2:1  And departing from thence we came into the wilderness that leadeth to the Red Sea, as the Lord had spoken to me: and we compassed mount Seir a long time.

2:1  Potom jsme se obrátili a táhli dál do pouště cestou k Rákosovému moři, jak Hospodin ke mně mluvil. Po mnoho dní jsme obcházeli pohoří Seír.

2:7  For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God [hath been] with thee: thou hast lacked nothing.

2:8  Přešli jsme tedy mimo území svých bratří Ezauovců, sídlících v Seíru, stranou cesty vedoucí pustinou od Élatu a Esjón-geberu. Tam jsme se obrátili a pokračovali směrem na Moábskou step.

2:9  And the Lord said to me: Fight not against the Moabites, neither go to battle against them: for I will not give thee any of their land, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot in possession.

2:14  Doba, po kterou jsme putovali z Kádeš-barneje, až jsme překročili potok Zered, činila třicet osm let, dokud z tábora nevyhynulo do jednoho celé pokolení bojovníků, jak jim přísahal Hospodin.

2:36  Od Aróeru, který je na ⌈břehu potoka⌉ Arnónu, města, které je v údolí, až po Gileád, nebylo město, které by před námi bylo v bezpečí; vše nám Hospodin, náš Bůh, vydal.

2:36  Od Aroer jenž jest na břehu potoka Arnon, a od města, kteréž jest v údolí, až do Galád nebylo města, kteréž by ostáti mohlo před námi; všecka nám dal Hospodin Bůh náš.

2:36  From Aroer, which [is] by the brink of the river of Arnon, and [from] the city that [is] by the river, even to Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all to us:

2:36  From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us; the Lord our God delivered up all before us:

2:36  From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even to Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all to us:

2:36  ab Aroër, quæ est super ripam torrentis Arnon, oppido quod in valle situm est, usque Galaad. Non fuit vicus et civitas, quæ nostras effugeret manus : omnes tradidit Dominus Deus noster nobis,

2:37  Except the land of the children of Ammon, to which we approached not: and all that border upon the torrent Jeboc, and the cities in the mountains, and all the places which the Lord our God forbade us.

2:37  Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the Lord our God forbad us.

2:37  Jen k zemi Amónovců ses nepřiblížil, k celému pásmu při potoku Jaboku, ani k městům v pohoří a vůbec nikam, kam nám Hospodin, náš Bůh, zakázal.

2:37  Nepřiblížil ses ale k zemi Amonců, k okolí potoka Jabok, k městům v horách a vůbec k ničemu, co Hospodin, náš Bůh, zakázal.

2:37  Pouze k zemi synů Amónových ses nepřiblížil, na celou stranu potoka Jaboku ani k městům v pohoří; vše, jak přikázal Hospodin, náš Bůh.

2:37  Toliko k zemi synů Ammon nepřiblížils se, ani k žádné krajině ležící při potoku Jabok, ani k městům na horách, a k žádnému místu, kteréž zapověděl Hospodin Bůh náš.

2:37  Only to the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, [nor] to any place of the river Jabbok, nor to the cities on the mountains, nor to whatever the LORD our God forbad us.

2:37  only to the land of the children of Ammon you did not come near; all the side of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the Lord our God forbade us.

2:37  Only to the land of the children of Ammon you came not, nor to any place of the river Jabbok, nor to the cities in the mountains, nor to whatever the LORD our God forbade us.

2:37  absque terra filiorum Ammon, ad quam non accessimus : et cunctis quæ adjacent torrenti Jeboc, et urbibus montanis, universisque locis, a quibus nos prohibuit Dominus Deus noster.
