15:13  Také svou matku Maaku zbavil jejího královského postavení za to, že udělala nestvůrnou modlu pro Ašéru. Ása její nestvůrnou modlu podťal a spálil v Kidrónském úvalu.

15:18  Ása vzal všechno stříbro a zlato, které zbylo v pokladech domu Hospodinova, i poklady domu královského a předal je svým služebníkům. Ty pak poslal král Ása k aramejskému králi Ben-hadadovi, synu Tabrimóna, syna Chezjóna, který sídlil v Damašku, se vzkazem:

15:18  Asa proto vzal všechno stříbro i zlato, které zbylo v pokladnicích Hospodinova chrámu a v pokladnicích královského paláce, svěřil je svým služebníkům a poslal je k aramejskému králi Ben-hadadovi, synu Tabrimonovu, synu Chezionovu, sídlícímu v Damašku. Vzkázal mu:

15:18  Ása vzal všechno stříbro a zlato ponechané v pokladnicích Hospodinova domu i poklady královského domu a dal je do ruky svých otroků. Král Ása je poslal Ben–hadadovi, synu Tabrimóna, synu Chezjóna, králi Aramu, sídlícímu v Damašku, se slovy:
