Chapter 15
Levi DRC 15:1  And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
Levi KJV 15:1  And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
Levi VulgClem 15:1  Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron, dicens :
Levi DRC 15:2  Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: The man that hath an issue of seed, shall be unclean.
Levi KJV 15:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:2  Loquimini filiis Israël, et dicite eis : Vir, qui patitur fluxum seminis, immundus erit.
Levi DRC 15:3  And then shall he be judged subject to this evil, when a filthy humour, at every moment, cleaveth to his flesh, and gathereth there.
Levi KJV 15:3  And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
Levi VulgClem 15:3  Et tunc judicabitur huic vitio subjacere, cum per singula momenta adhæserit carni ejus, atque concreverit fœdus humor.
Levi DRC 15:4  Every bed on which he sleepeth, shall be unclean, and every place on which he sitteth.
Levi KJV 15:4  Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:4  Omne stratum, in quo dormierit, immundum erit, et ubicumque sederit.
Levi DRC 15:5  If any man touch his bed, he shall wash his clothes and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:5  And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:5  Si quis hominum tetigerit lectum ejus, lavabit vestimenta sua, et ipse lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:6  If a man sit where that man hath sitten, he also shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:6  And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:6  Si sederit ubi ille sederat, et ipse lavabit vestimenta sua : et lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:7  He that toucheth his flesh, shall wash his clothes: and being himself washed with water shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:7  And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:7  Qui tetigerit carnem ejus, lavabit vestimenta sua : et ipse lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:8  If such a man cast his spittle upon him that is clean, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:8  And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:8  Si salivam hujuscemodi homo jecerit super eum qui mundus est, lavabit vestimenta sua : et lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:9  The saddle on which he hath sitten shall be unclean.
Levi KJV 15:9  And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:9  Sagma, super quo sederit, immundum erit :
Levi DRC 15:10  And whatsoever has been under him that hath the issue of seed, shall be unclean until the evening. He that carrieth any of these things, shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:10  And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:10  et quidquid sub eo fuerit, qui fluxum seminis patitur, pollutum erit usque ad vesperum. Qui portaverit horum aliquid, lavabit vestimenta sua : et ipse lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:11  Every person whom such a one shall touch, not having washed his hands before, shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:11  And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:11  Omnis, quem tetigerit qui talis est, non lotis ante manibus, lavabit vestimenta sua, et lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:12  If he touch a vessel of earth, it shall be broken: but if a vessel of wood, it shall be washed with water.
Levi KJV 15:12  And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
Levi VulgClem 15:12  Vas fictile quod tetigerit confringetur : vas autem ligneum lavabitur aqua.
Levi DRC 15:13  If he who suffereth this disease be healed, he shall number seven days after his cleansing: and having washed his clothes, and all his body in living water, he shall be clean.
Levi KJV 15:13  And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
Levi VulgClem 15:13  Si sanatus fuerit qui hujuscemodi sustinet passionem, numerabit septem dies post emundationem sui, et lotis vestibus et toto corpore in aquis viventibus, erit mundus.
Levi DRC 15:14  And on the eighth day he shall take two turtles, or two young pigeons, and he shall come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and shall give them to the priest.
Levi KJV 15:14  And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
Levi VulgClem 15:14  Die autem octavo sumet duos turtures, aut duos pullos columbæ, et veniet in conspectum Domini ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii, dabitque eos sacerdoti :
Levi DRC 15:15  Who shall offer one for sin, and the other for a holocaust: and he shall pray for him before the Lord, that he may be cleansed of the issue of his seed.
Levi KJV 15:15  And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.
Levi VulgClem 15:15  qui faciet unum pro peccato et alterum in holocaustum : rogabitque pro eo coram Domino, ut emundetur a fluxi seminis sui.
Levi DRC 15:16  The man from whom the seed of copulation goeth out, shall wash all his body with water: and he shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:16  And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:16  Vir de quo egreditur semen coitus, lavabit aqua omne corpus suum : et immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:17  The garment or skin that he weareth, he shall wash with water: and it shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:17  And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:17  Vestem et pellem, quam habuerit, lavabit aqua, et immunda erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:18  The woman, with whom he copulateth, shall be washed with water: and shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:18  The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:18  Mulier, cum qua coierit, lavabitur aqua, et immunda erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:19  The woman, who at the return of the month, hath her issue of blood, shall be separated seven days.
Levi KJV 15:19  And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:19  Mulier, quæ redeunte mense patitur fluxum sanguinis, septem diebus separabitur.
Levi DRC 15:20  Every one that toucheth her, shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:20  And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:20  Omnis qui tetigerit eam, immundus erit usque ad vesperum :
Levi DRC 15:21  And every thing that she sleepeth on, or that she sitteth on in the days of her separation, shall be defiled.
Levi KJV 15:21  And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:21  et in quo dormierit vel sederit diebus separationis suæ, polluetur.
Levi DRC 15:22  He that toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes: and being himself washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:22  And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:22  Qui tetigerit lectum ejus, lavabit vestimenta sua : et ipse lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:23  Whosoever shall touch any vessel on which she sitteth, shall wash his clothes: and himself being washed with water, shall be defiled until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:23  And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:23  Omne vas, super quo illa sederit, quisquis attigerit, lavabit vestimenta sua : et ipse lotus aqua, pollutus erit usque ad vesperum.
Levi DRC 15:24  If a man copulateth with her in the time of her flowers, he shall be unclean seven days: and every bed on which he shall sleep, shall be defiled.
Levi KJV 15:24  And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:24  Si coierit cum ea vir tempore sanguinis menstrualis, immundus erit septem diebus : et omne stratum, in quo dormierit, polluetur.
Levi DRC 15:25  The woman that hath still issue of blood many days out of her ordinary time, or that ceaseth not to flow after the monthly courses, as long as she is subject to this disease, shall be unclean, in the same manner as if she were in her flowers.
Levi KJV 15:25  And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:25  Mulier, quæ patitur multis diebus fluxum sanguinis non in tempore menstruali, vel quæ post menstruum sanguinem fluere non cessat, quamdiu subjacet huic passioni, immunda erit quasi sit in tempore menstruo.
Levi DRC 15:26  Every bed on which she sleepeth, and every vessel on which she sitteth, shall be defiled.
Levi KJV 15:26  Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
Levi VulgClem 15:26  Omne stratum, in quo dormierit, et vas in quo sederit, pollutum erit.
Levi DRC 15:27  Whosoever toucheth them shall wash his clothes: and himself being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.
Levi KJV 15:27  And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Levi VulgClem 15:27  Quicumque tetigerit ea, lavabit vestimenta sua : et ipse lotus aqua, immundus erit usque ad vesperam.
Levi DRC 15:28  If the blood stop and cease to run, she shall count seven days of her purification:
Levi KJV 15:28  But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
Levi VulgClem 15:28  Si steterit sanguis, et fluere cessaverit, numerabit septem dies purificationis suæ :
Levi DRC 15:29  And on the eighth day she shall offer for herself to the priest, two turtles, or two young pigeons, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony:
Levi KJV 15:29  And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Levi DRC 15:30  And he shall offer one for sin, and the other for a holocaust, and he shall pray for her before the Lord, and for the issue of her uncleanness.

Levi DRC 15:31  You shall teach therefore the children of Israel to take heed of uncleanness, that they may not die in their filth, when they shall have defiled my tabernacle that is among them.
Levi KJV 15:31  Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
Levi VulgClem 15:31  Docebitis ergo filios Israël ut caveant immunditiam, et non moriantur in sordibus suis, cum polluerint tabernaculum meum quod est inter eos.
Levi DRC 15:32  This is the law of him that hath the issue of seed, and that is defiled by copulation.
Levi KJV 15:32  This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;
Levi VulgClem 15:32  Ista est lex ejus, qui patitur fluxum seminis, et qui polluitur coitu,
Levi DRC 15:33  And of the woman that is separated in her monthly times, or that hath a continual issue of blood, and of the man that sleepeth with her.
Levi KJV 15:33  And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.
Levi VulgClem 15:33  et quæ menstruis temporibus separatur, vel quæ jugi fluit sanguine, et hominis qui dormierit cum ea.
