28:1  Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower the glory his joy, who were on the head of the fat valley, staggering with wine.

28:1  Běda pyšné koruně efrajimských opilců, nádherné ozdobě, květu vadnoucímu, městu ležícímu na vrchu nad žírným údolím; jsou zmoženi vínem.

28:1  Běda koruně chlouby efraimských opilců, květu, který zvadne i přes svou nádheru, městu ležícímu nad úrodným údolím, chloubě těch, kteří jsou vínem zmoženi!

28:1  Běda vznešené koruně Efrajimových opilců, vadnoucímu květu jeho skvostné ozdoby, který je ⌈na vrchu úrodného údolí, koruně zmožených⌉ vínem.

28:1  Běda koruně pýchy, ožralcům Efraimským, květu nestálému v kráse a slávě své, těm, kteříž jsou při vrchu údolí velmi úrodného, a ztupeným od vína.

28:1  Væ coronæ superbiæ, ebriis Ephraim, et flori decidenti, gloriæ exsultationis ejus, qui erant in vertice vallis pinguissimæ, errantes a vino.

28:2  Behold the Lord is mighty and strong, as a storm of hail: a destroying whirlwind, as the violence of many waters overflowing, and sent forth upon a spacious land.

28:2  Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

28:2  Hle, Panovníkův silný a udatný přijde jako příval krupobití, jako zhoubná bouře; jako příval vod, jak dravé proudy je srazí pěstí k zemi.

28:2  Hle – Pánův silák udatný jako krupobití a vítr ničivý, jak vodní průtrž a mocné záplavy svou pěstí to město k zemi porazí!

28:2  Hle, Panovník má cosi silného a ohromného jako příval krupobití, jako smršť zhouby; ⌈cosi jako příval mocných rozvodněných vod mocně spustí na zem.⌉

28:2  Aj, silný a mocný Páně jako příval s krupobitím, jako povětří vyvracející, jako povodeň vod prudkých a rozvodnilých prudce až k zemi porazí.

28:2  Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, [which] as a tempest of hail [and] a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

28:4  And the fading tower the glory of his joy, who is on the head of the fat valley, shall be as a hasty fruit before the ripeness of autumn: which when he that seeth it shall behold, as soon he taketh it in his hand, he will eat it up.

28:4  And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

28:4  nádherná ozdoba, vadnoucí květ, město ležící na vrchu nad žírným údolím. Bude jako raný fík, než nastane léto: jen ho někdo uvidí, už jej má v hrsti a zhltne jej.

28:4  Květ, který zvadne i přes svou nádheru, město ležící nad úrodným údolím dopadne jako první fíky před sklizní – jakmile je kdo uvidí, zhltne je, jak mu přijdou do ruky!

28:4  A vadnoucí květ slávy její nádhery, který je na vrchu úrodného údolí, bude jako raný fík před létem -- kdo ho uvidí, zhltne ho, jen co ho uchopí.

28:4  Tehdáž stane se, že květ ten nestálý v kráse a slávě své těch, kteříž jsou při vrchu údolí velmi úrodného, bude jako ranní ovoce, prvé než léto bývá; kteréž vida někdo, nepustil by ho z ruky, až by je snědl.

28:4  And the glorious beauty, which [is] on the head of the rich valley, shall be a fading flower, [and] as the early fruit before the summer; which, [when] he that looketh upon it, seeth while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

28:4  The fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley, shall be like the first-ripe fig before the summer; which someone picks and eats as soon as he sees it.

28:4  And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks on it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.

28:4  Et erit flos decidens gloriæ exsultationis ejus, qui est super verticem vallis pinguium, quasi temporaneum ante maturitatem autumni, quod, cum aspexerit videns, statim ut manu tenuerit, devorabit illud.

28:5  In that day the Lord of hosts shall be a crown of glory, and a garland of joy to the residue of his people:

28:5  V onen den se Hospodin zástupů stane ozdobnou korunou a nádherným věncem pozůstatku svého lidu

28:5  V ten den bude Hospodin zástupů ozdobnou korunou a krásnou čelenkou pro ty, kdo z jeho lidu zůstanou.

28:6  And a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and strength to them that return out of the battle to the gate.

28:6  a duchem práva tomu, kdo zasedá na soudu, i zmužilostí těm, kdo vracejí boj k bráně.

28:6  Duchem práva bude pro soudce a u brány silou pro obránce.

28:7  But these also have been ignorant through wine, and through drunkenness have erred: the priest and the prophet have been ignorant through drunkenness, they are swallowed up with wine, they have gone astray in drunkenness, they have not known him that seeth, they have been ignorant of judgment.

28:7  But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

28:7  Také tito blouzní z vína, po opojném nápoji se potácejí: kněz i prorok blouzní z opojného nápoje, jsou pomateni vínem, po opojném nápoji se potácejí, blouzní při viděních, při rozhodování kolísají.

28:8  For all the tables were full of vomit and filth, so that there was no more place.

28:8  Všechny stoly jsou plné zvratků, samý výkal, místa není.

28:8  Zvratky pokrývají všechny stoly, lejn leží všude hromady!

28:9  Koho vyučit poznání? Komu vyložit zvěst? Odkojeným dětem, od prsů odstaveným?

28:9  Koho bude vyučovat poznání a ⌈koho naučí rozumět zprávě?⌉ Odstavené od mléka? Vzaté od prsu?

28:9  Kohož by vyučoval umění? A komu by posloužil, aby vyrozuměl naučení? Zdali ostaveným od mléka, odtrženým od prsí?

28:9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? [them that are] weaned from the milk, [and] drawn from the breasts.

28:14  Proto slyšte slovo Hospodinovo, chvastouni, vládnoucí nad tímto lidem v Jeruzaléme!

28:14  Proto slyšte Hospodinovo slovo, posměvači vládnoucí tomuto lidu, který je v Jeruzalémě.

28:14  Protož slyšte slovo Hospodinovo, muži posměvači, panující nad lidem tímto, kterýž jest v Jeruzalémě:

28:14  Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which [is] in Jerusalem.

28:14  Propter hoc audite verbum Domini, viri illusores, qui dominamini super populum meum, qui est in Jerusalem.

28:15  For you have said: We have entered into a league with death, and we have made a covenant with hell. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come upon us: for we have placed our hope in lies, and by falsehood we are protected.

28:15  Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

28:15  Říkáte: „Uzavřeli jsme smlouvu se smrtí a sjednali jsme úmluvu s podsvětím. Valí se bičující příval? Však se přežene, nás nezasáhne, vždyť jsme si svým útočištěm učinili lež a skryli jsme se v klamu.“

28:15  Říkáte: „Uzavřeli jsme smlouvu se smrtí, dohodu máme s podsvětím. Zhoubná záplava když se přižene, nám se nic nestane – naším útočištěm je přece lež, ukryli jsme se ve zradě.“

28:15  Protože jste řekli: Uzavřeli jsme smlouvu se smrtí a s podsvětím jsme udělali ujednání; i když bude procházet valící se bič, nepřijde na nás, protože jsme učinili lež svým útočištěm a v klamu jsme se ukryli.

28:15  Proto že říkáte: Učinili jsme smlouvu s smrtí, a s peklem máme srozumění, pomsta rozvodnilá, ač přecházeti bude, nepřijde na nás, jakžkoli jsme položili svod za útočiště své, a pod falší jsme se ukryli:

28:15  Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we in agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not reach us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

28:15  "Because you have said, 'We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won't come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.'"

28:15  Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing whip shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

28:15  Dixistis enim : Percussimus fœdus cum morte, et cum inferno fecimus pactum : flagellum inundans cum transierit, non veniet super nos quia posuimus mendacium spem nostram, et mendacio protecti sumus.

28:16  Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will lay a stone in the foundations of Sion, a tried stone, a corner stone, a precious stone, founded in the foundation. He that believeth, let him not hasten.

28:16  Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

28:16  Proto praví toto Panovník Hospodin: „Já to jsem, kdo za základ položil na Sijónu kámen, kámen osvědčený, úhelný a drahý, základ nejpevnější; kdo věří, nemusí spěchat.

28:16  Nuže, toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Hle, pokládám na Sionu kámen prubířský, kámen ušlechtilý, úhelný, základ nepohnutelný; kdokoli se na něj spolehne, neukvapí se.

28:16  Proto toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Hle, já kladu jako základ na Sijónu kámen, vyzkoušený kámen, drahocenný, úhelný základ, pevně založený. Kdo věří, nebude spěchat.

28:16  Z té příčiny takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Aj, já zakládám na Sionu kámen, kámen zkušený, úhelný drahý, základ pevný; kdo věří, nebudeť kvapiti.

28:16  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

28:16  Therefore thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not be in fear.

28:16  Therefore thus said the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.

28:16  Idcirco hæc dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego mittam in fundamentis Sion lapidem, lapidem probatum, angularem, pretiosum, in fundamento fundatum ; qui crediderit, non festinet.

28:17  And I will set judgment in weight, and justice in measure: and hail shall overturn the hope of falsehood: and waters shall overflow its protection.

28:17  Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

28:17  Za měřicí šňůru beru právo, za olovnici spravedlnost. Lživé útočiště smete krupobití a skrýši zaplaví vody.

28:17  Jako měřítko ustanovím právo, za olovnici vezmu spravedlnost; kroupy pak smetou úkryt vašich lží, vaši skrýš voda zatopí.

28:17  Učiním právo mírou a spravedlnost závažím. Krupobití smete lživé útočiště a úkryt zaplaví vody.

28:17  A vykonám soud podlé pravidla, a spravedlnost podlé závaží, i zamete to omylné útočiště krupobití, a skrýši povodeň zatopí.

28:17  Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding-place.

28:18  Vaše smlouva se smrtí bude zřušena a vaše úmluva s podsvětím neobstojí. Valí se bičující příval! Až se přežene, budete po něm jak zdupaná země.

28:18  Zrušena bude vaše smlouva se smrtí, padne ta vaše dohoda s podsvětím. Až se přižene zhoubná záplava, budete jako hlína zdupaná.

28:21  Jako na hoře Perasímu povstane Hospodin, chvět se bude země jak v dolině Gibeónské. Vykoná své dílo, dílo jemu nevlastní, udělá svou práci, práci jemu cizí.

28:22  Nechovejte se už jako chvastouni, ať vám nemusí být přitažena pouta. Slyšel jsem od Panovníka, Hospodina zástupů, že je konec s celou zemí, že je rozhodnuto.

28:22  A proto přestaňte se svou drzostí, ať vaše okovy neztěžknou ještě víc. Pán, Hospodin zástupů, mi totiž oznámil, že rozhodl o záhubě všude na zemi.

28:22  Nuže nebuďte drzí, aby nebyla zesílena vaše pouta, protože od Panovníka Hospodina zástupů jsem slyšel o konci, o němž je rozhodnuto pro celou tuto zemi.

28:22  A protož nebuďtež již posměvači, aby se nezadrhla osídla vaše; nebo o zkažení, a to jistém, vší země slyšel jsem ode Pána, Hospodina zástupů.

28:25  Když urovná její povrch, rozsívá hned kopr, rozhazuje kmín, seje na určená místa pšenici, proso i ječmen a na okraj špaldu.

28:25  Copak jakmile urovná ornici, nezasívá kopr, nerozhazuje kmín? Copak do těch brázd neseje pšenici, ječmen do řádků a špaldu na kraji?

28:25  Když vyrovnal její povrch, což nerozhází černuchu a nerozsype kmín, nevloží pšenici, proso i ječmen ⌈na jejich místo⌉ a špaldu na své meze?
