Chapter 7
Matt Worsley 7:2  for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you.
Matt Worsley 7:3  And why dost thou look at the splinter in thy brother's eye, but takest no notice of the beam in thine own eye?
Matt Worsley 7:4  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the chaff out of thine eye, and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye?
Matt Worsley 7:5  Thou hypocrite, first get the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see how to take the splinter out of thy brother's eye.
Matt Worsley 7:6  Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine; least they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you.
Matt Worsley 7:7  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Matt Worsley 7:8  for every one, that asketh, receiveth; and he, that seeketh, findeth; and to him, that knocketh, it shall be opened.
Matt Worsley 7:9  Is there any man among you, who, if his son ask him for bread, will give him a stone?
Matt Worsley 7:10  or if he ask for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Matt Worsley 7:11  If ye then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask Him?
Matt Worsley 7:12  All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.
Matt Worsley 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat:
Matt Worsley 7:14  whereas the gate is narrow, and the way troublesome, which leadeth into life, and few there be that find it.
Matt Worsley 7:15  And beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Matt Worsley 7:16  Ye will know them by their fruits: do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matt Worsley 7:17  so every good tree yieldeth good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces bad fruit:
Matt Worsley 7:18  a good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bear good fruit:
Matt Worsley 7:19  and every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
Matt Worsley 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:
Matt Worsley 7:22  many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have wrought many miracles? and I will then declare unto them,
Matt Worsley 7:23  I never owned you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.
Matt Worsley 7:24  Whoever therefore heareth these words of mine, and performeth them, I will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on a rock:
Matt Worsley 7:25  and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock.
Matt Worsley 7:26  And whoever heareth these words of mine, and performeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
Matt Worsley 7:27  and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.
Matt Worsley 7:28  And when Jesus had ended these discourses, the people were amazed at his doctrine:
Matt Worsley 7:29  for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
