113:1  When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people:

113:1  Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

113:1  Haleluja. Chvalte, Hospodinovi služebníci, chvalte jméno Hospodina!

113:1  Haleluja! Chvalte, služebníci Hospodinovi, chvalte jméno Hospodin!

113:1  Haleluja! Chvalte, ⌈otroci Hospodinovi,⌉ chvalte Hospodinovo jméno!

113:1  Halelujah. Chvalte služebníci Hospodinovi, chvalte jméno Hospodinovo.

113:1  Alleluja. In exitu Israël de Ægypto, domus Jacob de populo barbaro,

113:2  Judea was made his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

113:2  Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

113:2  Jméno Hospodinovo buď požehnáno nyní i navěky.

113:2  Ať je velebeno jméno Hospodin jak nyní, tak i navěky!

113:2  Budiž Hospodinovo jméno požehnáno od nynějška až navěky!

113:2  Budiž jméno Hospodinovo požehnáno od tohoto času až na věky.

113:2  facta est Judæa sanctificatio ejus ; Israël potestas ejus.

113:3  The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.

113:3  From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

113:3  Od východu slunce až na západ chváleno buď jméno Hospodina.

113:3  Od východu slunce až tam, kde zachází, buď sláva jménu Hospodin!

113:3  Od východu slunce až po západ budiž chváleno jméno Hospodinovo!

113:3  Od východu slunce až do západu jeho chváleno buď jméno Hospodinovo.

113:3  Mare vidit, et fugit ; Jordanis conversus est retrorsum.

113:4  The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like the lambs of the flock.

113:4  The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

113:4  Hospodin je vyvýšen nad všemi národy, nad nebesa strmí jeho sláva.

113:4  Hospodin je vznešený nad všemi národy, jeho sláva klene se nad nebesy.

113:4  Hospodin je vyvýšený nade všemi národy, jeho sláva sahá nad nebesa.

113:4  Vyvýšenť jest nade všecky národy Hospodin, a nad nebesa sláva jeho.

113:4  Montes exsultaverunt ut arietes, et colles sicut agni ovium.

113:5  What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou didst flee: and thou, O Jordan, that thou wast turned back?

113:5  Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

113:5  Kdo je jako Hospodin, náš Bůh, jenž tak vysoko trůní?

113:5  Kdo je jako náš Bůh, Hospodin, jenž trůní ve výši,

113:5  Kdo je jako Hospodin, náš Bůh, jenž tak vysoko trůní?

113:5  Kdo jest rovný Hospodinu Bohu našemu, kterýž vysoko bydlí?

113:5  Quid est tibi, mare, quod fugisti ? et tu, Jordanis, quia conversus es retrorsum ?

113:6  Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye hills, like lambs of the flock?

113:6  Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

113:6  Sestupuje níže, aby viděl na nebesa a na zemi.

113:6  jenž sklání se a na vše pohlíží, na vše na nebi i na zemi?

113:6  Sestupuje, aby pohlédl na nebesa a na zemi.

113:6  Kterýž snižuje se, aby všecko spatřoval, což jest na nebi i na zemi.

113:6  montes, exsultastis sicut arietes ? et colles, sicut agni ovium ?

113:7  At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob:

113:7  He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

113:7  Nuzného pozvedá z prachu, z kalu vytahuje ubožáka

113:7  Chudáka umí z prachu pozvednout, ubožáka bere ze smetiště,

113:7  Pozvedá chudého z prachu, ze smetiště vytahuje nuzného,

113:7  Vyzdvihuje z prachu nuzného, a z hnoje vyvyšuje chudého,

113:7  A facie Domini mota est terra, a facie Dei Jacob :

113:8  Who turned the rock into pools of water, and the stony hill into fountains of waters.

113:8  That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

113:8  a pak ho posadí vedle knížat, vedle knížat svého lidu.

113:8  mezi knížaty jim dává usednout, mezi knížaty v lidu svém.

113:8  aby ho posadil s předními muži, s předními muži svého lidu.

113:8  Aby jej posadil s knížaty, s knížaty lidu svého.

113:8  qui convertit petram in stagna aquarum, et rupem in fontes aquarum.

113:9  Not to us, O Lord, not to us; but to thy name give glory.

113:9  He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

113:9  Neplodnou usazuje v domě jako šťastnou matku synů. Haleluja.

113:9  Neplodnou obdařuje rodinou, matka se z dětí raduje! Haleluja!

113:9  Neplodnou usazuje v domě jako šťastnou matku synů. Haleluja!

113:9  Kterýž vzdělává neplodnou v čeled, a matku veselící se z dítek. Halelujah.

113:9  Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam :

113:10  For thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake: lest the Gentiles should say: Where is their God?

113:10  super misericordia tua et veritate tua ; nequando dicant gentes : Ubi est Deus eorum ?

113:11  But our God is in heaven: he hath done all things whatsoever he would.

113:11  Deus autem noster in cælo ; omnia quæcumque voluit fecit.

113:12  The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.

113:12  Simulacra gentium argentum et aurum, opera manuum hominum.

113:13  They have mouths and speak not: they have eyes and see not.

113:13  Os habent, et non loquentur ; oculos habent, et non videbunt.

113:14  They have ears and hear not: they have noses and smell not.

113:14  Aures habent, et non audient ; nares habent, et non odorabunt.

113:15  They have hands and feel not: they have feet and walk not: neither shall they cry out through their throat.

113:15  Manus habent, et non palpabunt ; pedes habent, et non ambulabunt ; non clamabunt in gutture suo.

113:16  Let them that make them become like unto them: and all such as trust in them.

113:16  Similes illis fiant qui faciunt ea, et omnes qui confidunt in eis.

113:17  The house of Israel hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.

113:17  Domus Israël speravit in Domino ; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

113:18  The house of Aaron hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.

113:18  Domus Aaron speravit in Domino ; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

113:19  They that fear the Lord have hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.

113:19  Qui timent Dominum speraverunt in Domino ; adjutor eorum et protector eorum est.

113:20  The Lord hath been mindful of us, and hath blessed us. He hath blessed the house of Israel: he hath blessed the house of Aaron.

113:20  Dominus memor fuit nostri, et benedixit nobis. Benedixit domui Israël ; benedixit domui Aaron.

113:21  He hath blessed all that fear the Lord, both little and great.

113:21  Benedixit omnibus qui timent Dominum, pusillis cum majoribus.

113:22  May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your children.

113:22  Adjiciat Dominus super vos, super vos et super filios vestros.

113:23  Blessed be you of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

113:23  Benedicti vos a Domino, qui fecit cælum et terram.

113:24  The heaven of heaven is the Lord's: but the earth he has given to the children of men.

113:24  Cælum cæli Domino ; terram autem dedit filiis hominum.

113:25  The dead shall not praise thee, O Lord: nor any of them that go down to hell.

113:25  Non mortui laudabunt te, Domine, neque omnes qui descendunt in infernum :

113:26  But we that live bless the Lord: from this time now and for ever.

113:26  sed nos qui vivimus, benedicimus Domino, ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.
