Gene DRC 43:3  Juda answered: The man declared unto us with the attestation of an oath, saying: You shall not see my face, unless you bring your youngest brother with you.
Gene KJV 43:3  And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.
Gene CzeCEP 43:3  Juda odvětil: „Ten muž nás důrazně varoval a prohlásil: ‚Mou tvář nespatříte, nebude-li s vámi váš bratr.‘
Gene CzeB21 43:3  Juda mu odpověděl: „Ten muž nás přísně varoval: ‚Nechoďte mi na oči bez svého bratra!‘
Gene CzeCSP 43:3  Juda mu odpověděl: Ten muž nás výslovně varoval slovy: Nespatříte mou tvář, nebude–li váš bratr s vámi.
Gene CzeBKR 43:3  I mluvil k němu Juda těmito slovy: Velice se zařekl muž ten, řka: Neuzříte tváři mé, nebude-li bratr váš s vámi.
Gene Webster 43:3  And Judah spoke to him, saying, The man did solemnly protest to us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother [be] with you.

Gene VulgClem 43:3  Respondit Judas : Denuntiavit nobis vir ille sub attestatione jurisjurandi, dicens : Non videbitis faciem meam, nisi fratrem vestrum minimum adduxeritis vobiscum.
Gene DRC 43:4  If therefore thou wilt send him with us, we will set out together, and will buy necessaries for thee.
Gene KJV 43:4  If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food:
Gene CzeCEP 43:4  Jsi-li ochoten pustit s námi našeho bratra, sestoupíme do Egypta a nakoupíme ti potravu.
Gene CzeB21 43:4  Pošleš-li s námi našeho bratra, půjdeme ti koupit jídlo.
Gene CzeCSP 43:4  Jestliže pošleš našeho bratra s námi, sestoupíme do Egypta a nakoupíme ti potravu.

Gene NHEB 43:4  If you'll send our brother with us, we'll go down and buy you food,
Gene AKJV 43:4  If you will send our brother with us, we will go down and buy you food:
Gene VulgClem 43:4  Si ergo vis eum mittere nobiscum, pergemus pariter, et ememus tibi necessaria :
Gene DRC 43:5  But if thou wilt not, we will not go: for the man, as we have often said, declared unto us, saying: You shall not see my face without your youngest brother.
Gene KJV 43:5  But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.
Gene CzeCEP 43:5  Nejsi-li však ochoten ho pustit, nesestoupíme. Ten muž nám přece řekl: ‚Mou tvář nespatříte, nebude-li s vámi váš bratr.‘“
Gene CzeB21 43:5  Nepošleš-li ho, nepůjdeme. Ten muž nám přece řekl: ‚Nechoďte mi na oči bez svého bratra!‘“
Gene CzeCSP 43:5  Ale jestli ho nepošleš, nesestoupíme, protože ten muž nám řekl: Neuvidíte mou tvář, nebude–li váš bratr s vámi.
Gene CzeBKR 43:5  Pakli nepošleš, nepůjdeme. Nebo pověděl nám muž ten: Neuzříte tváři mé, nebude-li bratr váš s vámi.
Gene Webster 43:5  But if thou wilt not send [him], we will not go down, for the man said to us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother [be] with you.
Gene NHEB 43:5  but if you'll not send him, we'll not go down, for the man said to us, 'You shall not see my face, unless your brother is with you.'"
Gene AKJV 43:5  But if you will not send him, we will not go down: for the man said to us, You shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.
Gene DRC 43:6  Israel said to them: You have done this for my misery, in that you told him you had also another brother.
Gene KJV 43:6  And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?
Gene Webster 43:6  And Israel said, Why dealt ye [so] ill with me, [as] to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?
Gene NHEB 43:6  Israel said, "Why did you treat me so badly, telling the man that you had another brother?"
Gene AKJV 43:6  And Israel said, Why dealt you so ill with me, as to tell the man whether you had yet a brother?
Gene DRC 43:7  But they answered: The man asked us in order concerning our kindred: if our father lived: if we had a brother: and we answered him regularly, according to what he demanded: could we know that he would say: Bring hither your brother with you?
Gene KJV 43:7  And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
Máte-li bratra?
Gene Webster 43:7  And they said, The man asked us strictly concerning our state, and our kindred, saying, [Is] your father yet alive? have ye [another] brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: Could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
Gene NHEB 43:7  They said, "The man asked directly concerning ourselves, and concerning our relatives, saying, 'Is your father still alive? Have you another brother?' We just answered his questions. Is there any way we could know that he would say, 'Bring your brother down?'"
Gene AKJV 43:7  And they said, The man asked us straightly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have you another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
Gene DRC 43:8  And Juda said to his father: Send the boy with me, that we may set forward, and may live: lest both we and our children perish.
Gene KJV 43:8  And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.
Tak zůstaneme naživu a nezemřeme - ani my ani ty ani naši maličcí.
Gene CzeB21 43:8  Juda tehdy svému otci Izraelovi navrhl: „Pošli toho chlapce se mnou. Nech nás vstát a jít, ať zůstaneme naživu a nezemřeme my ani ty ani naše děti!
Gene CzeCSP 43:8  Pak Juda řekl svému otci Izraelovi: Pošli chlapce se mnou, ať vstaneme a vyjdeme, abychom zůstali naživu a nezemřeli my ani ty ani naše děti.
Gene CzeBKR 43:8  I řekl Juda Izraelovi, otci svému: Pošli to pachole se mnou, a vstanouce, půjdeme, abychom živi byli, a nezemřeli, i my, i ty, i maličcí naši.
Gene Webster 43:8  And Judah said to Israel, his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, [and] also our little ones.

Gene AKJV 43:8  And Judah said to Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and you, and also our little ones.
Gene VulgClem 43:8  Judas quoque dixit patri suo : Mitte puerum mecum, ut proficiscamur, et possimus vivere : ne moriamur nos et parvuli nostri.
Gene DRC 43:9  I take the boy upon me, require him at my hand: unless I bring him again, and restore him to thee, I will be guilty of sin against thee for ever.
Gene KJV 43:9  I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:
Jestliže ho nepřivedu k tobě a nepostavím ho před tebe, budu před tebou navždy vinen.
Gene CzeBKR 43:9  Já slibuji za něj; z ruky mé vyhledávej ho. Jestliže nepřivedu ho k tobě, a nepostavím ho před tebou, vinen budu hříchem tobě po všecky dny.
Gene Webster 43:9  I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not to thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:
Gene NHEB 43:9  I'll be collateral for him. From my hand will you require him. If I do not bring him to you, and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever,
Gene AKJV 43:9  I will be surety for him; of my hand shall you require him: if I bring him not to you, and set him before you, then let me bear the blame for ever:
Gene VulgClem 43:9  Ego suscipio puerum : de manu mea require illum : nisi reduxero, et reddidero eum tibi, ero peccati reus in te omni tempore.
Gene DRC 43:10  If delay had not been made, we had been here again the second time.
Gene KJV 43:10  For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.
Gene Webster 43:10  For except we had delayed, surely now we had returned this second time.
Gene NHEB 43:10  for if we hadn't delayed, surely we would have returned a second time by now."

Gene VulgClem 43:10  Si non intercessisset dilatio, jam vice alter venissemus.
Gene DRC 43:11  Then Israel said to them: If it must needs be so, do what you will: take of the best fruits of the land in your vessels, and carry down presents to the man, a little balm, and honey, and storax, myrrh, turpentine, and almonds.
Gene KJV 43:11  And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
Gene CzeCEP 43:11  Otec Izrael jim řekl: „Když to tak musí být, učiňte toto: Vezměte si do nádob něco opěvovaných vzácností země a doneste je dolů tomu muži jako dar: trochu mastixu a trochu medu, ladanum a masti, pistácie a mandle.
Gene CzeB21 43:11  Jejich otec Izrael jim nakonec řekl: „Ať se stane, co se musí stát. Udělejte tohle: Naberte do svých měchů nejvybranější plody země a odneste je tomu muži jako dar: něco balzámu, něco medu, vonné pryskyřice a myrhy, také pistácie a mandle.
Gene CzeCSP 43:11  Jejich otec Izrael jim řekl: Když je to tak, udělejte tedy toto: Vezměte z ⌈nejlepších plodů⌉ země do svých nádob a sneste tomu muži jako dar trochu balzámu, trochu medu, ladanum, myrhu, pistácie a mandle.
Gene CzeBKR 43:11  I řekl jim Izrael otec jejich: Jestližeť tak býti musí, učiňtež toto: Nabeřte nejvzácnějších užitků země do nádob svých, a doneste muži tomu dar, něco kadidla, a trochu strdi, a vonných věcí a mirry, daktylů a mandlů.
Gene Webster 43:11  And their father Israel said to them, If [it must be] so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry to the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

Gene AKJV 43:11  And their father Israel said to them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
Gene VulgClem 43:11  Igitur Israël pater eorum dixit ad eos : Si sic necesse est, facite quod vultis : sumite de optimis terræ fructibus in vasis vestris, et deferte viro munera, modicum resinæ, et mellis, et storacis, stactes, et terebinthi, et amygdalarum.
Gene DRC 43:12  And take with you double money, and carry back what you found in your sacks, lest perhaps it was done by mistake.
Gene KJV 43:12  And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:
Gene CzeCEP 43:12  Vezměte s sebou dvojnásobnou částku stříbra a stříbro, které vám bylo vráceno do žoků, osobně vraťte; snad to byl omyl.
Gene CzeB21 43:12  Vezměte s sebou dvojnásob stříbra, i to vrácené navrch vašich vaků, a odneste to s sebou zpět – snad šlo o omyl.
Gene CzeCSP 43:12  Vezměte s sebou dvojnásobně peněz. Peníze, které byly zpět navráceny nahoru do vašich žoků, vlastnoručně vraťte; možná to byl omyl.

Gene KJV 43:14  And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
Gene CzeCEP 43:14  Sám Bůh všemohoucí ať vás obdaří před tváří toho muže slitováním, aby propustil vašeho druhého bratra i Benjamína. Teď zůstanu úplně bez dětí!“
Gene CzeB21 43:14  Kéž vám u něj Všemohoucí Bůh dopřeje slitování, aby s vámi propustil vašeho dalšího bratra i Benjamína. A já, mám-li přijít o syny, ať o ně přijdu!“
Gene CzeCSP 43:14  A Bůh Všemohoucí kéž vám dá dojít slitování před tím mužem, a on vám propustí vašeho druhého bratra i Benjamína.
Gene CzeBKR 43:14  A Bůh silný všemohoucí dejž vám najíti milost před mužem tím, ať propustí vám onoho bratra vašeho i tohoto Beniamina. Jáť pak zbaven jsa synů, jako osiřelý budu.
