10:1  Woe to them that make wicked laws: and when they write, write injustice:

10:2  nuzným odnímají možnost obhajoby, utištěné mého lidu zbavují práva; jejich kořistí jsou vdovy a sirotky olupují.

10:2  aby ovlivnili soudy s chudáky, ubohým v mém lidu aby právo upřeli, aby se vdovy staly jejich kořistí, aby okrádali sirotky!

10:3  Co si počnete v den navštívení, až se z dálky přižene zkáza? Ke komu se utečete o pomoc, kde zanecháte svoji slávu?

10:4  Nezbude než sklonit se mezi vězně či zůstat ležet mezi zabitými. Tím vším se jeho hněv neodvrátil a jeho ruka zůstává napřažena.

10:4  Nezbude vám než se krčit s vězni, než padnout mezi mrtvými. Tím vším ale jeho hněv stále nekončí, jeho ruka se ještě chystá udeřit!

10:4  Nezbyde než se sehnout jako zajatci nebo padnout jako zabití. Ani v tom všem se jeho hněv neodvrátí a jeho ruka bude stále vztažená.

10:7  Ona si to však představit nedovede, neuvažuje o tom v svém srdci, myslí jen na to, jak by vyhubila, jak by vymýtila nemálo pronárodů.

10:13  For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:

10:13  neboť řekl: ‚Vykonal jsem to silou své ruky a svou moudrostí - vždyť se v tom vyznám. Zrušil jsem hranice národů, co nakupily, to jsem vydrancoval a jako býk jsem svrhl vládce z trůnu.

10:13  říká: „Svou vlastní silou jsem to způsobil a svou moudrostí – vždyť jsem zkušený! Hranice národů jsem odstranil, vyplenil jsem jejich poklady, zporážel jsem jejich trůny jako býk.

10:13  For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man]:

10:13  For he has said, "By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I have understanding: and I have removed the boundaries of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. Like a valiant man I have brought down their rulers.

10:13  Dixit enim : In fortitudine manus meæ feci, et in sapientia mea intellexi ; et abstuli terminos populorum, et principes eorum deprædatus sum, et detraxi quasi potens in sublimi residentes.

10:14  And my hand hath found the strength of the people as a nest; and as eggs are gathered, that are left, so have I gathered all the earth: and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or made the least noise.

10:14  And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

10:14  Jako hnízdo nalezla má ruka bohatství národů; jako se vybírají opuštěná vejce, tak jsem vybral celou zemi. Nikdo ani křídlem nezamával, nikdo zobák neotevřel a nepípl.‘

10:14  Bohatství národů má ruka pobrala, jako se hnízdo vybírá; jako se sbírají opuštěná vajíčka, tak jsem já celou zemi vysbíral a nikdo ani křídlem nezamával, neotevřel zobák, aby zapípal.“

10:14  Má ruka nalezla majetek národů jako hnízdo a jako se sbírají opuštěná vejce, tak jsem já sebral celou tuto zemi. Nebyl, kdo by máchnul křídlem nebo otevřel zobák či zapištěl.

10:14  Anobrž jako hnízdo nalezla ruka má zboží národů, a jako zbírána bývají vejce opuštěná, tak všecku zemi já jsem sebral, aniž byl, kdo by křídlem hnul, aneb otevřel ústa a siptěl.

10:14  And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

10:14  My hand has found the riches of the peoples like a nest, and like one gathers eggs that are abandoned, have I gathered all the earth. There was no one who moved their wing, or that opened their mouth, or chirped."

10:14  Et invenit quasi nidum manus mea fortitudinem populorum ; et sicut colliguntur ova quæ derelicta sunt, sic universam terram ego congregavi ; et non fuit qui moveret pennam, et aperiret os, et ganniret.

10:15  Shall the axe boast itself against him that cutteth with it? or shall the saw exalt itself against him by whom it is drawn? as if a rod should lift itself up against him that lifteth it up, and a staff exalt itself, which is but wood.

10:15  Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.

10:15  Což se smí sekera holedbat nad toho, kdo jí seká? A pila povyšovat se nad toho, kdo jí řeže? Jako by metla mohla švihat toho, kdo ji zvedá, nebo hůl se vynášet, že není dřevo.“

10:15  Honosí se sekera nad toho, kdo s ní seká? Povyšuje se pila nad svého drvoštěpa? Jako by metla mávala tím, kdo ji zvedá, a hůl se chlubila, že není dřevěná!

10:15  Což se sekera vychloubá nad toho, kdo s ní seká? Cožpak se pila vytahuje nad toho, kdo jí řeže? Jako kdyby metla mávala tím, kdo ji zvedá, jako kdyby ⌈se hůl vyzdvihovala, že není dřevěná.⌉

10:15  Zdaliž se bude sekera velebiti nad toho, kdož ní seká? Zdaliž se honositi bude pila nad toho, kdož ní tře? Jako by se zpínala metla proti tomu, kdož by ji zdvihl; jako by se chlubila hůl, že není dřevem.

10:15  Shall the ax boast itself against him that heweth with it? [or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that moveth it? as if the rod should shake [itself] against them that lift it, [or] as if the staff should lift [itself], [as if it were] no wood.

10:15  Should an axe brag against him who chops with it? Should a saw exalt itself above him who saws with it? As if a rod should lift those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift up someone who is not wood.

10:15  Shall the ax boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.

10:15  Numquid gloriabitur securis contra eum qui secat in ea ? aut exaltabitur serra contra eum a quo trahitur ? Quomodo si elevetur virga contra elevantem se, et exaltetur baculus, qui utique lignum est.

10:16  Therefore the sovereign Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall send leanness among his fat ones: and under his glory shall be kindled a burning, as it were the burning of a fire.

10:16  Proto pošle Pán, Hospodin zástupů, na asyrské vypasence úbytě a pod asyrskou slávou to zapraská praskotem ohně.

10:16  A proto Panovník, Hospodin zástupů, sešle na jejich vypasence úbytě a pod jejich chloubou zapálí plamen nejprudší.

10:16  Proto Panovník, Hospodin zástupů, pošle úbytě na jeho vykrmené a pod jeho slávou zažehne plamen jako plamen ohně.

10:16  Protož pošle Pán, Hospodin zástupů, na vytylé jeho vyzáblost, a po zpodku slávu jeho prudce zapálí, jako silný oheň.

10:16  Therefore will the Lord, the LORD of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he will kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.

10:17  Světlo Izraelovo se stane ohněm a jeho Svatý plamenem. Ten bude hořet a pozře její křoví a bodláčí v jediný den.

10:17  Světlo Izraele se stane ohněm, jejich Svatý bude plamenem; v jediném dni ten oheň pohltí jejich trní i bodláčí.

10:17  Světlo Izraele se stane ohněm a jeho Svatý plamenem. V jednom dni zapálí a stráví jeho bodláčí i jeho trní
