18:6  Kdo by svedl k hříchu jednoho z těchto nepatrných, kteří ve mne věří, pro toho by bylo lépe, aby mu pověsili na krk mlýnský kámen a potopili ho do mořské hlubiny.

18:6  But whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believe in me, to sin, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

18:8  Jestliže tě tvá ruka nebo noha svádí k hříchu, utni ji a odhoď pryč; lépe je pro tebe, vejdeš-li do života zmrzačený nebo chromý, než abys byl s oběma rukama či nohama uvržen do věčného ohně.

18:8  Svádí-li tě tedy tvá ruka nebo noha, usekni ji a zahoď od sebe. Je pro tebe lepší, abys chromý nebo zmrzačený vstoupil do života, než mít obě ruce nebo obě nohy a být uvržen do věčného ohně.

18:8  Jestliže tě tvá ruka nebo tvá noha ⌈svádí k hříchu⌉, utni ji a odhoď; lépe je pro tebe, abys vešel do života zmrzačený nebo chromý, než abys měl obě ruce nebo obě nohy, a byl uvržen do věčného ohně.

18:8  Protož jestliže ruka tvá aneb noha tvá pohoršuje tě, utniž ji a vrz od sebe. Lépe jest tobě do života vjíti kulhavému aneb bezrukému, nežli dvě ruce aneb dvě noze majícímu uvrženu býti do ohně věčného.

18:8  Wherefore, if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to sin, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire.

18:9  Jestliže tě tvé oko svádí k hříchu, vyrvi je a odhoď pryč; lépe je pro tebe, vejdeš-li do života jednooký, než abys byl s oběma očima uvržen do ohnivého pekla.

18:9  A jestliže tě svádí tvé oko, vyloupni je a zahoď od sebe. Je pro tebe lepší vejít do věčného života jednooký, než mít obě oči a být uvržen do pekelného ohně.

18:9  A jestliže tě svádí tvé oko, vyjmi je a odhoď; lépe je pro tebe, abys vešel do života jednooký, než abys měl obě oči, a byl uvržen do ohnivé Gehenny.“

18:9  A pakli oko tvé pohoršuje tebe, vylup je a vrz od sebe. Lépe jest tobě jednookému do života vjíti, nežli obě oči majícímu uvrženu býti do pekelného ohně.

18:10  See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

18:10  Mějte se na pozoru, abyste nepohrdali ani jedním z těchto maličkých. Pravím vám, že jejich andělé v nebi jsou neustále v blízkosti mého nebeského Otce.

18:10  [11] Dejte si pozor, abyste nepohrdali žádným z těchto maličkých. Říkám vám totiž, že jejich andělé v nebesích neustále hledí na tvář mého nebeského Otce.
