Chapter 37
Exod DRC 37:1  And Beseleel made also, the ark of setim wood: it was two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth, and the height was of one cubit and a half: and he overlaid it with the purest gold within and without.
Exod VulgClem 37:1  Fecit autem Beseleel et arcam de lignis setim, habentem duos semis cubitos in longitudine, et cubitum ac semissem in latitudine, altitudo quoque unius cubiti fuit et dimidii : vestivitque eam auro purissimo intus ac foris.
Exod KJV 37:1  And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:
Exod DRC 37:2  And he made to it a crown of gold round about,
Exod VulgClem 37:2  Et fecit illi coronam auream per gyrum,
Exod KJV 37:2  And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
Exod DRC 37:3  Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other.
Exod VulgClem 37:3  conflans quatuor annulos aureos per quatuor angulos ejus : duos annulos in latere uno, et duos in altero.
Exod KJV 37:3  And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
Exod DRC 37:4  And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold,
Exod VulgClem 37:4  Vectes quoque fecit de lignis setim, quos vestivit auro,
Exod KJV 37:4  And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Exod DRC 37:5  And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it.
Exod VulgClem 37:5  et quos misit in annulos, qui erant in lateribus arcæ ad portandum eam.
Exod KJV 37:5  And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
Exod DRC 37:6  He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth.
Exod VulgClem 37:6  Fecit et propitiatorium, id est, oraculum, de auro mundissimo, duorum cubitorum et dimidii in longitudine, et cubiti ac semis in latitudine.
Exod KJV 37:6  And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
Exod DRC 37:7  Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory:
Exod VulgClem 37:7  Duos etiam cherubim ex auro ductili, quos posuit ex utraque parte propitiatorii :
Exod KJV 37:7  And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
Exod DRC 37:8  One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory,
Exod VulgClem 37:8  cherub unum in summitate unius partis, et cherub alterum in summitate partis alterius : duos cherubim in singulis summitatibus propitiatorii,
Exod KJV 37:8  One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
Exod DRC 37:9  Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it.
Exod VulgClem 37:9  extendentes alas, et tegentes propitiatorium, seque mutuo et illud respicientes.
Exod KJV 37:9  And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
Exod DRC 37:10  He made also the table of setim wood, in length two cubits, and in breadth one cubit, and in height it was a cubit and a half.
Exod VulgClem 37:10  Fecit et mensam de lignis setim in longitudine duorum cubitorum, et in latitudine unius cubiti, quæ habebat in altitudine cubitum ac semissem.
Exod KJV 37:10  And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:
Exod DRC 37:11  And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about,
Exod VulgClem 37:11  Circumdeditque eam auro mundissimo, et fecit illi labium aureum per gyrum,
Exod KJV 37:11  And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.
Exod DRC 37:12  And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.
Exod VulgClem 37:12  ipsique labio coronam auream interrasilem quatuor digitorum, et super eamdem, alteram coronam auream.
Exod KJV 37:12  Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.
Exod DRC 37:13  And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table,
Exod VulgClem 37:13  Fudit et quatuor circulos aureos, quos posuit in quatuor angulis per singulos pedes mensæ
Exod KJV 37:13  And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
Exod DRC 37:14  Over against the crown: and he put the bars into them, that the table might be carried.
Exod VulgClem 37:14  contra coronam : misitque in eos vectes, ut possit mensa portari.
Exod KJV 37:14  Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
Exod DRC 37:15  The bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Exod VulgClem 37:15  Ipsos quoque vectes fecit de lignis setim, et circumdedit eos auro.
Exod KJV 37:15  And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
Exod DRC 37:16  And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered.
Exod VulgClem 37:16  Et vasa ad diversos usus mensæ, acetabula, phialas, et cyathos, et thuribula, ex auro puro, in quibus offerenda sunt libamina.
Exod KJV 37:16  And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
Exod DRC 37:17  He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. from the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out:
Exod VulgClem 37:17  Fecit et candelabrum ductile de auro mundissimo, de cujus vecte calami, scyphi, sphærulæque, ac lilia procedebant :
Exod KJV 37:17  And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
Exod DRC 37:18  Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other.
Exod VulgClem 37:18  sex in utroque latere, tres calami ex parte una, et tres ex altera :
Exod KJV 37:18  And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
Exod DRC 37:19  Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies: and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches, that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal.
Exod VulgClem 37:19  tres scyphi in nucis modum per calamos singulos, sphærulæque simul et lilia : et tres scyphi instar nucis in calamo altero, sphærulæque simul et lilia. Æquum erat opus sex calamorum, qui procedebant de stipite candelabri.
Exod KJV 37:19  Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
Exod DRC 37:20  And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies:
Exod VulgClem 37:20  In ipso autem vecte erant quatuor scyphi in nucis modum, sphærulæque per singulos simul et lilia :
Exod KJV 37:20  And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
Exod DRC 37:21  And bowls under two branches in three places, which together made six branches going out from one shaft.
Exod VulgClem 37:21  et sphærulæ sub duobus calamis per loca tria, qui simul sex fiunt calami procedentes de vecte uno.
Exod KJV 37:21  And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
Exod DRC 37:22  So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 37:22  Et sphærulæ igitur, et calami ex ipso erant, universa ductilia ex auro purissimo.
Exod KJV 37:22  Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
Exod DRC 37:23  He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold.
Exod VulgClem 37:23  Fecit et lucernas septem cum emunctoriis suis, et vasa ubi ea, quæ emuncta sunt, extinguantur, de auro mundissimo.
Exod KJV 37:23  And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
Exod DRC 37:24  The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold.
Exod VulgClem 37:24  Talentum auri appendebat candelabrum cum omnibus vasis suis.
Exod KJV 37:24  Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
Exod DRC 37:25  He made also the alter of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns.
Exod VulgClem 37:25  Fecit et altare thymiamatis de lignis setim, per quadrum singulos habens cubitos, et in altitudine duos : e cujus angulis procedebant cornua.
Exod KJV 37:25  And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
Exod DRC 37:26  And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate, and the sides, and the horns.
Exod VulgClem 37:26  Vestivitque illud auro purissimo cum craticula ac parietibus et cornibus.
Exod KJV 37:26  And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
Exod DRC 37:27  And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried.
Exod VulgClem 37:27  Fecitque ei coronam aureolam per gyrum, et duos annulos aureos sub corona per singula latera, ut mittantur in eos vectes, et possit altare portari.
Exod KJV 37:27  And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
Exod DRC 37:28  And the bars themselves he made also of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of gold.
Exod VulgClem 37:28  Ipsos autem vectes fecit de lignis setim, et operuit laminis aureis.
Exod KJV 37:28  And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Exod DRC 37:29  He compounded also the oil for the ointment of sanctification, and incense of the purest spices, according to the work of a perfumer.
Exod VulgClem 37:29  Composuit et oleum ad sanctificationis unguentum, et thymiama de aromatibus mundissimis opere pigmentarii.
Exod KJV 37:29  And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
