I Ki VulgClem 2:1  Appropinquaverunt autem dies David ut moreretur : præcepitque Salomoni filio suo, dicens :
I Ki DRC 2:2  I am going the way of all flesh: take thou courage and shew thyself a man.
I Ki KJV 2:2  I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
I Ki CzeCEP 2:2  „Odcházím cestou všeho pozemského.
I Ki CzeCSP 2:2  Já jdu cestou ⌈všeho pozemského.⌉ Posilni se a vzmuž se.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:2  Jáť již odcházím podlé způsobu všech lidí. Proto posilniž se a měj se zmužile,
I Ki Webster 2:2  I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man;
I Ki NHEB 2:2  "I am going the way of all the earth. You be strong therefore, and show yourself a man;
I Ki AKJV 2:2  I go the way of all the earth: be you strong therefore, and show yourself a man;
I Ki VulgClem 2:2  Ego ingredior viam universæ terræ : confortare, et esto vir.
I Ki DRC 2:3  And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and observe his ceremonies, and his precepts, and judgments, and testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses: that thou mayst understand all thou dost, and whithersoever thou shalt turn thyself:
I Ki KJV 2:3  And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
I Ki CzeB21 2:3  a zachovávej, co ti svěřil Hospodin, tvůj Bůh.
I Ki Webster 2:3  And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.
I Ki NHEB 2:3  and keep the instruction of the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself.
I Ki AKJV 2:3  And keep the charge of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself:
I Ki DRC 2:4  That the Lord may confirm his words, which he hath spoken of me, saying: If thy children shall take heed to their ways, and shall walk before me in truth, with all their heart, and with all their soul, there shall not be taken away from thee a man on the throne of Israel.
I Ki KJV 2:4  That the Lord may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:4  A Hospodin splní své slovo, které mi dal: ‚Budou-li tvoji synové dbát na svou cestu tak, aby chodili přede mnou věrně celým srdcem a celou duší, nebude z izraelského trůnu vyhlazen následník z tvého rodu.‘
I Ki CzeB21 2:4  Potom Hospodin splní slovo, které mi dal: ‚Budou-li tví synové dbát na svou cestu a budou-li věrně, z celého srdce a ze vší duše žít přede mnou, pak na izraelském trůnu nikdy nebude chybět tvůj potomek.‘
I Ki CzeCSP 2:4  a aby Hospodin naplnil své slovo, které ke mně promluvil: Jestliže budou tvoji synové dbát na svou cestu a ⌈chodit přede mnou⌉ věrně, ⌈celým svým srdcem⌉ a celou svou duší, nebude ti vyhlazen muž z izraelského trůnu.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:4  A aby naplnil Hospodin slovo své, kteréž mi zaslíbil, mluvě: Budou-li ostříhati synové tvoji cesty své, chodíce přede mnou v pravdě z celého srdce svého a z celé duše své, tak mluvě: Že nebude vypléněn po tobě muž z stolice Izraelské.
I Ki Webster 2:4  That the LORD may continue his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
I Ki NHEB 2:4  That the Lord may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, 'If your children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you,' he said, 'a man on the throne of Israel.'
I Ki AKJV 2:4  That the LORD may continue his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, If your children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
I Ki VulgClem 2:4  ut confirmet Dominus sermones suos quos locutus est de me, dicens : Si custodierint filii tui vias suas, et ambulaverint coram me in veritate, in omni corde suo et in omni anima sua, non auferetur tibi vir de solio Israël.
I Ki DRC 2:5  Thou knowest also what Joab, the son of Sarvia, hath done to me, what he did to the two captains of the army of Israel, to Abner, the son of Ner, and to Amasa, the son of Jether: whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war on his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
I Ki KJV 2:5  Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
I Ki CzeB21 2:5  Víš také, co mi provedl Joáb, syn Ceruji – co provedl dvěma izraelským vojevůdcům – Abnerovi, synu Nerovu, a Amasovi, synu Jeterovu.
I Ki Webster 2:5  Moreover, thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, [and] what he did to the two captains of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner, and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that [was] about his loins, and in his shoes that [were] on his feet.
I Ki NHEB 2:5  "Moreover you know also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, even what he did to the two captains of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner, and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war on his sash that was about his waist, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
I Ki AKJV 2:5  Moreover you know also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner, and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war on his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
I Ki VulgClem 2:5  Tu quoque nosti quæ fecerit mihi Joab filius Sarviæ, quæ fecerit duobus principibus exercitus Israël, Abner filio Ner, et Amasæ filio Jether : quos occidit, et effudit sanguinem belli in pace, et posuit cruorem prælii in balteo suo qui erat circa lumbos ejus, et in calceamento suo quod erat in pedibus ejus.
I Ki DRC 2:6  Do, therefore, according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoary head go down to hell in peace.
I Ki KJV 2:6  Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
I Ki Webster 2:6  Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoary head go down to the grave in peace.
I Ki NHEB 2:6  Do therefore according to your wisdom, and do not let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace.
I Ki AKJV 2:6  Do therefore according to your wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
I Ki DRC 2:7  But shew kindness to the sons of Berzellai, the Galaadite, and let them eat at thy table: for they met me when I fled from the face of Absalom, thy brother.
I Ki KJV 2:7  But shew kindness unto the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.
I Ki Webster 2:7  But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.
I Ki NHEB 2:7  But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those who eat at your table; for so they came to me when I fled from Absalom your brother.
I Ki AKJV 2:7  But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at your table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom your brother.
I Ki VulgClem 2:7  Sed et filiis Berzellai Galaaditis reddes gratiam, eruntque comedentes in mensa tua : occurrerunt enim mihi quando fugiebam a facie Absalom fratris tui.
I Ki DRC 2:8  Thou hast also with thee Semei, the son of Gera, the son of Jemini, of Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse, when I went to the camp: but because he came down to meet me when I passed over the Jordan, and I swore to him by the Lord, saying: I will not kill thee with the sword:
I Ki KJV 2:8  And, behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the Lord, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
I Ki Webster 2:8  And behold, [thou hast] with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjaminite of Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I swore to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
I Ki NHEB 2:8  "Behold, there is with you Shimei the son of Gera, the Benjamite, of Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim; but he came down to meet me at the Jordan, and I swore to him by the Lord, saying, 'I will not put you to death with the sword.'
I Ki AKJV 2:8  And, behold, you have with you Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I swore to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put you to death with the sword.
I Ki DRC 2:9  Do not thou hold him guiltless. But thou art a wise man, and knowest what to do with him, and thou shalt bring down his grey hairs with blood to the grave.
I Ki KJV 2:9  Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou art a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but his hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.
I Ki Webster 2:9  Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou [art] a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do to him; but his hoary head do thou bring down to the grave with blood.
I Ki NHEB 2:9  Now therefore do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man; and you will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down to Sheol with blood."
I Ki AKJV 2:9  Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for you are a wise man, and know what you ought to do to him; but his hoar head bring you down to the grave with blood.
I Ki VulgClem 2:9  tu noli pati eum esse innoxium.
I Ki DRC 2:10  So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.
I Ki KJV 2:10  So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.

I Ki Webster 2:15  And he said, Thou knowest that the kingdom was mine, and [that] all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign: but the kingdom is turned about, and hath become my brother's: for it was his from the LORD.
I Ki NHEB 2:15  He said, "You know that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign. However the kingdom is turned around, and has become my brother's; for it was his from the Lord.
I Ki AKJV 2:15  And he said, You know that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign: however, the kingdom is turned about, and is become my brother's: for it was his from the LORD.
I Ki VulgClem 2:15  Tu, inquit, nosti, quia meum erat regnum, et me præposuerat omnis Israël sibi in regem : sed translatum est regnum, et factum est fratris mei : a Domino enim constitutum est ei.
I Ki DRC 2:16  Now therefore, I ask one petition of thee; turn not away my face. And she said to him: Say on.
I Ki KJV 2:16  And now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not. And she said unto him, Say on.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:16  Nyní mám k tobě jedinou prosbu. Neodmítni mě.“ Ona mu odpověděla: „Mluv.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:16  Teď tedy mám k tobě jedinou prosbu, neodmítni mě.“ „Mluv,“ odpověděla.
I Ki CzeCSP 2:16  ⌈O jednu věc tě nyní žádám.⌉ ⌈Neodmítni mě.⌉ Řekla mu: Mluv.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:16  Nyní pak jediné věci žádám od tebe, nechť nejsem oslyšán. Kteráž řekla jemu: Mluv.
I Ki Webster 2:16  And now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not. And she said to him, Say on.
I Ki NHEB 2:16  Now I ask one petition of you. Do not deny me." She said to him, "Say on."
I Ki AKJV 2:16  And now I ask one petition of you, deny me not. And she said to him, Say on.
I Ki VulgClem 2:16  Nunc ergo petitionem unam precor a te : ne confundas faciem meam. Quæ dixit ad eum : Loquere.
I Ki DRC 2:17  And he said I pray thee speak to king Solomon (for he cannot deny thee any thing) to give me Abisag, the Sunamitess, to wife.
I Ki KJV 2:17  And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not say thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:17  Řekl tedy: „Řekni prosím králi Šalomounovi, tebe přece neodmítne, aby mi dal za ženu Šúnemanku Abíšagu.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:17  „Požádej prosím krále Šalomouna – tebe přece neodmítne – ať mi dá za ženu Šunemitku Abišag.“
I Ki CzeCSP 2:17  Řekl: Promluv, prosím, s králem Šalomounem, neboť ⌈tebe neodmítne.⌉ Ať mi dá za ženu Abíšagu Šúnemitskou.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:17  A on řekl: Rci, prosím, Šalomounovi králi, (neboť neoslyší tebe,) ať mi dá Abizag Sunamitskou za manželku.
I Ki Webster 2:17  And he said, Speak, I pray thee, to Solomon the king, (for he will not say to thee no,) that he give me Abishag the Shunamite for a wife.
I Ki NHEB 2:17  He said, "Please speak to Solomon the king (for he will not tell you 'no'), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife."
I Ki AKJV 2:17  And he said, Speak, I pray you, to Solomon the king, (for he will not say you no,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
I Ki DRC 2:18  And Bethsabee said: Well, I will speak for thee to the king.
I Ki KJV 2:18  And Bath–sheba said, Well; I will speak for thee unto the king.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:18  Bat-šeba odpověděla: „Dobře. Já se za tebe u krále přimluvím.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:18  „Dobrá,“ odpověděla Batšeba, „promluvím o tobě s králem.“
I Ki CzeCSP 2:18  Bat–šeba řekla: Dobře. Promluvím o tobě s králem.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:18  Odpověděla Betsabé: Dobře, jáť budu mluviti o tebe s králem.
I Ki Webster 2:18  And Bath-sheba said, Well; I will speak for thee to the king.
I Ki NHEB 2:18  Bathsheba said, "Alright. I will speak for you to the king."
I Ki AKJV 2:18  And Bathsheba said, Well; I will speak for you to the king.
I Ki VulgClem 2:18  Et ait Bethsabee : Bene : ego loquar pro te regi.
I Ki DRC 2:19  Then Bethsabee came to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonias: and the king arose to meet her, and bowed to her, and sat down upon his throne: and a throne was set for the king's mother, and she sat on his right hand.
I Ki KJV 2:19  Bath–sheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right hand.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:19  A Bat-šeba šla ke králi Šalomounovi, aby s ním promluvila o Adónijášovi.
I Ki CzeCSP 2:19  Potom šla Bat–šeba ke králi Šalomounovi, aby s ním mluvila o Adónijášovi.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:19  Protož vešla Betsabé k králi Šalomounovi, aby mluvila s ním o Adoniáše.
I Ki Webster 2:19  Bath-sheba therefore went to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
I Ki NHEB 2:19  Bathsheba therefore went to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. The king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a throne to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
I Ki AKJV 2:19  Bathsheba therefore went to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
I Ki DRC 2:20  And she said to him: I desire one small petition of thee; do not put me to confusion. And the king said to her: My mother ask, for I must not turn away thy face.
I Ki KJV 2:20  Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:20  Pak řekla: „Mám k tobě jednu malou prosbu. Neodmítni mě.“ Král jí odvětil: „Žádej, má matko, tebe neodmítnu.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:20  „Chci tě požádat o jednu maličkost,“ řekla. „snad mě neodmítneš.“ „Žádej, matko, tebe neodmítnu,“ odpověděl král.
I Ki CzeCSP 2:20  Řekla: O jednu malou věc tě žádám. Neodmítni mě. Král jí řekl: Žádej, má matko, neodmítnu tě.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:20  A řekla: Jediné věci neveliké já žádám od tebe, nechť nejsem oslyšána. I řekl jí král: Žádej, matko má, neboť neoslyším tebe.
I Ki Webster 2:20  Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; [I pray thee], deny me not. And the king said to her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not deny thee.
I Ki NHEB 2:20  Then she said, "I ask one small petition of you; do not deny me." The king said to her, "Ask on, my mother; for I will not deny you."
I Ki AKJV 2:20  Then she said, I desire one small petition of you; I pray you, say me not no. And the king said to her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say you no.
I Ki DRC 2:21  And she said: Let Abisag, the Sunamitess, be given to Adonias, thy brother, to wife.
I Ki KJV 2:21  And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother to wife.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:21  Řekla: „Ať je Šúnemanka Abíšag dána za ženu tvému bratru Adónijášovi.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:21  Tehdy řekla: „Mohl by tvůj bratr Adoniáš dostat za ženu Šunemitku Abišag?“
I Ki CzeCSP 2:21  Řekla: Ať je dána Abíšag Šúnemitská za ženu tvému bratru Adónijášovi.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:21  Kteráž řekla: Nechť jest dána Abizag Sunamitská Adoniášovi bratru tvému za manželku.
I Ki Webster 2:21  And she said, Let Abishag the Shunamite be given to Adonijah thy brother for a wife.
I Ki NHEB 2:21  She said, "Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as wife."
I Ki AKJV 2:21  And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother to wife.
I Ki VulgClem 2:21  Quæ ait : Detur Abisag Sunamitis Adoniæ fratri tuo uxor.
I Ki DRC 2:22  And king Solomon answered, and said to his mother: Why dost thou ask Abisag, the Sunamitess, for Adonias? ask for him also the kingdom; for he is my elder brother, and hath Abiathar, the priest, and Joab, the son of Sarvia.
I Ki KJV 2:22  And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
Vždyť on je můj bratr, starší nežli já. Pro něho a pro kněze Ebjátara a pro Jóaba, syna Serújina!
I Ki CzeBKR 2:22  A odpovídaje král Šalomoun, řekl matce své: Proč ty jen žádáš za Abizag Sunamitskou Adoniášovi? Žádej jemu království, poněvadž on jest bratr můj starší nežli já, a má po sobě Abiatara kněze a Joába syna Sarvie.
I Ki Webster 2:22  And king Solomon answered and said to his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunamite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he [is] my elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
I Ki NHEB 2:22  King Solomon answered his mother, "Why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also; for he is my elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah."
I Ki AKJV 2:22  And king Solomon answered and said to his mother, And why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is my elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
I Ki VulgClem 2:22  Responditque rex Salomon, et dixit matri suæ : Quare postulas Abisag Sunamitidem Adoniæ ? postula ei et regnum : ipse est enim frater meus major me, et habet Abiathar sacerdotem, et Joab filium Sarviæ.
I Ki DRC 2:23  Then king Solomon swore by the Lord, saying: So and so may God do to me, and add more, if Adonias hath not spoken this word against his own life.
I Ki KJV 2:23  Then king Solomon sware by the Lord, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:23  A král Šalomoun přísahal při Hospodinu: „Ať se mnou Bůh udělá, co chce! Adónijáš vyřkl rozsudek sám nad sebou.
I Ki CzeB21 2:23  A král Šalomoun tehdy přísahal při Hospodinu: „Ať mě Bůh potrestá a ještě mi přidá, jestli Adoniáš za ta slova nezaplatí životem!
I Ki CzeCSP 2:23  Nato král Šalomoun přísahal při Hospodinu slovy: Tak ať mi učiní Bůh, a ještě přidá, jestliže Adónijáš ⌈nevyslovil tuto věc ke své smrti.⌉
I Ki CzeBKR 2:23  I přisáhl král Šalomoun skrze Hospodina, řka: Toto ať mi učiní Bůh a toto přidá, že sám proti sobě mluvil Adoniáš řeč tuto.
I Ki Webster 2:23  Then king Solomon swore by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah hath not spoken this word against his own life.
I Ki NHEB 2:23  Then king Solomon swore by the Lord, saying, "God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.
I Ki AKJV 2:23  Then king Solomon swore by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
I Ki DRC 2:24  And now, as the Lord liveth, who hath established me, and placed me upon the throne of David, my father, and who hath made me a house, as he promised, Adonias shall be put to death this day.
I Ki KJV 2:24  Now therefore, as the Lord liveth, which hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day.
I Ki Webster 2:24  Now therefore, [as] the LORD liveth, who hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me a house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day.
I Ki NHEB 2:24  Now therefore as the Lord lives, who has established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house, as he promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death this day."
I Ki AKJV 2:24  Now therefore, as the LORD lives, which has established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day.
I Ki VulgClem 2:24  Et nunc vivit Dominus, qui firmavit me, et collocavit me super solium David patris mei, et qui fecit mihi domum, sicut locutus est, quia hodie occidetur Adonias.
I Ki DRC 2:25  And king Solomon sent by the hand of Banaias, the son of Joiada, who slew him, and he died.
I Ki KJV 2:25  And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:25  Král Šalomoun to zařídil prostřednictvím Benajáše, syna Jójadova. Ten ho skolil; tak zemřel.
I Ki CzeB21 2:25  Král Šalomoun pak poslal Benajáše, syna Jojadova, a ten ho popravil.
I Ki CzeCSP 2:25  Pak poslal král Šalomoun Benajáše, syna Jójadova; ten proti němu zasáhl, takže Adonijáš zemřel.
I Ki Webster 2:25  And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.
I Ki NHEB 2:25  King Solomon sent by Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell on him, so that he died.
I Ki AKJV 2:25  And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell on him that he died.
I Ki DRC 2:26  And the king said also to Abiathar, the priest: Go to Anathoth, to thy lands, for indeed thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou didst carry the ark of the Lord God before David, my father, and hast endured trouble in all the troubles my father endured.
I Ki KJV 2:26  And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord God before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:26  Knězi Ebjátarovi král poručil: „Odejdi do Anatótu ke svým polím, neboť jsi propadl smrti. Dnes tě zabít nedám, protože jsi nosíval schránu Panovníka Hospodina před mým otcem Davidem a protože jsi snášel všechno, co snášel můj otec.“
I Ki CzeB21 2:26  Kněze Abiatara král vykázal do Anatotu. „Odejdi ke svým polím. Zasloužíš si smrt, ale dnes tě nenechám zemřít, protože jsi před mým otcem Davidem nosil Truhlu Panovníka Hospodina a snášel jsi všechna strádání mého otce.“
Ale nyní nezabiji tebe, poněvadž jsi nosil truhlu Hospodinovu před Davidem otcem mým, a snášel jsi všecka ta ssoužení, kteráž snášel otec můj.
I Ki Webster 2:26  And to Abiathar the priest said the king, Depart to Anathoth, to thy own fields; for thou [art] worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou didst bear the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all in which my father was afflicted.
I Ki NHEB 2:26  To Abiathar the priest the king said, "Go to Anathoth, to your own fields; for you are worthy of death. But I will not at this time put you to death, because you bore the ark of the Lord God before David my father, and because you were afflicted in all in which my father was afflicted."
I Ki AKJV 2:26  And to Abiathar the priest said the king, Get you to Anathoth, to your own fields; for you are worthy of death: but I will not at this time put you to death, because you bore the ark of the LORD God before David my father, and because you have been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
I Ki VulgClem 2:26  Abiathar quoque sacerdoti dixit rex : Vade in Anathoth ad agrum tuum : equidem vir mortis es : sed hodie te non interficiam, quia portasti arcam Domini Dei coram David patre meo, et sustinuisti laborem in omnibus in quibus laboravit pater meus.
I Ki DRC 2:27  So Solomon cast out Abiathar from being the priest of the Lord, that the word of the Lord might be fulfilled, which he spoke concerning the house of Heli in Silo.
I Ki KJV 2:27  So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the Lord; that he might fulfil the word of the Lord, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
I Ki CzeBKR 2:27  I svrhl Šalomoun Abiatara s kněžství Hospodinova, aby naplnil řeč Hospodinovu, kterouž byl mluvil proti domu Elí v Sílo.
I Ki Webster 2:27  So Solomon removed Abiathar from being priest to the LORD; that he might fulfill the word of the LORD, which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
I Ki NHEB 2:27  So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, that he might fulfill the word of the Lord, which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
I Ki AKJV 2:27  So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest to the LORD; that he might fulfill the word of the LORD, which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
I Ki DRC 2:28  And the news came to Joab, because Joab had turned after Adonias, and had not turned after Solomon: and Joab fled into the tabernacle of the Lord, and took hold on the horn of the altar.
I Ki KJV 2:28  Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the Lord, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
I Ki Webster 2:28  Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled to the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
I Ki NHEB 2:28  The news came to Joab; for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he did not turn after Absalom. Joab fled to the Tent of the Lord, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
I Ki AKJV 2:28  Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled to the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
I Ki DRC 2:29  And it was told king Solomon, that Joab was fled into the tabernacle of the Lord, and was by the altar: and Solomon sent Banaias, the son of Joiada, saying. Go, kill him.
I Ki KJV 2:29  And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the Lord; and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.

I Ki VulgClem 2:30  Et venit Banaias ad tabernaculum Domini, et dixit ei : Hæc dicit rex : Egredere.
I Ki DRC 2:31  And the king said to him: Do as he hath said; and kill him, and bury him, and thou shalt remove the innocent blood which hath been shed by Joab, from me, and from the house of my father:
I Ki KJV 2:31  And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
I Ki CzeCEP 2:31  Král mu nařídil: „Učiň, jak řekl. Skol ho!
Zasáhni proti němu a pohřbi ho. Tak odstraníš ode mě a z domu mého otce bezdůvodně prolitou krev, kterou prolil Jóab.

I Ki NHEB 2:31  The king said to him, "Do as he has said, and fall on him, and bury him; that you may take away the blood, which Joab shed without cause, from me and from my father's house.
I Ki AKJV 2:31  And the king said to him, Do as he has said, and fall on him, and bury him; that you may take away the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
I Ki VulgClem 2:31  Dixitque ei rex : Fac sicut locutus est, et interfice eum, et sepeli : et amovebis sanguinem innocentem qui effusus est a Joab, a me, et a domo patris mei.
I Ki DRC 2:32  And the Lord shall return his blood upon his own head; because he murdered two men, just and better than himself: and slew them with the sword, my father, David, not knowing it; Abner, the son of Ner, general of the army of Israel, and Amasa, the son of Jether general of the army of Juda;
I Ki KJV 2:32  And the Lord shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing thereof, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
I Ki Webster 2:32  And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing [of it], [to wit], Abner the son of Ner captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
I Ki NHEB 2:32  The Lord will return his blood on his own head, because he fell on two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword, and my father David did not know it: Abner the son of Ner, captain of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the army of Judah.
I Ki AKJV 2:32  And the LORD shall return his blood on his own head, who fell on two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing thereof, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
I Ki VulgClem 2:32  Et reddet Dominus sanguinem ejus super caput ejus, quia interfecit duos viros justos, melioresque se : et occidit eos gladio, patre meo David ignorante, Abner filium Ner principem militiæ Israël, et Amasam filium Jether principem exercitus Juda :
I Ki DRC 2:33  And their blood shall return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever. But to David and his seed, and his house, and to his throne, be peace for ever from the Lord.
I Ki KJV 2:33  Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the Lord.
I Ki Webster 2:33  Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace forever from the LORD.
I Ki NHEB 2:33  So shall their blood return on the head of Joab, and on the head of his seed forever. But to David, and to his seed, and to his house, and to his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord."
I Ki AKJV 2:33  Their blood shall therefore return on the head of Joab, and on the head of his seed for ever: but on David, and on his seed, and on his house, and on his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.

I Ki CzeCSP 2:34  Benajáš, syn Jójadův, šel, zasáhl proti němu a usmrtil ho.
I Ki Webster 2:34  So Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went, and fell upon him, and slew him: and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.
