Gene CzeCSP 26:2  Tehdy se mu ukázal Hospodin a řekl: Nesestupuj do Egypta. Přebývej v zemi, kterou ti určím.

Gene KJV 26:3  Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
Gene CzeCEP 26:3  Pobývej v této zemi jako host. Já budu s tebou a požehnám ti, tobě a tvému potomstvu dám všechny tyto země.
Gene CzeB21 26:3  Pobývej v této zemi a já budu s tebou a požehnám ti, neboť tobě a tvému semeni dám všechny tyto země.
Budu s tebou a požehnám ti. Neboť tobě a tvému potomstvu dám všechny tyto země a naplním přísahu, kterou jsem přísahal tvému otci Abrahamovi.
Gene CzeBKR 26:3  Budiž tedy pohostinu v zemi této, a budu s tebou, a požehnám tobě; nebo tobě a semeni tvému dám všecky země tyto, a utvrdím přísahu, kterouž jsem přisáhl Abrahamovi, otci tvému.

Gene DRC 26:4  And I will multiply thy seed like the stars of heaven: and I will give to thy posterity all these countries: and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.
Gene KJV 26:4  And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Gene VulgClem 26:4  Et multiplicabo semen tuum sicut stellas cæli : daboque posteris tuis universas regiones has : et benedicentur in semine tuo omnes gentes terræ,
Gene DRC 26:5  Because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my precepts and commandments, and observed my ceremonies and laws.
Gene KJV 26:5  Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Gene CzeBKR 26:5  Protože uposlechl Abraham hlasu mého, a ostříhal nařízení mých, přikázaní mých, ustanovení mých a zákonů mých.
Gene Webster 26:5  Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Gene DRC 26:6  So Isaac abode in Gerara.
Gene KJV 26:6  And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:
Gene CzeCEP 26:6  Izák se tedy usadil v Geraru.
Gene CzeB21 26:6  A tak se Izák usadil v Geraru.
Gene CzeCSP 26:6  Tak se Izák usadil v Geraru.
Gene CzeBKR 26:6  Bydlil tedy Izák v Gerar.

Gene VulgClem 26:6  Mansit itaque Isaac in Geraris.
Gene DRC 26:7  And when he was asked by the men of that place, concerning his wife, he answered: She is my sister: for he was afraid to confess that she was his wife, thinking lest perhaps they would kill him because of her beauty.
Gene KJV 26:7  And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.
Gene Webster 26:7  And the men of the place asked [him] of his wife; and he said, She [is] my sister: for he feared to say, [She is] my wife; lest, [said he], the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she [was] fair to look upon.
Gene NHEB 26:7  The men of the place asked him about his wife. He said, "She is my sister," for he was afraid to say, "My wife," lest, he thought, "the men of the place might kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to look at."
Gene AKJV 26:7  And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look on.
Gene VulgClem 26:7  Qui cum interrogaretur a viris loci illius super uxore sua, respondit : Soror mea est : timuerat enim confiteri quod sibi esset sociata conjugio, reputans ne forte interficerent eum propter illius pulchritudinem.
Gene DRC 26:8  And when very many days were passed, and he abode there, Abimelech, king of the Palestines, looking out through a window, saw him playing with Rebecca, his wife.
Gene KJV 26:8  And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
Gene CzeCSP 26:8  Jednou, když už tam byli dlouhou dobu, vyhlédl pelištejský král Abímelek z okna a uviděl, hle, Izák se svou ženou Rebekou laškuje!
Gene Webster 26:8  And it came to pass when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and behold, Isaac [was] sporting with Rebekah his wife.
Gene NHEB 26:8  It happened, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was caressing Rebekah, his wife.
Gene AKJV 26:8  And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
Gene VulgClem 26:8  Cumque pertransissent dies plurimi, et ibidem moraretur, prospiciens Abimelech rex Palæstinorum per fenestram, vidit eum jocantem cum Rebecca uxore sua.
Gene DRC 26:9  And calling for him, he said: It is evident she is thy wife: why didst thou feign her to be thy sister? He answered: I feared lest I should die for her sake.
Gene KJV 26:9  And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife: and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.
Gene CzeBKR 26:9  Protož povolav Abimelech Izáka, řekl: Aj, v pravdě manželka tvá to jest. Jakž to, že jsi pravil: Sestra má jest? I odpověděl jemu Izák: Nebo jsem řekl sám u sebe: Abych snad neumřel pro ni.
Gene Webster 26:9  And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, surely she [is] thy wife: and how saidst thou, She [is] my sister? and Isaac said to him, Because I said, Lest I should die on her account.
Gene NHEB 26:9  Abimelech called Isaac, and said, "Behold, surely she is your wife. Why did you say, 'She is my sister?'" Isaac said to him, "Because I said, 'Lest I die because of her.'"
Gene AKJV 26:9  And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is your wife; and how said you, She is my sister? And Isaac said to him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.
Gene DRC 26:10  And Abimelech said: Why hast thou deceived us? Some man of the people might have lain with thy wife, and thou hadst brought upon us a great sin. And he commanded all the people, saying:
Gene KJV 26:10  And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.
Gene CzeCEP 26:10  Abímelek pravil: „Cos nám to učinil?
Gene CzeB21 26:10  Abimelech zvolal: „Cos nám to udělal?
Gene CzeCSP 26:10  Abímelek řekl: Cos nám to udělal? Málem někdo z lidu spal s tvou ženou a uvedl bys na nás vinu!
Gene CzeBKR 26:10  I řekl Abimelech: Což jsi to učinil nám?
Gene Webster 26:10  And Abimelech said, What [is] this thou hast done to us? one of the people might lightly have lain with thy wife, and thou wouldst have brought guiltiness upon us.
Gene NHEB 26:10  Abimelech said, "What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us!"
Gene AKJV 26:10  And Abimelech said, What is this you have done to us? one of the people might lightly have lien with your wife, and you should have brought guiltiness on us.
Gene VulgClem 26:10  Dixitque Abimelech : Quare imposuisti nobis ? potuit coire quispiam de populo cum uxore tua, et induxeras super nos grande peccatum. Præcepitque omni populo, dicens :
Gene DRC 26:11  He that shall touch this man's wife, shall surely be put to death.
Gene KJV 26:11  And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.
Gene Webster 26:11  And Abimelech charged all [his] people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

Gene AKJV 26:11  And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that touches this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

Gene DRC 26:12  And Isaac sowed in that land, and he found that same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
Gene KJV 26:12  Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
Gene CzeCEP 26:12  Izák začal v té zemi sít a sklidil toho roku stonásobně; tak mu Hospodin požehnal.
Gene CzeB21 26:12  Izák pak v té zemi sel a téhož roku sklidil stonásobek, neboť mu Hospodin požehnal.
Gene CzeCSP 26:12  Izák v té zemi zasel a sklidil onen rok stonásobně. Hospodin mu požehnal
Gene CzeBKR 26:12  Sel pak Izák v zemi té, a shledal v tom roce sto měr; nebo požehnal mu Hospodin.
Gene Webster 26:12  Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundred-fold: and the LORD blessed him:
Gene NHEB 26:12  Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. The Lord blessed him.
Gene AKJV 26:12  Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundred times: and the LORD blessed him.
Gene VulgClem 26:12  Sevit autem Isaac in terra illa, et invenit in ipso anno centuplum : benedixitque ei Dominus.
Gene DRC 26:13  And the man was enriched, and he went on prospering and increasing, till he became exceeding great.
Gene KJV 26:13  And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
Gene CzeCEP 26:13  Tak se ten muž vzmohl a vzmáhal se stále víc, až se stal velice zámožným.
Gene CzeB21 26:13  A tak se ten muž vzmohl a rozmáhal se stále víc, až se stal velmi zámožným.
Gene CzeCSP 26:13  a on se vzmáhal a stále bohatl, až byl velmi bohatý.
Gene CzeBKR 26:13  I rostl muž ten, a prospíval vždy více v zrostu, až i zrostl velmi.
Gene Webster 26:13  And the man became great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
Gene NHEB 26:13  The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great.
Gene AKJV 26:13  And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
Gene VulgClem 26:13  Et locupletatus est homo, et ibat proficiens atque succrescens, donec magnus vehementer effectus est :
Gene DRC 26:14  And he had possessions of sheep and of herds, and a very great family. Wherefore the Palestines envying him,
Gene KJV 26:14  For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Gene CzeCEP 26:14  Měl stáda bravu a stáda skotu i četnou čeládku. Pelištejci mu proto záviděli.
Gene CzeB21 26:14  Měl stáda bravu, stáda skotu a početné služebnictvo. Proto mu Filištíni začali závidět.

Gene NHEB 26:14  He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.
Gene AKJV 26:14  For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Gene VulgClem 26:14  habuit quoque possessiones ovium et armentorum, et familiæ plurimum. Ob hoc invidentes ei Palæstini,
Gene DRC 26:15  Stopped up at that time all the wells, that the servants of his father, Abraham, had digged, filling them up with earth:
Gene KJV 26:15  For all the wells which his father’s servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.

Gene Webster 26:15  For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.
Gene NHEB 26:15  Now all the wells which his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped, and filled with earth.
Gene AKJV 26:15  For all the wells which his father's servants had dig in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.
Gene VulgClem 26:15  omnes puteos, quos foderant servi patris illius Abraham, illo tempore obstruxerunt, implentes humo :
Gene DRC 26:16  Insomuch that Abimelech himself said to Isaac: Depart from us, for thou art become much mightier than we.
Gene KJV 26:16  And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.
Gene CzeCEP 26:16  Abímelek řekl Izákovi: „Odejdi od nás, neboť jsi mnohem mocnější než my.“
Gene CzeB21 26:16  Abimelech tehdy Izákovi řekl: „Odejdi od nás! Jsi mnohem mocnější než my.“

Gene DRC 26:17  So he departed, and came to the torrent of Gerara, to dwell there:
Gene KJV 26:17  And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.
Gene CzeCEP 26:17  Izák tedy odtud odešel, utábořil se v Gerarském úvalu a usadil se tam.
Gene CzeB21 26:17  Izák proto odtud odešel, utábořil se v gerarském údolí a tam bydlel.

Gene DRC 26:18  And he digged again other wells, which the servants of his father, Abraham, had digged, and which, after his death, the Philistines had of old stopped up: and he called them by the same names, by which his father before had called them.
Gene KJV 26:18  And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.
