50:2  „Oznamte národům, ohlaste tu zvěst, zvedněte korouhev a zvěstujte, nenechte si to pro sebe: Dobyt je Babylon, Bél je zostuzen, Marduk hroutí se! Jeho sochy jsou zostuzeny, jeho hnusné modly se zhroutily!

50:2  Oznamte a rozhlaste to mezi národy, pozdvihněte korouhev; rozhlaste to a nezatajujte. Řekněte: Babylon je dobyt, Bél se stydí, Marduk se třese; jeho modlářské zpodobeniny jsou zahanbeny, jeho bůžkové se třesou.

50:3  Přitáhl na něj národ severní, obrátí jeho zemi v spoušť. Zůstanou bez obyvatele – lidé i zvěř se dají na útěk.

50:3  Protože ze severu proti němu vytáhl národ, který jeho zemi učiní děsivou krajinou. Nebudou v ní obyvatelé, ⌈lidé i zvířata⌉ prchnou, utečou.

50:3  Nebo přitáhne na něj národ od půlnoci, kterýž obrátí zemi jeho v pustinu, tak že nebude obyvatele v ní. Od člověka až do hovada vystěhují se, odejdou.

50:11  Jen se radujte, jen jásejte, vy, kdo drancujete mé dědictví. Jen poskakujte jako kravka na trávě, řehtejte si jako hřebci mohutní.

50:11  Ačkoliv se radujete, ačkoliv jásáte, pustošitelé mého dědictví, ačkoliv poskakujete jako ⌈jalovice při mlácení⌉ a řehtáte jako koně,
