respondebit omnis populus, et dicet : Amen.
Deut KJV 27:15  Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
Deut DRC 27:16  Cursed be he that honoureth not his father and mother: and all the people shall say: Amen.

Deut KJV 27:16  Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Deut DRC 27:20  Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife, and uncovereth his bed: and all the people shall say: Amen.
Deut VulgClem 27:20  Maledictus qui dormit cum uxore patris sui, et revelat operimentum lectuli ejus : et dicet omnis populus : Amen.
Deut KJV 27:20  Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he uncovereth his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut DRC 27:21  Cursed be he that lieth with any beast: and all the people shall say: Amen.

Deut KJV 27:21  Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut DRC 27:22  Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or of his mother: and all the people shall say: Amen.
Deut VulgClem 27:22  Maledictus qui dormit cum sorore sua, filia patris sui, vel matris suæ : et dicet omnis populus : Amen.
Deut KJV 27:22  Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut DRC 27:23  Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law: and all the people shall say: Amen.

Deut DRC 27:25  Cursed be he that taketh gifts, to slay an innocent person: and all the people shall say: Amen.

Deut KJV 27:26  Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
