Job KJV 28:4  The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
Job DRC 28:5  The land, out of which bread grew in its place, hath been overturned with fire.
Job VulgClem 28:5  Terra de qua oriebatur panis, in loco suo igni subversa est.
Job KJV 28:5  As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
Job DRC 28:6  The stones of it are the place of sapphires, and the clods of it are gold.

Job KJV 28:6  The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.
Job DRC 28:7  The bird hath not known the path, neither hath the eye of the vulture beheld it.
Job KJV 28:7  There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
Job DRC 28:8  The children of the merchants have not trodden it, neither hath the lioness passed by it.
Job KJV 28:8  The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
Job DRC 28:9  He hath stretched forth his hand to the flint, he hath overturned mountains from the roots.
Job VulgClem 28:9  Ad silicem extendit manum suam : subvertit a radicibus montes.
Job KJV 28:9  He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
Job DRC 28:10  In the rocks he hath cut out rivers, and his eye hath seen every precious thing.
Job VulgClem 28:10  In petris rivos excidit, et omne pretiosum vidit oculus ejus.
Job KJV 28:10  He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

Job KJV 28:11  He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.
Job DRC 28:12  But where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding?
Job KJV 28:12  But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
Job DRC 28:13  Man knoweth not the price thereof, neither is it found in the land of them that live in delights.
Job VulgClem 28:13  Nescit homo pretium ejus, nec invenitur in terra suaviter viventium.
Job KJV 28:13  Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
Job DRC 28:14  The depth saith: It is not in me: and the sea saith: It is not with me.
Job VulgClem 28:14  Abyssus dicit : Non est in me, et mare loquitur : Non est mecum.
Job KJV 28:14  The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
Job DRC 28:15  The finest gold shall not purchase it, neither shall silver be weighed in exchange for it.

Job KJV 28:17  The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
Job DRC 28:18  High and eminent things shall not be mentioned in comparison of it: but wisdom is drawn out of secret places.
Job KJV 28:18  No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
Job DRC 28:19  The topaz of Ethiopia shall not be equal to it, neither shall it be compared to the cleanest dyeing.

Job KJV 28:19  The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
Job DRC 28:20  Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
Job KJV 28:20  Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

Job KJV 28:21  Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

Job VulgClem 28:26  Quando ponebat pluviis legem, et viam procellis sonantibus :
Job KJV 28:26  When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
Job DRC 28:27  Then he saw it, and declared, and prepared, and searched it.
Job VulgClem 28:27  tunc vidit illam et enarravit, et præparavit, et investigavit.
Job KJV 28:27  Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
Job DRC 28:28  And he said to man: Behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom: and to depart from evil, is understanding.
Job VulgClem 28:28  Et dixit homini : Ecce timor Domini, ipsa est sapientia ; et recedere a malo, intelligentia.
Job KJV 28:28  And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
